Ti passed in the blink of an eye; seven days flew by.

The secret arrangents of the Hunter Association were nearing their climax, and the final battle was about to begin.

So peculiar glasses were circulating among the Demon Hunters, but they didn’t cause any commotion.

This was because those who received them in advance were highly capable and trustworthy individuals.

These Demon Hunters were carefully selected to ensure there were no issues, and they had to guard the secret strictly—never revealing the existence of the glasses, even at the cost of their lives.

The Black Night Knight thoughtfully installed a self-destruct chanism in the glasses, further reducing the risk of exposure.

Their task was to assess the entire Hunter Association before the operation, identifying who might pose a problem to ensure a lethal strike when the action comnced.

By the fourth day, all the monsters outside had been cleared, but so remained hidden, ready to attack at any mont.

At this mont, in the Golden Eagle District, within the territory of the Qiao Ai’er Family, everything seed peaceful and harmonious.

The Qiao Ai’er Family’s status in the Golden Eagle District was unquestionable.

The family housed six True Order Rank powerhouses, which accounted for half of the Golden Eagle District’s Hunter Association.

Supernatural Power cannot actually be inherited; each person’s powers are unique.

However, descendants of superpower users often have stronger inspiration and better foundations, making them more likely to awaken powers similar to their parents.

Thus, there exist families of superpower users with similar abilities, such as the Qiao Ai’er family, the Capital Xun Family, and so on.

To be precise, the Wen Family is the sa.

In the vast family territory, only George Qiao Ai’er was stationed as the True Sequence caretaker.

The other powerhouses were scattered across the Golden Eagle District, eliminating rampaging monsters. Qiao Feiya was undergoing a trial, requiring soone to stay and guard the family.

It didn’t matter if so family possessions were damaged, but Qiao Feiya’s trial could not be disturbed.

Thus, George, with his overwhelming sister complex, was there to protect his sister.

George took off a pair of black glasses—they were the Wen Wen Frenzy glasses—and sighed deeply.

He knew that many in the Qiao Ai’er Family had also been eroded by that blue-purple entity.

So of those eroded were completely unaware, while others had beco puppets, always eager to erode others at the Great Sage’s command.

George saw all of this but had to pretend to be ignorant until he received orders.

He couldn’t even rescue each soon-to-be-eroded family mber, a situation that pained him greatly.

However, George was a competent Demon Hunter; he knew when and what he had to do.

Suddenly, George received a call from a Demon Hunter, informing him of a new monster moving toward the Qiao Ai’er Family’s territory.

With the monster’s speed, it would soon reach the shores of the lake where Qiao Feiya was undergoing the trial.

George’s expression shifted, and he imdiately flew in the direction indicated by the Demon Hunter. After covering so distance, he saw a monster charging toward them.

It was a gigantic, elephant-like creature, its back covered with dust and sprouting with scattered plants.

This giant elephant wasn’t adorned with flashy skills like other monsters, but its defense was stronger and its weight more exaggerated. That made each step leave a deep pit in the ground, causing tremors equivalent to an eighth-magnitude earthquake all around, akin to a moving catastrophe.

"Ugh, how did this thing get here? What rotten luck."

George cursed under his breath and made a call, seeking assistance from the Great Magician Hailin.

Their family had a good relationship with Hailin, and given a monster attack like this, Hailin would surely lend a hand.

However, he was puzzled when the call was t with the ssage: ’Sorry, the number you have dialed is temporarily unavailable...’

This modern technology was sowhat unreliable, so George tried various thods, yet none could reach Hailin.

With no other choice, George had to confront the giant elephant himself. After all, he was a True Order Rank strongman and even if he couldn’t break the elephant’s defense, he should at least slow its progress.

He had already notified the rest of the family, who would co to aid imdiately.

It didn’t matter if so family items and property were destroyed by the monster, but Qiao Feiya’s trial must not be disrupted.

Qiao Feiya’s trial was underground, and if tremors from this beast affected it, there would be chaos.

"You better co out soon; I’m not sure how long I can hold on."

As the enormous creature approached slowly, George took a deep breath, raised his shield, and golden light bathed upon it.

The golden light transford into a shield’s shadow, expanding into a massive fifty-ter-high shield, poised directly in front of the giant elephant.

According to the Association’s intelligence, the direction of these giant elephants was fixed; even if diverted midway, they would return to their original path.

Therefore, to delay them, the best strategy was to confront them directly.

Rumble...

The giant elephant collided with the shield, its movent finally slowing down, though still advancing.

George emitted golden light, facing the colossal beast alone. The elephant angrily attacked the shield with its ivory and trunk, producing piercing sounds as their clash wreaked havoc on the surroundings.

But as ti dragged on, George began to feel strained, and despite so family mbers’ attempts to deter the beast, their efforts were insignificant.

After all, they were using a limited Superpower, unable to injure the enemy, and rely releasing energy was exhausting.

Whereas the giant elephant’s forward montum relied solely on its brute physical strength.

The giant elephant continued advancing, eventually reaching the small lake where Qiao Feiya’s trial took place; its heavy steps causing the lake water to tremble.

Whatever lay within the lake was undoubtedly affected.

George’s eyes were bloodshot, blood trickling from the corners of his mouth, his armor beginning to fragnt piece by piece, as his strength waned, but he refused to give up. Even burning his life force, he was determined to hold on till the end.

Just as the giant elephant’s foot was about to step into the lake, a golden sword light shot out from the water, slicing toward the elephant’s head.

The trendous force behind the sword light was beyond the giant elephant’s resistance, sending its colossal body soaring through the air, and when it crashed back down, it erupted like a Super Bomb, raising a cloud of dust...

In that mont, a slender hand rested on George’s shoulder, preventing him from collapsing.
