Chapter 1246: Chapter 384: Openly Grabbing the Moon Chapter 1246: Chapter 384: Openly Grabbing the Moon So, it’s an IN-party, huh?

Leonard Churchill watched the passion unfolding among n and won in the banquet hall’s dance floor, his lips curling into a bewitching smile.

This was far more thrilling than his undercover experiences with the Silver Moon Sect.

No need for secrecy, everything was out in the open now.

A quick scan revealed that those qualified to attend the dinner were all high-profile figures of the City of Thieves; many were big shots he had seen in newspapers.

Lady Zeliya from the Rod Comrce Guild, the second daughter from the “Iron Ore Tycoon” Jacob’s family, the youngest daughter of Count Helson, the popular opera actress Aifei…

The daughters and ladies of the upper class society usually looked good, their skin and figures well-maintained, radiant with an air of noble opulence.

Leonard swept his gaze around, spotting lightly dressed, even completely bare, exposed bodies everywhere.

The usually dignified and reserved ladies were not shy about showing off their good figures here, dancing with gentlen and chatting and laughing over glasses of wine.

The whole banquet hall was filled with a restlessness-inducing hormone scent.

Although the private lives of the Noble Circle were quite open, Leonard had never before experienced such a collective pleasure scene.

It had to be said, that approach of collecting faith through desire, as touted by the “Master of Dreams and Pleasure” Moon God, was effective for people of all classes.

After entering the door, he was just passed by a scantily dressed bunny girl carrying drinks.

Leonard called out, took a glass of wine, and found an inconspicuous sofa to sit down.

On the other sofas sat so High-Order Card Masters with calm auras, or middle-aged gentlen.

They watched the banquet hall, brimming with springti views, enjoying the pleasure without agitation, like one would enjoy a stage play.

To High-Order Card Masters, physical pleasures were actually quite base; it was ntal satisfaction that was a higher level of experience.

After all, reality always has flaws, while the world of the spirit can fulfill all fantasies.

And appropriately, the “Master of Dreams and Pleasure” Arachne could create a perfect Dreamland World.

The chandeliers hanging in the hall were ancient relics capable of emitting moonlight continuously.

Amidst enlightennt, alerts of Faith Pollution and ntal Secret Skill intrusions repeatedly resurfaced.

Leonard, however, was undaunted.

He was completely Exempt from Faith Pollution.

As for those ntal Secret Skills, they were not any sort of attack Techniques; they were purely ant to give pleasurable experiences.

He reveled in his own enjoynt, lying leisurely on the sofa, drinking his wine.

It was Leonard’s first ti attending such a party. As a new face, a beautiful matron in a simple white robe took notice of him and approached him proactively.

Her big wavy blond hair stood out, as did her exceptional looks, but what was most striking was her otherworldly poise.

To wear clothes in the banquet hall, especially attire of white base with silver patterns of such fine fabric, clearly indicated she was a high clergy of the Silver Moon Church.

As she walked over, Leonard also courteously stood up from the sofa, “I am an assistant to the Bishop of the White Dove Holy Hall, you can call Alia, welco, sir.”

Leonard gestured with his glass in a gentlemanly fashion, “It’s an honor to attend such a high-level banquet.”

Alia smiled, “Sir is not enjoying the dance?”

Leonard raised an eyelid, looking at the young n and won in the dance pool, his interest piqued, but not overly so.

Instead, he glanced at the nun before him.

Alia clearly understood the implication, her lips curving into a aningful and deep smile, “If sir wishes to invite to dance, I would be pleased to. However, I am a Divine Retainer serving the Moon God…”

Neither a refusal nor an acceptance.

A Believer is nothing different from an ordinary person except for their absolute obedience to the Will of God.

Leonard chuckled lightly, “What a pity…”

He actually knew there were hierarchies of authority within the Silver Moon Sect.

Only devout Believers were qualified to interact with high clergy.

After all, these clergy weren’t just for show; they were Transcendents themselves, blessed with Divine Powers from the Moon God. Engaging with them was not just about physical pleasure, but also about real benefits.

This was also the Silver Moon Sect’s thod of rapidly roping in High-Order Card Masters.

Leonard had already gathered clear information from the Information rchant at the tavern.

But he wasn’t here for what they called an IN-party.

Leonard went straight to the point, “I heard that the church has Contemplation Secret Techniques?”

He did not disguise his purpose.

In fact, many people here were, like him, drawn by the Silver Moon Church’s Classic Books and Secret Skills.

To quickly control the faith in the East Wilderness, even the Orlan Royal Family had pulled out Classic Books, Cultivation Techniques, Profession Card templates, and more, treasures from their vaults that had not seen the light of day for thousands of years.

Join the Silver Moon Church, and those treasures would be within easy reach.

This was a deadly temptation for those East Wilderness card masters unused to finer things.

It wasn’t just a wealth of courtly transmissions; there were the [“super tier” or “above Sixth Tier”?] and the once completely uncharted “Transcendent Realm.”

For those Legends stuck at the Seventh Rank threshold, and those Card Masters who aspired to go further on the path of transcendence, the temptation was irresistible.

After all, to ordinary people like Hunters, it was all the sa whether they sold their services to the Federation or to the Silver Moon Church.

Instead, joining the Silver Moon Church ca with tangible benefits.

Hearing Leonard’s words, Alia replied with a smile, “Of course. We have many Contemplation Techniques from various schools. But the best, of course, is one of the ‘Fifty-two Demonic God Secret Skills,’ the ‘Void Moon Mind.’ If sir doesn’t want to enjoy the ball more, then co with upstairs…”
