Chapter 4244: Palm of Yin and Yang, Evolving the Domain

Although it was only a slight shaking of the Ferry of Tribulation, it was still astonishing at least an attack from a Minor Accomplishnt Chaos Realm would be required to achieve that effect. If the Third Generation Heavenly Void Palace Master were still alive, reaching Minor Accomplishnt Chaos Realm would have posed no challenge for him; perhaps even attacks at Major Accomplishnt Chaos Realm could be unleashed.

But now, the master had long since fallen, the Third Generation Heavenly Void Palace is shattered so who could still launch an attack of such magnitude?

If the Palace Master had nurtured a being similar to the Tree Sovereign, that would have been impossible; when the Fourth Generation Domain was created, everything of the Third would have been buried nothing could be cultivated or preserved.

The only things that could remain are the Daos belonging to the Third Generation Domain.

Thunder continued to flash as the ferry shook its way forward. Only after passing through the thunderclouds did Lin Moyu finally see inside the palace.

All directions inside were filled with masses of thunderclouds, vast and small. The larger ones spanned tens of millions of miles, while the smallest were just a few thousand feet across.

The space within was obviously expanded, and continued expanding even now the force expanding it emanated from these clouds of thunder.

There was no spatial Dao force within the thunderclouds, yet they still produced the effect of expanding space. Besides, Lin Moyu could feel all kinds of Great Dao auras space, ti, five elents all were here.

Each thundercloud was unique its strength and size did not necessarily correspond. So clouds looked small but radiated terrifying power. Others were large yet felt unimpressive to Lin Moyu. Of course, so were both huge and strong.

As soon as the ferry had entered, it crashed straight into a thundercloud. It wasn’t a particularly formidable one, but it was still strong enough to shake the ferry.

And there were even stronger clouds here, approaching the power of the Chaos Realm.

"It seems the Third Generation Palace Master was stronger than the Fourth," Lin Moyu thought, steering the ferry closer to a thundercloud for further analysis.

He sketched a divine rune, found it worked with so difficulty but still retained most of its effects.

With a few tweaks, Lin Moyu drew an array a formation that spread out like a great net, enveloping the thundercloud.

A torrent of information stread back to him; through the formation, Lin Moyu broke down and analyzed the thundercloud.

Layer by layer, the thundercloud’s mysteries were revealed.

At that mont, the very structure of the Third Generation Heavenly Void Palace, and the essence of the Third Domain itself, were made clear to Lin Moyu.

Despite all the changes possible in the tracks of the Great Dao, their root nature remains the sa: at the core of the Third Generation Heavenly Void Palace’s power were the two Great Daos of Yin and Yang.

The Palace Master used these two Daos to evolve the rest deriving all other Daos, and, through that, all things and the world itself.

The thunderclouds took Yin Yang as their foundation, then rged in other Daos.

The stronger the Yin Yang Daos, the more powerful the thundercloud; the more Daos rged, the bigger the cloud. But more rged Daos didn’t always an stronger clouds what mattered most was the fundantal strength of Yin Yang.

"As expected, the Great Dao is ultimately simple," Lin Moyu murmured. "The Five Elents Dao are already a simplification, but still not as pure as Yin and Yang."

He recalled the saying: The Dao gave birth to One, One gave birth to Two, Two gave birth to Three, and Three to all things.

The ’Two’ here can be seen as Yin and Yang Daos. The ’Three’ is not literal but stands for multiplicity.

The Five Elents can be thought of as ’Three,’ and the myriad Daos of the Fifth Generation Domain as all things.

Perhaps this explanation isn’t flawless, but it’s not far off.

Lin Moyu was gaining deeper understanding of the Third Generation Domain’s core. He seed to glimpse the Palace Master, wielding Yin and Yang in his palm, creating all things.

The Palace Master was strong, yet even so, he could not escape his destiny and ultimately perished.

"In this system, the Third Gen Palace Master wielded Yin and Yang which would be the ’Two.’ Then what did the Second Gen Palace Master wield? The ’One’ that gives rise to ’Two’ could that be Chaos?"

"And then what is the Dao, truly?"

Lin Moyu’s thoughts ran deeper. If the Great Dao cos from Chaos, what is after Chaos itself?

The master of the Ferry, the Calamity Supre, killed his way to the end of Chaos why did he suddenly shatter? What did he see; was it the Dao?

And what is it, through the endless sches of the Green robed and White robed Supres, that they pursue so tirelessly?

Now, standing at his current height, more profound and intricate questions ca to Lin Moyu he realized, the higher one stands, the less they understand; there is always more to seek.

But that only inflad his curiosity. He felt a pull inside, a desire to do as Calamity Supre had done: fight his way to the end of Chaos and see what lies there.

The ferry navigated the Third Generation Palace for a long ti eventually reaching its center.

The grand hall at the core had been destroyed, leaving only a thunder pool.

The thunder pool was black and white, a visible manifestation of Yin and Yang.

Within the pool, a phantom image appeared an echo of the Third Generation Palace Master in his day. He sat in the pool, channeling the power of Yin and Yang, sending out two bolts of lightning that blasted into the void.

Out of the explosion, the seed of a domain was born chaos energy surged in, which he refined with Yin and Yang and rged into the new domain.

The phantom image broke up intermittently much was missing, and Lin Moyu had to fill in the gaps. Still, he understood most of what was shown.

When the image vanished, Lin Moyu saw a round stone with black and white patterns, resting in the thunder pool.

"What is this?"

Instinctively, he felt it was unusual. He left the ferry and reached into the pool, retrieving the stone. The mont it left, the thunder pool erupted.

Without the stone, the pool’s balance was destroyed, and the pool having existed for countless ages began to collapse.

Lin Moyu hurried back to the ferry. The force within the thunder pool was so imnse that, had it exploded, he’d have died several tis over.

Boom!

He’d scarcely ducked inside before the destabilized pool exploded. Yin and Yang collided and released a terrifying burst of force, wiping out what remained of the central hall.

The palace was filled with thunderclouds, now compressed by the blast and detonating in turn.

Each blast fed into the next, in a cataclysmic chain reaction; the entire Third Generation Heavenly Void Palace was thrown into utter chaos.

The explosions went on unending, space consuming itself in a cascade of collapse, as still greater forces were released.

Lin Moyu guided the ferry out of the conflagration, only stopping once he’d cleared the palace.

He looked back at the endlessly exploding ruins with lingering fear.

Things were worse than he’d thought without the ferry, even his Rebirth talent wouldn’t have saved him.

Each explosion ca close to true chaos level and could have killed him for good.

Fortunately, with the ferry he’d escaped in one piece.

He glanced at the black and white round stone in his hand its surface was smooth, filled inside with Yin and Yang, not innate treasure but even more wondrous than innate treasures.

After a bit of study, he couldn’t guess its use and simply stashed it away for now.

The Ferry of Tribulation left the Third Palace, heading for its next destination.

Explosions still rocked the remains of the Third Palace; their shockwaves sent all the domain’s living creatures into fits of terror, so Lin Moyu found his path peaceful for a change.

Very soon, he arrived before the main gate of the Second Generation Heavenly Void Palace. Lin Moyu frowned, "This gate why is it like this?!"
