Wen Wen and the other two chatted enthusiastically while advancing through the eerie Black Forest.

The trees, which had eyes, ears, mouths, and noses, listened and relayed the information straight to Egger.

Upon hearing that they were three Jianghu figures, the wariness in Egger’s eyes diminished slightly.

Nonetheless, for safety, Egger found soone relatively lucid to ask about the trio’s information.

It turned out that they were martial arts legends whose fa spread across the Jianghu, though few had seen their true faces.

Master Wen, the Chrysanthemum Inspector, Qi Feikui the Hero of Dayang, and Qiao Xuanxin the Sliding Goddess.

It’s said their martial prowess reached the Transformative Realm; in their era, they were unmatched. They secluded themselves in Jianghu, indifferent to worldly affairs, only erging now to confront this catastrophe threatening the Jianghu.

Although folklore paints these heroes as divine, Egger scoffed at the notion.

There was also a guy nad Liu Zunrong in the Federation with exaggerated legends, yet his real abilities might be laughable.

No matter how strong they were, could they really wield a forty-ter saber casually? Could they move mountains and fill seas?

Across Da Song Jianghu, the only place Egger even remotely considered was Gou’s Sword Manor, potentially equivalent to the Capital Xun Family.

Besides that, the city’s martial world was all child’s play for Egger.

The so-called martial arts legends struggled to deal with Wolf Demons or Tiger Demons, yet Egger could crush dozens with a flick of a finger.

Having figured out their identities, Egger was less concerned.

Still, while they weren’t worth much notice, they had so skills, perhaps enough to overco Black Forest monsters and mists and arrive at Corpse Manor.

Let them savor the delusion of strength for now, for once they reach Corpse Manor, they’ll see true despair.

These Breakthrough-Level martial artists, trained in New Reclining Corpse Technique and so ’minor’ modifications, would make quality henchn.

After advancing so distance, the surrounding trees began to unleash profanities, driving Wen Wen to fury.

These trees couldn’t probe Wen Wen and the others’ thoughts, so they insulted them like fishwives, saying whatever ca to mind.

Though it’s said adults tolerate a lot, even clay figures burn with anger, and Wen Wen was not one to silently endure such abuse.

Yet the trees were too resilient, fitting the persona Wen Wen had, leaving him helpless against them.

So Wen Wen stood with hands on hips and hurled insults at the trees, even neglecting the journey.

Wen Wen, having systematically studied how to curse specifically to surpass Iyeta, couldn’t believe these ancient demon trees stood a chance against him.

But after a few minutes, tables turned; these freak trees learned Wen Wen’s insults, using his own words against him, and Wen Wen, having only one mouth, was quickly left dumbfounded.

Black Night Knight and Qiao Feiya didn’t want to waste ti here, so they grabbed Wen Wen and tried to lead him out, only for so trees to switch to attacking them.

"You with the bushy beard, why do you look like a wild boar, oh sorry, I shouldn’t have insulted pigs."

"Hey lady, why don’t you take off your hat, afraid you’re too ugly? Don’t worry about getting married, even a pile of dung ets a dung beetle soday..."

The pair’s expressions stiffened, and Black Night Knight swung his axe, roaring, "Wait till I kill every one of you within three days, I’ll leave not even a leaf - that’s my promise."

Qiao Feiya was already raising her sword to strike.

Finally, Wen Wen forcibly dragged them away; all three emanating terrifying killing intent, ignoring the trees’ foul mouth.

Demons lurking in the shadows were subdued by this deadly aura, avoiding any ambushes along their way.

Just as the trio neared Corpse Manor, a creature resembling a car accident victim quietly attempted a rear sneak attack.

As soon as it extended a claw, the three turned like lightning, glaring viciously at the monster.

Wen Wen held ’steel needles’ in both hands, swiftly puncturing every spherical part on the monster, including its eyes.

Qiao Feiya swung her sword, slicing the monster into three pieces.

Black Night Knight swung two large axes, slicing the creature like minced at.

"Darn it, I’m pissed!"

When the monster no longer had a recognizable shape, the trio finally exhaled, relieved to have vented the anger accumulated at the insulting trees.

After that, they proceeded smoothly, with no creature daring to test their mood.

Arriving at Corpse Manor, they exchanged a glance, drawing a cold breath.

To ordinary people, Corpse Manor appeared as just an eerie village.

But to them, it was a massive living entity, with resentnt in the air seeming almost tangible, impossible to imagine how many lives were lost here.

Wen Wen stepped onto the soil of Corpse Manor, finding the ground soft, as if saturated with water beneath, and when he jabbed a steel needle into the ground, dark red blood spurted out.

From the tiny hole, a dark red tendril erged, with a miniature human hand on the tip, scratching futilely before retracting.

This sight darkened Wen Wen’s expression, retracting his foot from Corpse Manor’s soil, stepping back several paces, exchanging a knowing look with Black Night Knight and Qiao Feiya.

"Egger must be thoroughly dealt with this ti; leaving him is too dangerous!"

Qiao Feiya agreed deeply, and Black Night Knight had always intended this.

He was committed to eliminating monsters or superpower users posing great threats to the Federation. Originally, the greatest threat in Profane Blood was the previous Divine Blood Holder, Galax.

However, after Egger’s ascension, his threat level far exceeded Galax, prompting Black Night Knight to pursue Egger urgently.

Generally, Catastrophe-Level experts from secret organizations disdain mass slaughter of ordinary people.

Just as people generally don’t bother exterminating ants unless disturbed, killing just a few if seen.

But Egger was different; his ability twisted flesh and life, slaughtering ordinary people enhanced his power, making Egger’s re existence a catastrophe, necessitating his elimination by Black Night Knight.
