[System: You finally back, El Diablo.]

The System said as it was clear that he was ready to fuck up the two ladies, and of course it wasn’t because of so kind of magic or so shit happening to César that would let him wipe both of them out with a flick of his finger, nah, but it was a cheat though.

The background he gained from Group Four allowed him to fight and think like a special operator. That was the reason he had been so terrifying in the past.

Ruthlessness and zero morality, mixed with a special forces mindset and skill set, equaled sothing unstoppable, and to spice it all up, with the help of the Special Cards, he was truly a predator and now he was in that sa state.

A state where facing him was nothing short of suicide.

This feeling... being close to death still brings it out, huh. He thought as he looked at his hand, covered in blood. Or it’s because of my broken mind.

There was another side to this whole El Diablo persona, that César had gone a little insane after he experienced Sandria’s reality. Seeing dead children, dead people, severed heads and limbs, hanging bodies was enough to fuck with him, but then ca the police chief, whose goal was to just break his mind and core.

The mass murders of random civilians blad on César and the Sierra cartel plus just the reality of Sandria all made sense that César did not beco El Diablo by choice.

He beca soone who no longer cared because caring only made things worse, but with that he beca soone who did whatever was needed and killed everyone who stood in his way, and now he was ready to do this with the cute ladies.

Cute ladies who were trained killers... it was just too obvious. They had the ti and energy to put on hotel staff uniforms, and on top of that, they carried pistols with suppressors, ones they weren’t shy about using on him.

Still, César had a big advantage. They thought he was bleeding out and at least three minutes had passed, and the amount of blood on the floor told them he was either dead or, at best, barely holding on... but oh no, he was waiting.

[System: Detected footsteps around two ters away. I can count down.]

"Do it." César said, clinging to the wall in absolute silence, ready for it. He knew for sure how they were positioned, one in the front, the other behind and the front one would turn in with the pistol.

That would be his chance.

[System: One and a half ters.]

Keep quiet. César heard the steps drawing closer and closer... and there it was, the exact mont he had been waiting for.

Any firearm with a suppressor was much longer, so he waited for the suppressor to be visible and then for the woman to turn in and when she did César imdiately reached out, grabbed the suppressor, and pulled the gun while kicking out her left leg.

She imdiately slipped on the blood and fell onto her back, and in that instant, César twisted the pistol from her hand, aid at the other lady who turned to the other side, and pulled the trigger.

Five seconds, nothing more. Five seconds, and one was already dead, while the other was on the ground as César knelt on her throat.

And it was all because of their mistake or rather, the mistake of the woman he was kneeling on. She had rushed in, thinking César was bleeding out, while the second lady moved to the right side of the suite to check for anyone else..

"Hey, lady." The first two words that ca out of his mouth as he pushed the hot suppressors to her forehead. "You look desperate." That bored voice ca again as he stared at her, and the way she stared back at César was true desperation.

Desperation to fight back, to live.

"Three centiters, darling." César said again as he glanced at the lady’s right arm. She was trying to reach for the knife strapped to her leg, but it was too low, and she couldn’t reach it. "You see, three centiters is big." César continued as he reached out for the knife and pulled it from the sheath. "Damascus blade... so you’re not an agent... a contractor?"

She said nothing, because she couldn’t. Her face turned red as César kept kneeling on her throat, but to be true he already knew they weren’t agents. They had two different caliber pistols, which was just straight stupid, and then there was the Damascus blade.

Agents wouldn’t use a knife or any weapon that is unique and easy to recognize. They would use issued weapons or knives that didn’t stand out.

[System: Good job, you got her. Now cut down her head.]

"Stay on the ground," César said as he finally stood up, letting her breathe or, more struggle and not just with her breath.

They had gotten fucked up in a situation where they should have had the upper hand, when the odds were in their favor. Second, her partner had been fucking killed. And third the most mind-fucking of all was the amount of blood on the ground, yet there wasn’t a single wound on César.

She tried to understand what had happened... whose blood was on the floor, but César didn’t give her the ti to think.

"Who and why?" His voice ca with the sa bored tone, like he was disconnected from what he had just done.

"S-SS."

SS... like Hitl—

[System: Secret Service.]

Well, the other SS would have been much, much crazier, that was for sure. From a cartel ga jumping into a world war simulator.

"T-the Chief... dossier." The lady continued as she looked up at him.

Hoffa dossier... what dossier? He thought as he had no idea, he hadn’t taken any dossier, nor had he been in Hoffa’s office, but he also knew that if he asked, he would only get dragged into sothing deeper that he had no business in. System, what are you suggesting? What is the dossier?

[System: The NSA Director tried to kill you for so reason, and now the Secret Service ca for the dossier. I think there is a political motive, and maybe Hoffa kept blackmailing material on everyone he worked with, and that dossier vanished.]

Exactly what César had been thinking, and exactly why he didn’t want to ask the woman. It was better to hear it as a suggestion than face it as reality.

"You know, darling, they use outsiders for a reason." César began as he tucked the gun into his hip and held it in his right hand. "They use outsiders to hide their own tracks, so that if y’all die, there’s no problem and no connection to them. So in your next life, have so self-worth and try not to be a contractor who dies for a cause you don’t even know about."

Wh—" She couldn’t finish as the blade pierced straight between her eyes.

[System: You have earned an Achievent.]

[See the throw? – First kill with a throwing knife.] [Reward: Heal Special Card.]

"Huh... best throw I have ever made." César whispered... he was genuinely happy as it was the perfect throw, though the knife pretty much got his attention, so he stepped to her, grabbed the handle, and pulled it out like it was the fucking Excalibur, and that’s when he noticed her wallet. "Why would the Secret Service send amateurs... who the fuck brings their wallet with them to kill sobody?"

It was fucking absurd, but what was more absurd was when he opened the wallet.

"Nineteen... how is this even possible?" He was confused but d but an even bigger surprise awaited him as he turned to the other woman and grabbed her docunts.

[System: Mother and daughter.]

"A Hidden Event, huh?" César said as he looked back down at the docunt. "It would have been triggered if sohow I had caught them alive."

[System: Maybe.]

He knew it would have been exactly that, because back when Sandria was still a ga, sothing like this already existed, only it was a father and a son. A possible scenario that was quickly beca a fucking drama in the gaming scene, talked about, clipped, and argued over endlessly.

An event where you had to torture a father and his son in front of each other until one of them broke and spoke, but if that happened, then ca the twist. You had to torture the son slowly, with the worst pain possible, until he died. Only after the son was dead, and the father completely broken, would you kill him too.

But maybe the worst part of all was the voice actor who did their job the best. It was truly so horrifying scenario, their voice, every scream, every terror, every shred of agony.

Though it got removed from the ga for obvious reasons... but not from here and César knew that it would have been exactly that.

"Fucked up."

[System: At least you could have got a good card.]

"About cards..." César began, staring at the knife in his hand. "If I cut soone’s head off... I get an overpowered card, right?"

[System: You do.]
