"I see you finally believe ." César said as held eye contact with her. "So Sirina, what are we going to do?"

Indeed, she believed César... didn’t just believe him, but she was starting to feel stressed and anxious because she couldn’t deny the fact that, even if Group Four was the worst special force that had ever existed, its mbers were all highly trained in every aspect of combat. That ant the knife on the table was more than just a threat, and if he decided to attack her to get the pistol, he might actually succeed in escaping

Which also ant that her career as a director, the career she had fought so hard for... would be short-lived sothing she wasn’t willing to risk testing. Moreover, there was sothing César didn’t know or rather, sothing she had only just begun to piece together.

An answer to why everything fits so well.

Why César was there that day, why the agent saw him, why he didn’t even try to hide himself, why he is now in the police station, and lastly, why Hoffa and Peter were acting as if they were threatened, like they feared sothing.

She had gathered all the pieces of the puzzle, and finally it made sense why everything fit together so perfectly... she ca up with an answer to herself that was not just believable, but that she truly believed was the right one.

And for César’s surprise... no, it wasn’t a surprise, it was complete shock and confusion at what she said.

"Well, the warrant for the Group Four mber has already expired." She began as she carefully put her heels back on. "Which ans I have no business with you. And this little back-and-forth of threats... well, I actually found it enjoyable. It’s been a long ti since I felt this kind of pressure on ." She smiled faintly. "Though I think that’s enough for now. And I believe you’re one of them and If I’m right, I don’t want to get involved in any of it." She said this calmly, slowly rising from the chair and turning toward the door.

"What do you an?" César asked, confusion peaking at that very mont, like this whole thing had just started to escalate.

She did it at the exact mont when he could have threatened her with sothing far worse, pushed things further, maybe even earned the achievent and unlocked the Special Card... and yet, she simply stood up, ready to leave.

But to be honest, César realized that no threat would have worked anyway. She hadn’t flinched the way César wanted at the idea of being stabbed to death, or at the possibility of him shooting everyone afterward.

Still, her walking away like that made no sense to him.

"I don’t want to be involved with the DCA or any of their agents." She said calmly. "And I think you ca to this police station for the sa reason I did... fuck, you were already a step ahead of us in the entire investigation." She let out a short breath, half a laugh. "So yeah, fuck you, and fuck the DCA. I hope we never cross paths like this again."

She left... she just left, leaving behind César in his biggest confusion so far.

"What the... fuck is the DCA?" He asked as the door closed behind her.

[System: Drug Control Agency.]

[A powerful, secret governnt organization dedicated to profiting from the illegal drug market. It has been part of the ga since the beginning, but even when you were back on Earth playing on your laptop, you ignored them during gaplay.]

"Drug Control Agnecy..." César whispered as he had no fukcing idea of it though he was thinking, tiny his bets to rember anything of them.

[System Note:They are the most harmless agency to the mafia and cartels, but the most dangerous to other agencies, as they will do anything to protect their profits, even sabotaging investigations or eliminating agents and directors who threaten their operations.]

"No way... Samuel." he rembered. "Is that what he was always yapping about?"

[System: Indeed, Samuel was one of the heads of the DCA.]

"But he never said it..."

Samuel Rijisa had been very active during César’s third life, had constantly talked about numbers, how César could minimize losses and maximize profits. He had even suggested different trafficking routes, alternative thods for packing the drugs, and had stepped in to help during difficult situations.

All he had asked for in return was thirty percent of César’s inco, but what was even more remarkable was that Samuel seed like an event NPC, spawning only when the right conditions triggered him.

But now, hearing that there was a whole agency working in collaboration with the drug lords was sothing unexpected for him... and what was even more unexpected was that Sirina thought he was an agent for them, and that was why she had left.

She had misunderstood the situation so badly that all César could do was laugh. Yeah, he literally started laughing loudly in the interrogation room, even as tears ca to his eyes while he thought it all over again.

She had left because she had completely misunderstood him and it made sense to so kind.

César respawned at exactly the right mont, just as Daisy was searching for soone to help her. But at the sa ti, the NSA had already sent an agent to investigate the Chief and the police. So without knowing César walked straight into the middle of the NSA investigation, where he ended up saving Daisy’s mother, triggering a massive misunderstanding.

And it was César himself, his presence, his behavior, and the fact that he had once been part of Group Four, that finally gave Sirina the answer she had been seeking.

The final answer... that César is an agent of the DCA.

What the actual fuck is this...?

[System: One of humankind’s biggest enemies is overcomplicating. Add a man like you, already overcomplicated, into the mix, and it becos a total ss.]

So she... thinks I’m an agent from the DCA.

[System: Yes, but it won’t last long. I’m sure she will start looking into who you really are]

[Congratulations, you earned nothing from this move and only managed to make yourself a bigger enemy in the eyes of the NSA.]
