The war between the Alliance Army and Duke Simon’s Mansion over the mine vein territory dispute ended with a great victory for the allied forces.
The news quickly spread across all major territories of the Old Continent.
This also marked the first ti the proud Dragon Descendants of the Southern Continent witnessed the terrifying dominance of the chanical Legion on the battlefield.
Catherine Carter led the chanical Legion to attack the Shadow Teeth Fortress, and even though the Simon Family had a top-level card master and a nine-story magic tower for defense, it still fell within half a day. There was simply no ti for enemy reinforcents to co to aid.
Afterward, the allied forces relentlessly destroyed and captured all the major cities in Duke Simon’s territory one after another.
Not a single city could withstand the brutal assault of the iron tide.
It was all about long-range cannons destroying city defenses, with the chanical Legion sweeping through the city to crush everything.
Once this news spread, only then did the Dragon Descendants realize the huge difference between the chanical Legion in conquering territories and traditional magic equipnt.
Of course, what terrified the lords most was still the news of the Ninth Tier Green Dragon being slain!
In the Southern Continent, pureblood dragons hold the highest status.
Originally, if a pureblood dragon were killed, the perpetrator would inevitably be sought out by the Holy Church, and the entire Dragon Clan and the Three Great Kingdoms would concentrate their forces to eradicate this rebellious faction.
However, now the Holy Church was busy dealing with their own troubles, and the Three Great Kingdoms were embroiled in mutual conflicts, leaving them no ti to care about matters on the Old Continent.
Even though so lords on the Old Continent had pureblood dragon backgrounds, they dared not show their faces now.
With the "Plague Dragon" Redgred being slain, let alone others.
This deterred the lords pioneering on the Old Continent from daring to covet the allied forces, steering clear for fear of provoking that invincible iron tide.
...
The Alliance Army used this "Red Ridge Mountain Campaign" to establish a long period of stable developnt in the future.
It was also a formal staking of their claim.
Announcing the ownership of large tracts of land near the Shadow Teeth Fortress.
With the destruction of Duke Simon’s Mansion, other lords fled far away.
With so much unclaid wasteland on the Old Continent, there’s no need to provoke such a powerful enemy.
In the following days, the allied forces focused on harvesting and eradicating the remnants of Duke Simon’s forces.
In addition to population and territory, they also seized massive amounts of materials.
This alleviated the huge gap in resource developnt for the allied forces.
Moreover, the benefits of this war were still fernting.
After witnessing the terror of chanical equipnt, the lords of the Old Continent were even more eager to acquire these "cost-effective" weapons of war.
Even those lords who were previously on the sidelines beca fearful. They had upheld the Holy Church’s ban, viewing all chanical technology as a flood beast.
But now, with surrounding lords openly or covertly equipping themselves with chanical armies, those who didn’t follow suit would get beaten.
Unless they were willing to abandon their hard-won territories, cities built with countless financial and resource investnts, and the population that migrated there to flee, they had no choice but to go with the flow.
But the Southern Continent was also a battlefield, so going back would be even worse.
So there’s only one way, buy! Buy! Buy!
Southern Continent nobles were definitely not short of money.
Especially those with the capability to develop and build cities on the Old Continent, they originally brought vast resources.
With plenty of money cos consumption desire, which led to an unprecedented boom for chanical deals on the Black Market.
The resources needed to cultivate a top-level card master could be used to buy mass-produced chanical products, enough to arm an entire legion.
A finished First Tier card could buy tons of bullets.
Though the overall combat effectiveness might be a bit inferior, the entry threshold was virtually zero. As long as there were enough numbers, the combat power of a legion was significant.
What the Southern Continent lacked the least were various war slaves, and chanical equipnt was the best choice for them.
On the Black Market, the demand for chanical equipnt suddenly surged.
Besides equipnt, there were also various blueprints and production lines... Anything that could be bought was being bid up to high prices.
An old, inaccurate 800mm Gustav Cannon, sothing most lords wouldn’t want in the East Wilderness as a discarded item, could now be sold on the Black Market for the price of a high-tier relic, simply because its range was three to five tis that of a Ninth Tier Magic Tower!
Not to ntion the various models of chanical Battle Armor, which were highly sought after and fought over.
The Rebel Dragon Army and the Iris, two indigenous forces of the Southern Continent, naturally had powerful networks and transford themselves into black market arms dealers.
They dumped the allied forces’ obsolete chanical equipnt and so guns and chanical arms destined to be copied sooner or later onto the market, earning fortunes.
Catherine Carter even intentionally sold a small number of Hunting God Level battle armor.
Selling three to five units to a lord allowed those Southern Continent old-tirs to witness the potential of technology, further stimulating their consumption desires.
At current Black Market prices, one stripped-down "Hunting God Level" battle armor could be exchanged for all the resources needed to nurture two or three Seventh-Order Card Masters.
This would greatly alleviate the pressure on the allied forces’ leadership regarding top-level card master materials shortages.
Moreover, top-tier chanical equipnt was all bartered.
The Southern Continent nobles had accumulated lots of magical tals, which were scarce resources for manufacturing Hunting God Armor and Titan Battle Armor.
The allied forces had previously relied on their own developnt in relics.
Not to ntion the high losses, they didn’t get much.
Now, by selling Hunting God Armor, almost every sale could bring back nearly a hundred sets of cha materials!
The lords had their own network in the Southern Continent and channels to get materials.
This ans that the entire Southern Continent was continuously providing the allied forces with top-level chanical materials.
