Chapter 1453: What Happens When Breaking Through to God Lord?

The golden light little Buddha didn’t even have ti to see what was happening before being heavily pressed down.

The hundred-thousand-ter-tall Skeleton King, accompanied by immortal flas, descended from the sky, landing directly on top of the golden light little Buddha who was trying to escape.

Lin Moyu laughed awkwardly, "That’s quite a coincidence."

Golden light erupted from the little Buddha’s whole body, his prayer beads flying out and transforming into a hundred-ter Buddha image in the air.

The giant Buddha lifted the Skeleton King with a wave of its hand; with trendous strength, it easily tossed such a heavy opponent.

Golden light Buddha scrambled out in embarrassnt, flying away without looking back.

The Skeleton King slumped on the ground, struggling to swing his bone sword. Though unable to get up, he still managed to unleash a God-Slaying strike.

Bright sword light suddenly shone from the golden light little Buddha’s body. Amidst the screams, the sword light engulfed him.

But the golden light little Buddha did not die. The golden-thread kasaya saved his life again. This kasaya had twice now blocked fatal attacks for him, but was now badly damaged and his injuries even worse.

Bone Hell arrived as expected, landing on him again as he scread.

Immortal flas swept in from all sides, and ten or so ninth-stage God King spirits within attacked together, putting imnse pressure on the golden light little Buddha.

Normally, he would ignore their attacks completely. But now, severely injured, these attacks beca the final straw.

Golden light Buddha scread again and again; Lin Moyu pointed a finger. A red light fell Fusion Spell: Ti Curse!

His soul assaulted, golden light Buddha scread even louder.

At that mont, his Buddha crown flashed, and countless golden streams of fire entered his head, stabilizing his wounds and relieving pain.

"What a good thing, this can both attack and heal."

Lin Moyu joked, but continued attacking.

His aura soared, quickly breaking through his own cultivation limit Origin Spell: Focus!

In an instant, Lin Moyu broke through the ninth stage of God Lord, reaching Minor God Lord realm.

Now, Lin Moyu felt relaxed, no pressure on either body or soul. He felt he could go even higher; with Origin Spell’s power and his mighty undead army, he could fully break through to God Lord realm.

Just as he was about to break through and see the scenery ahead, he suddenly stopped.

He realized that breaking through to God Lord realm here might cause big trouble.

This world does not allow those above the God Lord realm to enter the limit is Minor God Lord realm.

"Best not to break the rules!"

Lin Moyu chuckled and kept his realm at the peak of Minor God Lord.

Glancing at the golden light Buddha, already over ten thousand kiloters away, he casually drew a True God realm sword and swung it.

A God-Slaying strike, even more powerful than Skeleton King’s. The sword light flashed and exploded on the golden light little Buddha tens of thousands of kiloters away.

The kasaya on the golden light little Buddha finally shattered completely, no longer able to protect him, leaving only the last bit of force blasting into his body, tearing it to pieces.

From the shattered form, a tiny soul broke free and tried to flee.

"The little Buddhas of the Buddha Clan really have endless treasures."

"Too bad you can’t escape!"

The golden light little Buddha’s soul was protected by a golden ring, barely escaping catastrophe.

But with no physical body, his soul was extrely vulnerable.

He was, after all, just a little Buddha, not a true Buddha. His soul had yet to pass through the Law Star River for purification and was far weaker. Now, just a few high-stage God Kings could kill him.

Unfortunately for him, Lin Moyu had laid out countless Skeleton God Generals in the area, thousands upon thousands in number. With the mark of Bone Hell, wherever he fled, Lin Moyu could sense it.

There was no escape from the pursuit of Skeleton God Generals.

In undead vision, the vast plain revealed the little Buddha’s soul fire, so dazzling and easy to catch.

Sharp sword energies attacked from all sides. The spirits he once looked down on now beca reapers of life.

The golden light little Buddha fled in panic, hiding everywhere, but it was useless.

Lin Moyu had already gathered his spoils and followed.

Only half an hour later, Lin Moyu again caught up with the golden light little Buddha.

Bone Hell descended; the little Buddha’s soul was filled with despair.

Beyond despair, there was terror, as he saw the Soul-Devouring Minor God Lord in Bone Hell, now entirely gray, unleashing a fierce attack at him.

"You devil!" The little Buddha scread desperately.

But it was useless; Lin Moyu answered with a cold smile.

Knowing he was done for, the golden light little Buddha put his hands together and recited a Buddhist chant. An unnad scripture spilled from his mouth and entered Lin Moyu’s ears, making him feel uneasy.

The little Buddha’s soul solidified and grew stronger within the chant. Buddha light grew brighter, and he beca a golden Buddha a true Buddha, not a little one.

"Instant Enlightennt!"

Lin Moyu thought of a secret technique in the Buddha Clan: Instant Enlightennt. In a short ti, one transforms into a Buddha with full Buddha combat power.

But this technique is a top-secret one in the Buddha Clan, known only by a few. It’s a last resort technique using it can cause serious injury, even imdiate nirvana.

Lin Moyu frowned, not expecting the little Buddha to have such a move.

As the Buddha image ford, Lin Moyu’s expression changed dramatically and he fled in a burst of light.

Alarms rang in his soul, just as when the Ancient Buddha’s palm struck. Lin Moyu fled without hesitating, as fast as he could. If he didn’t flee, he would surely die this ti.

The Buddha Lich appeared behind him, using Fate-Gazing. Lin Moyu saw hints of the future and imdiately knew what to do Skeleton God Generals vanished, fully recalled, Bone Hell vanished too.

Lin Moyu didn’t dare leave even the faintest trace, worrying that the other might track him by so ans.

The newly enlightened little Buddha froze, realizing that though he was now a Buddha, without a physical body or passage through the Law Star River, his power was far below a true God Lord.

He was simply unwilling to die like this. But why did Lin Moyu flee why so decisively?

He stood in shock, for two full seconds.

When he recovered and tried to chase, the dark sky suddenly turned blood red. Flas hiding behind the clouds suddenly appeared, dyeing the earth crimson.

Lin Moyu had already run tens of thousands of kiloters; the world before him turned scarlet. He looked up, stunned.

Above the clouds, there was no fla only crimson curse light, carrying despair.

Curses are usually distinguished by color; red ans offensive curses, often attacking soul, body, or both.

The red sky was an imnse offensive curse!

A terrifying pressure descended, crushing Lin Moyu to the ground unable to move.

He finally understood the consequences of breaking through to God Lord here.

In his sight, a red light fell from the sky onto the golden light little Buddha; then the undying flas turned into a gray dragon, twisting and shattering the great sun, exploding it.

The gray dragon swallowed all the fragnts, then spat them out. Nine fireballs flew out, passing through the Underworld Swamp and landing on the newly ford Yellow Earth Desert, becoming fireballs hanging in the sky.

"So that’s where the fireballs in the yellow earth desert co from."

Lin Moyu realized the origin of the nine fireballs, and understood sothing else.

The undying flas did not return to the sky, but rushed at the torn rift, angrily roaring, wrapping the rift in gray fire. Within the fla, the rift closed, and the Underworld Swamp beca whole again.

General Youyi of the First Army cast curses again, cursing the second wave of enemies.

With the curse, all their blood essence and laws were drawn out, turning everything about them into the yellow earth desert.

With the battlefield coming to a close, Lin Moyu sighed as an onlooker.

Though the First Army was defeated, it wasn’t a total defeat. They still have a chance, waiting for their master to return.

The images of the First Army’s final battle were etched deeply in Lin Moyu’s soul, never to be erased.

The tombstones under the blazing sun were slowly nding; the outermost tombstones suffered the worst damage, the deeper ones less so, creating differing records, so destroyed.

Only General Youyi’s tombstone recorded the entire process.

After the battle, Lin Moyu finally understood the causes and effects, and the origin of the Underworld Swamp.

It has existed since ancient tis, always surviving war, never extinguished.

Now it was recovering, waiting for its master’s return.

Lin Moyu was shocked; he could not imagine how powerful the master ntioned by General Youyi must be.

From his own experience, Lin Moyu believed that the master ntioned by General Youyi, the mysterious castle lord, and the general in the ancient tomb must be one and the sa.

...Asking for flowers...

One possessed of a fearso army and unimaginable might.

But the images hadn’t ended, and continued.

Lin Moyu’s consciousness hadn’t returned, still hovering over the earth.

The Underworld Swamp fell silent; the undying flas resud their normal state, shining over the land. Under their light, the devastated swamp slowly healed. General Youyi also returned to his tomb.

Lin Moyu’s heart seed to sink with the swamp itself. He fell into a strange drowsy state, unaware of how ti passed.

He was awakened by the sound of tal scraping, and this seed to awaken the Underworld Swamp too.

Once-dead ape monsters revived, standing up to wander the land...

The corpses in the swamp also revived; corpses and ape monsters were mortal enemies, launching battle after battle, year after year with no end.

Dead ape monsters, under the undying flas, soul fire reignited, but lacking consciousness only instinct remained, becoming puppets that knew only battle.

Most fights between ape monsters and corpses ended in draws; but this was the corpses’ ho territory.

Over countless years, the apes’ numbers slowly declined but the decline was slow.

It would take countless ages for the corpses to kill all the apes.

Ti continued, battle raged on.

Below the Underworld Swamp, monsters appeared in the Yellow Earth Desert.

The desert was born from the ape monsters’ blood essence, laws, and consciousness.

Everything within contained the ape monsters’ subconscious.

For countless reasons, the Yellow Earth Desert ford its own rules.

One day, a group of people broke into the Yellow Earth Desert, fighting their way through and finally reaching the Underworld Swamp.

They delved deep and battled ape monsters.

These people included Xu Qingyang and 23 Minor God Lords. They killed many ape monsters, eventually attracting Minor God Lord-level ape monsters and fleeing in defeat.

Most of them died, only a few escaping pursuit yet ultimately perished in the swamp.

Xu Qingyang was among the very lucky ones, with a high-grade soul bead shielding him from the swamp’s gaze.

"Oh, it’s her."

Among these images, Lin Moyu saw a person.
