Chapter 796: Chapter 796: Labyrinth and Monster

Miao Miaomiao touched her ear and turned around; it was obvious she just wanted to take advantage of Gong Baoding’s newcor status to have so fun.

Gong Baoding patted Lin Huan’s shoulder and said, “Then the three of us will go in together. The kitten and I can help you kill that monster. After the monster is dead, you can go back and rest.”

Lin Huan agreed happily; as long as he could take care of the monster, he didn’t care who did it.

After discussing, the three of them walked into the mirror. The surface rippled like water, and then they disappeared.

The mont he entered the mirror, Gong Baoding felt a force trying to separate his consciousness from his body.

However, Miao Miaomiao had warned him about this before he entered, so he didn’t resist and let his consciousness detach from his body.

After his consciousness was detached, he entered a new body. When he opened his eyes, he found himself standing on the surface of a highway.

The length of this stretch of road was about one hundred ters, and the road together with the wilderness on either side was about sixty ters wide, roughly the sa as a standard football field.

The sky was normally lit, but it was unclear whether it was real or fake.

The end of the road abruptly disappeared, leaving only a silver wall, with a large mirror in the middle of the wall, which must be the entrance and exit of this space.

The space within the Mirror Labyrinth had been simply expanded by Jidro, allowing each cube to accommodate more things.

It could be a virgin jungle, or a harbor town, or even an entire space of seawater.

Lin Huan and Miao Miaomiao also appeared beside Gong Baoding. They didn’t react as dramatically as Gong Baoding did, because they had both been there more than once.

Gong Baoding tried moving a few tis and then touched his cheek, showing an expression of realization.

There was a small scar on his left cheek, but now that scar was on the right cheek, aning the body he was using now was the reverse of the real world. The sense of alienation he felt in this body was probably due to that reason.

Before the three had a chance to start exploring, they heard a cackling noise.

“Foolish humans, your brains must really be broken, daring to co here again. This ti I’ll kill you in a different way; I’m going to shatter your balls first and then—huh?”

A mass of purplish-black smoke floated down from the sky, and a ferocious Fishman’s head erged from the smoke, looking puzzledly at Lin Huan and the others. Why were there two more people this ti?

This monster was a Hateful Demon Monster caught by Wen Wen in the Tian Family Town. It had once stolen many of Wen Wen’s abilities and was able to fight Wen Wen, whose strength was in the Upper Sequence, to a standstill.

But after losing the ho field advantage of Tian Family Town and the support of Lord Tian Shi, those stolen abilities dwindled to just a bit. Now, it was only a simple force of abomination, slightly weaker than the average Disaster Level.

Normally, a superpower user with Lin Huan’s strength wouldn’t be instantly killed by a Hateful Demon Monster.

However, the Hateful Demon Monster had always lived in an environnt of Illusion Technique and had strong resistance to illusions. It could see through Lin Huan’s illusions at a glance, so Lin Huan was helpless before it.

Miao Miaomiao looked at Lin Huan with sympathy. Now she understood why Lin Huan was so determined to kill the Hateful Demon Monster; he must have suffered a horrendous death before.

Lin Huan snorted coldly and pointed at the Hateful Demon Monster as he said loudly, “Two bigshots, it’s this scoundrel! Please help slaughter him!”

Realizing that sothing was wrong, the Hateful Demon Monster turned to flee. Miao Miaomiao twisted her body and transford into a tens of ters long serpent, imdiately ensnaring the Hateful Demon Monster in the sky.

Then, Gong Baoding extended a finger and released a fla arrow that pierced through the Hateful Demon Monster’s skull.

The strength of the Hateful Demon Monster was sowhat weak compared to Gong Baoding and Miao Miaomiao, so the two of them tead up and easily killed it before it even had a chance to utter a wail.

The Hateful Demon Monster, its head scorched, gradually turned silvery, its skin becoming mirror-like, and it slowly began to fade away.

Lin Huan didn’t wait for it to completely vanish, striding forward and delivering a kick to the Hateful Demon Monster’s groin.

Kick after kick, his expression unspeakably fierce, he continued until he had smashed it to bits, finally taking a long breath, now feeling a sense of relief.

After killing the Hateful Demon Monster, Gong Baoding, Miao Miaomiao, and Lin Huan began curiously wandering around the Mirror Labyrinth.

Apart from individuals like Wen Wen, who relied on the Sanctuary to break the rules of this place, no one else could destroy the walls of the Mirror Labyrinth; to enter other spaces, one had to pass through the mirrors at either end.

Each space offered a different view, providing Gong Baoding with a sense of freshness, and Lin Huan felt the sa, as he had hardly ever left the previous street space…

However, Miao Miaomiao wasn’t as at ease as the other two. She had been to this place twice and knew that the Slaughter Maze wouldn’t give them much ti to sightsee.

After a period of comfort, they were bound to encounter monsters that were about as strong as themselves, or slightly stronger.

These monsters all ca from the cells of the Sanctuary, and they were highly aggressive.

Unlike Containnt Officers who could enter as they wished, for monsters to enter here, there needed to be a superpower user with similar strength entering, to earn Jidro’s permission.

Every monster’s room had a mirror, and after Jidro assessed the strength of the entrants, he would light up the mirror in the appropriate monster’s room. The first monster to touch the mirror would get the chance to enter the Slaughter Maze.

Once in the maze, the monsters would fight the Containnt Officers under Jidro’s arrangent. If they lost, they would have to return to their cells, but if they won, they would earn so ti to move freely within the Slaughter Maze.

During this ti, whether admiring the scenery or attacking the phantoms of Containnt Officers and monsters was allowed.

Therefore, the monsters conscious in the maze all put forth great effort to take down the Containnt Officers that entered, competing for their ti of free movent.

Sure enough, just as the three had anticipated, after they arrived at a rural farm village, they saw a man with a peeled hard-boiled egg on his head walking toward them.

Oh, it wasn’t a peeled hard-boiled egg, but rather, his head lacked all facial features and hair.

He was a Middle Sequence strength demon, the Faceless Demon!

The Faceless Demon stared intently at Gong Baoding and began to undergo a transformation, little by little turning into Gong Baoding’s likeness.

Then, intense flas erupted from the body of the Faceless Demon, transforming into a giant firebird with wings spanning over ten ters, larger than the firebird Gong Baoding himself could transform into, igniting the surrounding houses.

Gong Baoding imdiately beca extra vigilant, but unexpectedly, the Faceless Demon flew straight toward Miao Miaomiao.

Miao Miaomiao complained helplessly and then broke into a sprint. Her main fighting thod was transforming into a beast and fighting with the body of a wild animal; she most hated this kind of opponent that she couldn’t even touch.
