The Black Night Knight picked up that pair of glasses and noticed a set of barely discernible runes etched along the edge of the lenses, with a wisp of red aura slowly swirling within.
He put the glasses on and instantly found that everything in front of him had changed; everything beca extrely twisted as if the world was filled with malice.
"You an, using this can reveal who’s been corrupted?"
"This power gives one a bad feeling, and it does indeed bear so resemblance to the power on Ye Haimo."
Wen Wen explained to the Black Night Knight, "Most of the Supernatural Power cos from the eight Supre Overlords of the Inner World, as you should know."
"In the real world, most of the power used by monsters cos from seven of the Supre Overlords, and the power of the eighth overlord rarely appears."
"And the power the Great Sage uses to corrupt superpower users cos from that one Supre Overlord."
The Black Night Knight’s face changed: "You an... the Naless King!"
Wen Wen nodded, "The power in these glasses, which I call Frenzy, also cos from the Naless King, so these glasses can see the power of the Great Sage."
"I recomnd you take these glasses out later for a look; the scene will be unforgettable for life."
Wearing Wen Wen’s glasses, the Black Night Knight flew out from his base and saw the blue-purple threads, and at the end of those threads, in the direction of the Oceania District, a huge blue-purple shadow.
He silently watched for a while before descending from the sky.
"I will hasten the mass production of these glasses; we don’t have much ti left."
Wen Wen nodded, "You only need to make the lenses and the runes on them, and then I will inject the Frenzy."
Then the Black Night Knight quickly scanned his employees with these glasses and ultimately found that none of the ordinary employees were corrupted; about one-tenth of the superpower user employees were corrupted by the Great Sage.
He called back all the uncorrupted employees to the factory and began production of Wen Wen’s glasses at full speed.
The materials needed for the glasses are simple; the only complex part is the rune used to store Frenzy, which the factory of the Black Night Knight can easily produce.
Once a sufficient number of glasses are mass-produced, Wen Wen will then inject them with Frenzy.
However, carving the runes takes so ti, so Wen Wen and the Black Night Knight continued to research the power of the Great Sage together.
"How is Ye Haimo doing?" the Black Night Knight asked.
He knew that Wen Wen had sent Ye Haimo to an odd place, which probably was Wen Wen’s trump card, and by now, Ye Haimo should have woken up.
Wen Wen subrged his consciousness into the Sanctuary and found Ye Haimo awake in the cell, looking a bit uneasy at the dark cell.
Especially after seeing the tragic state of the other two Catastrophe-level monsters and the occasional passing of Bai Mo, he felt increasingly disturbed.
However, in Wen Wen’s eyes, the blue-purple aura on him disappeared, leaving only a faint mark on his neck.
Wen Wen released Ye Haimo from the Sanctuary, and upon seeing Wen Wen and the Black Night Knight, his face imdiately lit up.
"How are you here? I was taken to a terrifying place before, and there..."
Before he could finish the sentence, Ye Haimo rolled his eyes, and the faint mark on his neck sprouted blue-purple tentacles, his gaze becoming increasingly dangerous.
Wen Wen quickly grabbed him again, shook his head at the Black Night Knight, and said, "It seems his symptoms are only slightly relieved when captured by ; once he returns to reality, he will be controlled by the Great Sage again."
This is not good news because it ans the Catastrophe-level experts corrupted by the Great Sage, although not in mortal danger, cannot continue to fight.
Moreover, it’s still uncertain whether they will return to normal after the Great Sage’s demise, perhaps they will have to stay in Wen Wen’s Sanctuary for life.
The two researched again and discovered new findings.
That is, there are two groups that are not subjected to the Great Sage’s corruption.
One is the Containnt Officers of the Sanctuary; since the Great Sage began corrupting, people have started disappearing from the Sanctuary, yet there hasn’t been a single case of corruption control.
This Wen Wen understands because they are protected by the Sanctuary’s forces, making it challenging for the Great Sage to complete corruption.
The other group is ordinary people without powers.
Perhaps because the Great Sage disdains doing so, but none being corrupted seems sowhat strange.
So Wen Wen and the Black Night Knight experinted with so death-row inmates.
Ultimately, they discovered that the Great Sage’s power could indeed corrupt ordinary people; given ordinary people’s power, there’s no reason why they could resist the Great Sage’s power.
But nowadays, ordinary people have ’Qi’ within their bodies, which is the manifestation of spiritual power and bodily strength; once corrupted, Qi dissipates.
After Qi disappears, people quickly beco listless, with sunken eye sockets and darkened skin, emitting a foul odor, visible to the naked eye that they have been corrupted.
Wen Wen suddenly recalled what Vice President Srexin had said at the ti.
To safely resolve this catastrophe with the best outco, it relies on the New Human Project.
In retrospect, this prophecy seems very accurate; if the Great Sage could recklessly corrupt ordinary people, with the stealthy nature of this power, even if victory is achieved eventually, only a tenth of ordinary people might survive.
"While producing the glasses, let’s first check on our Judicators, hoping Ye Haimo is the only one corrupted; otherwise, the consequences could be calamitous."
The two exchanged a glance and simultaneously boarded Wen Wen’s Black Moon, swiftly flying to other Catastrophe-level experts’ locations to check them one by one.
Those found corrupted were temporarily marked, and those not corrupted were inford of the truth.
In just one day, they had visited all the Catastrophe-level experts on the side of the Association.
The results were not optimistic; besides Ye Haimo, others had already been corrupted.
These individuals were unaware, but once a command from the Great Sage cos, they will turn into enemies of the Hunters Association.
The most serious case was the Snake God Kurkan; unlike Ye Haimo, who was rely influenced in will, he was already completely corrupted both internally and externally by the blue-purple power.
Kurkan was a deity born from belief, and all the indigenous residents who believed in him were corrupted by the Great Sage, which affected Kurkan...
