646: Chapter 636 Laboratory 646: Chapter 636 Laboratory The scent of the la lycanthrope was right beneath this orphanage.

Tao Qingqing, bypassing the teachers and children at the entrance, sneaked into the orphanage.

The interior of the orphanage was deserted, with a layer of dust accumulated on the ground, indicating that the entire orphanage was now reduced to just those outside maintaining the “harmonious scene.”

Following the scent, Tao Qingqing found a staircase leading underground.

At the end of the stairs was an old iron door with a faint trace of Qi on it, seemingly arranged with care.

So Tao Qingqing did not choose to enter through the iron door but instead used bright red energy to bore a small hole next to the door and, transforming into a bat, flitted into the laboratory.

No sooner had the hundreds of bats solidified than Tao Qingqing felt a sense of oppression, as though so horrific thing was clutching her throat, yet she knew well there was no one here but her.

The laboratory was vast, much larger than the space above ground, filled with jars and containers holding plants and flesh, and so machines whose functions were indiscernible.

Tao Qingqing’s target, the la lycanthrope, was placed inside a giant glass jar filled with green liquid, its limbs bound by thick chains, immobile.

Notably, its crippled leg had been amputated, replaced by a new leg twisted like the branch of a tree.

“Staying here any longer feels like sothing bad will happen…

This place is not simple, not sothing I can handle!”

Wen Wen sped through the city with incredible velocity, and after five days had passed, they still had nothing to show for their efforts.

In two more days, Zhu Qipei’s location trace would expire, and once Dr.

Feng left the city, it would beco extrely difficult to find him.

After dealing with the giant strange plant, the entire city seed to have fallen into silence, with no further sightings of similar plant monsters.

They could only rely on the strange connection between Zhu Qipei and Dr.

Feng to affirm that Dr.

Feng was still within the city.

During this ti, Wen Wen had also set up Surveillance Points, but the results were scant.

Surveillance Points were suitable for searching for unguarded monsters, but it was nearly impossible to find soone like Dr.

Feng, a strong entity who could intentionally conceal his tracks if he wished to do so.

Wen Wen even considered exposing the sanctuary’s Qi to attract the enemy directly to him.

But if he did that, he might draw not only Dr.

Feng and Ais Wakaz but others as well, so he abandoned this perilous thought.

Just as Wen Wen grew slightly irritable from the prolonged absence of leads, he received a ssage from Tao Qingqing sent through their chain connection—she had found a strange laboratory!

Through the link of the chains, Wen Wen saw what Tao Qingqing was seeing: the petri dishes with fungi, weird plants, chunks of flesh…

There was no doubt that this was Dr.

Feng’s laboratory.

This unexpected discovery slightly excited Wen Wen, as they had been searching fruitlessly for days, and yet it was Tao Qingqing who had stumbled upon critical information.

He was ready to teleport there to obtain so intelligence personally when he halted in his tracks.

“No, I shouldn’t go personally.

If I show up there, Dr.

Feng might just give up on that laboratory and go into hiding, only soone with relatively weaker strength like Tao Qingqing won’t arouse his vigilance.”

“This might be an opportunity.

If he personally acts against Tao Qingqing, even if I catch just the tip of his fox’s tail, I could join forces with Zhu Qipei and Feng Bei to launch a joint attack on him!”

Hence, Wen Wen spoke to Tao Qingqing through the chain, “Now follow my instructions and investigate this laboratory.

If nothing happens, so be it, but if an enemy appears that you cannot overco, just put up a minimal resistance and then surrender.

I want to see if using you can bait out the big fish.”

After hearing Wen Wen’s words, Tao Qingqing laughed at herself.

Wen Wen was using her as bait.

If she were just an ordinary person, Wen Wen would have taken her away from the dangerous situation imdiately.

But, she was a prisoner, after all.

Under Wen Wen’s direction, Tao Qingqing collected everything in the laboratory that seed remotely useful and sent it all to the Sanctuary.

Wen Wen planned to hand these items over to the Association’s research institutions when he found the ti.

This sowhat tedious process made him feel that the Sanctuary was lacking in research personnel.

If it had its own scientific team, it wouldn’t need to be so troubleso.

Having swept through all the items in plain sight, Tao Qingqing then focused her attention on a huge tal cabinet that likely contained so important items.

After prying open the tal cabinet with brute force, Wen Wen saw eighteen trays inside, each containing a glass jar full of culture fluid and a small glass bottle.

The glass jars contained limbs that were a mix of plants and flesh, while those small glass bottles held a mixture of viruses.

When he saw the third jar, Wen Wen’s pupils contracted slightly.

The shape of the limb was very similar to the Monster he had slain in the mine.

If it really was severed from that Monster, it ant that Dr.

Feng had at least eighteen sets of such creations!

So far, Wen Wen and his team had only destroyed two sets, and the remaining sixteen were enough to cause a disaster!

Wen Wen said to Tao Qingqing, “Collect all of these items, and also see if there is any address information for these jars around here…”

“Wait, stop for a mont, soone is coming…

right behind you.”

Tao Qingqing’s body stiffened, and she slowly turned around to see a man standing behind her, dressed in a white tailcoat and wearing a green hat!

She knew this man was Dr.

Feng, who possessed the strength of the Disaster Upper Order.

He was the target of Wen Wen’s operation this ti, and she was no match for him.

Dr.

Feng curiously looked at Tao Qingqing while sitting on the experintal bench, saying, “Madam, this is an illegal intrusion.

May I know why you have done this?”

Tao Qingqing responded warily, “I’m investigating the disappearance of that Lycanthrope…”

Dr.

Feng said with sudden realization, “Oh, is that Lycanthrope your friend?

Then you should thank .

I healed its leg and made it even stronger.”

He clapped his hands lightly, and the huge culture tank housing the Lycanthrope opened.

The Lycanthrope walked out slowly, its eyes glowing green as it glared at Tao Qingqing.

“Subject 24, co et your friend.”

Upon hearing Dr.

Feng’s words, the Lycanthrope growled and charged towards Tao Qingqing.

Just before making contact, it kicked out at her from a distance, its plant-rooted thigh blossoming open to bind her.

Tao Qingqing transford into a bat, appearing behind the Lycanthrope and leaving a dozen wounds on it.

These would have been fatal for any other creature, but the Lycanthrope still unsteadily stood up and energetically rushed towards Tao Qingqing.

Dr.

Feng, taking out a small notebook, said to Tao Qingqing, “You’re quite ruthless with your friends, but the Monsters I’ve remodeled aren’t so easily defeated.”

He was already regarding Tao Qingqing as a test subject, now observing her abilities!
