Chapter 4422: The Chaotic Spirit Pearl’s mories
The Chaotic Spirit Pearl was extrely powerful, its essence on the sa level as the Cause Seeking Ring both are spiritual objects birthed from heaven and earth, but the Pearl has unique traits and cannot be used by others the way the Cause Seeking Ring can.
Little Tree and Chaos Child were cautious about discussing the Pearl in detail due to karmic concerns; they also feared that revealing too much would attract the attention of "Dao."
Having survived that cruel and terrifying era, after recovering so mories, both of them beca even more cautious, aware of the world’s brutality and the horror of "Dao."
Such caution had beco instinct; it was perfectly understandable.
Yet even if they would not speak, that did not an Lin Moyu could not learn the truth.
After the Chaotic Spirit Pearl died, it left behind a massive amount of essence enough to help Lin Moyu break through realms and to strengthen his domain.
Contained within this essence was an abundance of the Pearl’s mories: events of that ancient era, and things the Pearl experienced later.
These mories required special thods to extract; Lin Moyu himself could not do it, but Little Tree could though perfect extraction required Chaos Child’s help as well.
The essence refined by the Pearl teed with chaotic will. The pearl itself was immune to these wills, which only made it stronger.
But to others, these chaotic wills were poison, threatening their Dao heart and even their soul.
Lin Moyu needed the mories, the pure power, not the toxicity, but absorbing essence inevitably ca with so chaos will so Chaos Child’s purified water was essential.
Little Tree said, "I’ll use ti space power to extract the pearl’s essence, Chaos Child will purify it, and Master can absorb it in sync."
Chaos Child agreed, "No problem, leave it to !"
Their inner world opened; Lin Moyu took the pearl in, and Little Tree’s roots burrowed in as well.
Inside Chaos Child’s inner world, he could precisely control the purification, ensuring nothing was missed or lost.
Ti space power surged, and mists started to rise from the Chaotic Spirit Pearl these were the extracted essence.
This mist might not even exist in the present it could be anchored in the past, as so essence was already spent in prior battles.
But Little Tree, taking the pearl as anchor, drew in the essence from other ti points, recondensing it now an astonishing feat, a testant to Little Tree’s power.
The essence ford mists that shifted through many shapes; within, Lin Moyu could sense a storm of chaotic will.
These wills belonged to many beings, as well as the pearl itself resentnt, hatred, obsessions interwoven.
For the pearl, such chaos was a weapon; for cultivators, it was deadly poison.
Chaos Child drew out the purified water, "I’ll start now."
"Go ahead," Lin Moyu readied himself.
The purified water fell into the mist; sizzling eruptions sounded as if cold water hit hot oil, and shrill screams echoed from within.
Chaotic wills were erased, leaving only pure essence.
Yet, without the wills, the essence began dissipating rapidly, so Lin Moyu quickly inhaled it letting the purified essence explode within his body.
His power surged upward.
Across endless ages, who could count how many lives the pearl had consud? Its stockpiled essence was staggering even if Lin Moyu absorbed only a fraction, it was enough for a major breakthrough.
His strength rose, and even his distant domain grew tougher.
Little Tree kept drawing out essence, Chaos Child tirelessly purified, and Lin Moyu zealously absorbed it was seamless teamwork, with zero waste.
With each dose of essence, Lin Moyu received flashes of mory so from dead hosts, so from the pearl itself.
Images flickered across his mind, blending into a story.
He saw the chaos and ancient desolation of that era space littered with drifting corpses, bodies ground down by the Dao of chaos and the ancient desolation’s force, ultimately returning as nourishnt to the cosmos.
In that ti, no matter how mighty even the near equals of Supres upon death the body would dissolve and rejoin the universe.
Unlike today, when even Chaos Minor Completion cultivators can have corpses that endure for millions of years.
Lin Moyu understood: back then, mighty beings were all born of heaven and earth, fundantally different from today’s.
They ca from nature and returned to it.
Not all corpses dissolved, though so treasures and lifeforms, like the Cause Seeking Ring, would endure unless shattered.
It was a dreadful war that swept all of chaos and ancient desolation uncountable powerhouses fell. Each one, if not Supre, at least surpassed Full Completion.
As they died and returned to nature, the world gradually stabilized.
The Chaotic Spirit Pearl always hid, watching but not daring to join in.
In one mory, a towering tree appeared.
"Little Tree!"
It was Little Tree at his peak overwhelmingly strong, massacring through chaos and ancient desolation, felling countless elites.
Then he encountered an utterly terrifying presence battered, Little Tree was forced to flee, badly wounded.
Lin Moyu understood: that must have been "Dao." Wounded, Little Tree dismbered himself and sealed his own mories to survive.
The Chaotic Spirit Pearl trembled in a corner, not even daring a glimpse of that terror.
It was cowardly but greedy.
That dreadful being crushed all opponents unmatched anywhere.
Even when chaos and ancient desolation’s greatest joined forces, at best it was stalemate.
Finally, Lin Moyu saw, in the mories, the object over which so many fought.
A flower, with countless petals a unique blossom, eighty percent resembling the flower Chaos Child once conjured for Lin Moyu.
When the pearl saw the flower, its greed overwheld even its fear, and it charged out.
There the mory ended the pearl was mortally wounded, fled to the scar, and barely survived.
It didn’t even know how it was hurt; it never truly saw "Dao."
Or maybe it saw and forgot, blocked by terror.
After endless ages, the pearl woke, seeking so way to recover.
It beca even more cowardly and cautious, tempting new prey one by one but never daring to enter chaos boldly.
That’s why it never fully regained strength; given the choice between a return to glory or re survival, the pearl always chose to cling to life.
"So that’s how it was!"
From the pearl’s leftover mories, Lin Moyu finally saw what happened in those bygone days.
Though he never clearly saw "Dao’s" true form, he now understood the origins of it all.
