As both they and their world wills grew stronger together their power far surpassed that of outsiders like the Hell Master.
Wood Slaughter Realm Master spoke in a low voice: "Disperse for now I have sothing to discuss with Immortal Dao Friend."
A Dao Lord hesitated: "Realm Master we just want to buy so Great Dao Refining Pills."
Wood Slaughter Realm Master replied coldly: "You can do so after I’ve finished speaking with him. For now, leave."
His voice carried killing intent as sharp as blades pressing against everyone’s throats. The trading market’s rules prohibited fighting or killing but no one dared defy Wood Slaughter Realm Master. After all their physical bodies still existed in reality and there was no guarantee that Wood Slaughter Realm Master wouldn’t seek them out there instead.
Reluctantly but obediently the crowd dispersed under his command.
Wood Slaughter Realm Master called out loudly: "Immortal Dao Friend please co up for a chat."
Realizing there was no avoiding this encounter Lin Moyu responded and flew up to et him atop the tree.
On top of the tree a tea table was set up with tea brewing automatically. Wood Slaughter Realm Master gestured politely: "Lin Dao Friend please sit."
It didn’t surprise Lin Moyu that he knew his real surna; he complied and sat down as instructed.
A cup of fragrant tea floated over to Lin Moyu. Without hesitation or suspicion he drank it in one gulp before calmly remarking: "Good tea."
Wood Slaughter Realm Master chuckled: "You’re not afraid?"
Lin Moyu shook his head: "Since you’ve already found what’s there to fear?"
Wood Slaughter Realm Master said: "You’re indeed cautious but I’m curious why did you act so carefully?"
Lin Moyu replied: "You should know I’m from another Great Spirit Domain and we have a saying: ’Do no harm but always guard against others.’"
Wood Slaughter Realm Master smiled faintly: "A wise saying it seems your world isn’t very peaceful."
From just a few words Wood Slaughter Realm Master inferred much about Lin Moyu’s circumstances. Realm masters were never fools and Lin Moyu hadn’t intended to hide anything anyway: "Indeed the competition in my world is fierce."
Wood Slaughter Realm Master continued: "If I’m not mistaken your world already has a world will and it has taken form."
Lin Moyu smiled bitterly: "How did you figure that out?"
Wood Slaughter Realm Master explained: "Because your true spirit is no longer within you."
So that’s how he deduced it... Lin Moyu sighed: "Yes my true spirit is no longer with ."
Wood Slaughter Realm Master said: "With your true spirit under your world will’s control you’ve essentially lost your autonomy. What are your thoughts on visiting our World Tree Great Spirit Domain?"
Lin Moyu replied honestly: "This domain has developed well the Human Sovereign’s contributions are unparalleled."
Wood Slaughter Realm Master asked directly: "Have you ever considered reclaiming your true spirit and regaining your freedom?"
Lin Moyu didn’t mince words: "I have but it’s incredibly difficult. In my world’s history only one person has succeeded across three eras and they paid an enormous price."
"My visit here was partly to seek guidance from that predecessor but while they survived their Dao heart is shattered and their future ruined."
Wood Slaughter Realm Master pondered briefly before proposing: "In that case I’d like to make you an offer."
"Please speak," Lin Moyu said.
"If you manage to reclaim your true spirit and face your world will soday I’ll provide assistance when needed," Wood Slaughter Realm Master began.
"In exchange I want the formula for your Great Dao Refining Pill."
