Chapter 4249: I Bet on Your Victory

The Heavenly Void Record itself possesses the ability to record all that happens in the Heavenly Void Land is written down, in exhaustive detail.

Soday, when Heavenly Void Son awakens, all he needs is a thought to know everything that transpired.

From the ti the Second Generation Domain evolved, sothing appeared in the Heavenly Void Palace that shouldn’t have: the Ferry of Tribulation.

Every successive palace master studied the ferry, but Heavenly Void Son, aiming for perfect evolution in each domain, always stayed behind the scenes, never intervened directly.

So none of those palace masters knew the Ferry’s origins at most they learned a bit of the surface.

It’s only after they died that they learned the truth; in fact, everything was within Heavenly Void Son’s grasp from the start.

Until the Fifth Generation Domain, due to outside interference, things changed Heavenly Void Son lost his absolute control over the Heavenly Void Land.

The butler appeared and did many things, though in truth these were petty little sches nothing substantial.

The butler is a being nurtured by the Heavenly Void Land itself, born with no chance for transcendence; all his dreams were illusions.

The selfishness bred by the Fifth Generation Palace Master did have so effect he really did win himself a few chances.

But those chances were not his alone to control, because besides the Heavenly Void Son, out there waited two old fellows in green and white robes, watching.

The Fifth Palace Master thought he was playing chess, but in truth, he was rely a pawn in soone else’s greater ga.

The Fifth Domain’s evolution was pretty much as Lin Moyu had previously witnessed, but this ti, watching it again, he saw many new details.

Because of all that selfish manipulation, the Fifth Domain was flawed with many defects.

The domain seed was already weak, and without Heavenly Void Son’s guidance, the domain’s Great Daos were chaotic a thousand paths, none supre.

With things as they were, there could be many cultivators, but it was nearly impossible for any to transcend.

With innate flaws in the domain, soone like the Kunlun Emperor, born into the Void Realm, only had the faintest sliver of hope for ascension but he brought his own downfall as well.

As the Fifth Palace Master laid his traps, Lin Moyu saw the green robed elder appear.

Right after the domain’s creation, the Green Robe showed up Lin Moyu guessed it was to stop the Fifth Palace Master.

But then, all at once, the green robed elder withdrew because a Great Dao suddenly erged within the Ancestral Land of Origins.

That Great Dao was none other than the Immortality Dao!

Seeing the Immortality Dao, even as a bystander, Lin Moyu was stunned.

He hadn’t even noticed where the Immortality Dao ca from one mont, it was just... there.

When it appeared, the Fifth Palace Master was engrossed in studying the Ferry of Tribulation and paid it no mind.

At that ti, he’d already let the domain evolve at its own pace, weaving his plans to break free from Heavenly Void Son’s control and win his own freedom.

That Slumbering Coffin containing Heavenly Void Son’s soul, though thrown into chaos by the Fifth Master, for so reason returned to the Fifth Domain.

Perhaps the chaos had affected it, causing it to open and Heavenly Void Son’s remnant soul to awaken.

He built his own power within the domain, conquered several worlds, and launched campaigns against others.

Lin Moyu noted his techniques were oddly familiar six or seven parts like his own, but still distinct.

At first, Heavenly Void Son’s soul was strong, but as ti passed, he grew weaker until his empire collapsed, his worlds shattering around him.

So made it to the Ancestral Land of Origins and finally beca part of the Boundary Sea World.

Others wandered lost in cracks of ti and space, surfacing only now and again one such event was the appearance of the mysterious manor. By then, they were greatly weakened, their records vague and incomplete.

The beast skin Lin Moyu acquired had once detailed their ancient glory, but now all of it was illusion nothing real.

Researching it would yield no truths what shouldn’t have existed in the domain’s evolution was eventually corrected, setting everything back on the intended course.

Despite his power, Heavenly Void Son’s tiny sliver of soul, after all its ordeals slumber, chaos, awakening was left utterly weak.

Each use of power spent more than could be replaced, while the domain’s cultivators only grew stronger.

So, naturally, he fell in the end.

And at last, the Slumbering Coffin was recovered by Lin Moyu, restored to the Heavenly Void Land, and made complete once again.

What truly puzzled Lin Moyu was why Heavenly Void Son’s thods so closely resembled his own.

And even more, that sothing seed missing from the process of the domain’s evolution.

The Heavenly Void Land was supposed to record every detail of every evolution, leaving nothing from real to virtual, not a single thing left unnoted.

Yet Lin Moyu found so of his own mories missing.

His little world where he started did not appear anywhere. From the very beginning, it was as if he entered the greater world fully ford.

That entire set of experiences seed to have been deliberately hidden.

Then there was the "system" that had helped him through his earliest stages, established his foundation, and disappeared after leaving the virtual world it too was absent.

These two remain mysteries.

Lin Moyu guessed that perhaps his little world had to do with the green robed elder. As for the system... that was harder to pinpoint.

"Why did the appearance of the Immortality Dao make the green robed elder withdraw?"

"Does that an Heavenly Void Son was waiting for the Immortality Dao and as the Immortality Dao’s master, was he waiting all this ti for ?"

The vision shattered. Lin Moyu’s consciousness returned to the First Generation Heavenly Void Palace.

Heavenly Void Son gazed at him and said, "You understand now, don’t you?"

Lin Moyu nodded. "I understand so...but "

Heavenly Void Son cut him off, "That’s enough. Anything more, you must seek for yourself. So things cannot be said, even asked."

Lin Moyu frowned Heavenly Void Son seed to be speaking in riddles.

Heavenly Void Son continued, "Don’t think I refuse you out of ill will. In ti, when you reach Perfection in Chaos, you’ll understand."

"Chaos is complicated beyond imagining many, many eyes are on that one position."

That position...

Lin Moyu couldn’t help thinking was he talking about the seat of Supre?

Was becoming a Supre not just a matter of cultivation, but sothing else?

He decided to trust Heavenly Void Son’s words and let the matter rest. Instead, he asked, "What will you do about the butler and the Fifth Palace Master?"

Heavenly Void Son replied, "Nothing needs to be done they are ants. Give them hope, ti and again, only to utterly snuff it out after all their striving. That... is the best outco."

A fatal blow, pure psychological destruction Heavenly Void Son seed to do nothing, yet had already decided the most hopeless fate.

Ti and again, hope is handed out, then in the end ripped away just thinking about it sent chills down Lin Moyu’s spine.

In Heavenly Void Son’s eyes, the butler was a re ant, and the Fifth Palace Master only a slightly bigger ant no more.

Heavenly Void Son said, "Now that I’m awake, sothing interesting caught my eye. As for the Fifth please, Daoist, leave him to you."

Lin Moyu’s mind raced at these words. Suddenly, it dawned on him. "Heavenly Void Daoist, do you an I will have to battle him?"

Heavenly Void Son nodded, "Yes, a fight to the death. But I bet on you to win."

Lin Moyu understood, murmuring to himself, "So the tampering in the domain core was his handiwork."

He rembered the vortex behind the core’s divine rune, endlessly siphoning domain power and fortune such a thing couldn’t be done by an outsider. But if it was Fifth, it all made sense.

Heavenly Void Son said nothing, implicitly confirming it.

Lin Moyu knew this battle could no longer be avoided!
