"Hmm!" The girl nodded. Then she divided the hair at the back with a comb, grabbed it with both hands, and her hair was brought to the front. Then she sat down and watched Yan Fei skillfully braid her hair.

"You’re really good at this!" The girl thought about how she hadn’t braided her hair in a long ti, and Yan Xiaofei’s technique was comndable.

Yan Xiaofei said proudly, "I’ve been practicing since I was a kid."

"Who did you practice with?" The girl’s brow furrowed, and her almond-shaped eyes widened.

"Braiding rope!" Yan Fei was focused on the braid and didn’t notice the girl’s expression. "You forgot, when I was a kid, I played with whips. I used to steal others’ hemp, leave a piece as a handle, and braid the rest into a whip. You were the one who taught how to do it initially!"

The girl suddenly fell into mory and, after a while, jokingly said, "Back then, certain soone was still wearing crotch-less pants! Almost ready for kindergarten..."

Yan Xiaofei, with his thick skin, responded, "So what? What’s wrong with showing you! You were all covered up, yet now..."

"Phooey, phooey, phooey..." The girl’s face instantly turned red from embarrassnt. "Go away, go away, I’m not letting you braid anymore!"

Actually, the braided hair was done, and once Yan Xiaofei tied it with a rubber band, she stood up and was ready to leave.

"Don’t leave!" Yan Fei reached out to hold her. "The food is ready, eat first, then talk. ng Si’an just went to sleep; don’t worry about breakfast for him."

The treatnt was different from that of ng Si’an, who stayed in bed, ’manifesting’ a table by the bedside, and ’manifesting’ breakfast right after. There were several cold and hot dishes, not to ntion a sweet lover’s jujube and apple porridge, and a few specially flavored hotown pumpkin pancakes.

Yan Fei proudly said, "Let’s eat!"

The pumpkin is from the hotown, the jujubes too, although not from the old yard’s jujube tree, it’s similar. The apples were procured when Secretary Jiao was around, and ever since they were planted in the prehistoric world, a bunch of expert scholars researched extensively and couldn’t figure out why, but the apples that grew after were extra large, round, and sweet.

One could only say Secretary Jiao was unlucky, or Tanghe County was a peculiar place, causing much hatred when these fruit saplings were first introduced.

...

The next day, ng Si’an got up and jumped on the bed a couple of tis, realizing it was just as Yan Fei said; after a good night’s sleep, all discomfort was gone!

Stepping out of the door, he saw the scorching sun.

With a glance, he noticed Yanfei sitting under the blazing sun, as if he wasn’t affected at all. At that mont, he felt various degrees of envy and jealousy—what kind of monster physique could remain unhard under such sun?

Enthusiastically greeted Old Chen, who was rushing with the phone, and squeezed over to ask Yan Fei, "Why are you alone, where’s your wife?"

"Over there!" Yan Fei pointed with his hand.

ng Si’an looked and looked again, finally realizing that the woman busy in a small vegetable garden, wearing a straw hat and rolling up her sleeves under the hot sun was actually the boss’s wife.

Were it not for the black pearl bracelet shining on her wrist in the sunlight, he really had trouble recognizing her.

At that mont, he felt indignant for the girl, "You’re ruthless, being so wealthy and still letting your wife do farm work? Aren’t you worried she’ll get tanned?"

Yan Fei replied with drooping eyelids, "She’s been doing it for a while and hasn’t gotten much darker. She enjoys it, I support her, how’s that your business?"

The thick scent of dog food left ng Si’an speechless; after half a day, he weakly sighed, "I’m hungry, at least I’m a guest, and you’re not giving anything to eat?"

"Lunch’s ready!" Yan Fei looked at the sun and gestured towards the kitchen area in the distance. "Soone’s already preparing the al, don’t you think, as a guest, you should at least wash your face?"

"Make sure to tell them to cook my prey. I want to eat kangaroo at, hunted by myself." ng Si’an explained and left, uninterested in their lovey-dovey show. What sort of people are these, who don’t get tanned...

Actually, the girl’s arms had beco a bit darker but not noticeably so. Her skin was naturally good, and she could soak in hot springs in the prehistoric world anyti!

...

After eating, ng Si’an was perky again, "Let’s go, let’s go, continue hunting. Can we catch prey during the day?"

There was no need to even ask this; Yan Fei replied, "Yes, but you have to drive further. If that doesn’t work, you can go over by the bauxite or small iron mines. There are no people there, unexploited lands are more, and hunting is unrestricted."

Rich dude!

Inwardly, ng Si’an couldn’t help but grumble, always thinking his family was well-off; now realizing just how poor he was, almost impossibly impoverished.

Look at them, younger than him, yet already owning three mines and nurous large and small ranches.

The key point was that he owned the mines without managing them, just leaving them as wastelands with abundant prey for hunting—he knew all about the mine purchases very clearly, it was in the news, with prices detailed comprehensively.

"Is it far?" Upon asking, ng Si’an’s heart felt desolate, like a drought-stricken crop without rain for half a month, not just wilting but thoroughly dried.

"Not far, not far, but horseback riding is out; you have to drive there," Yan Fei said.

"You take the rcedes, Old Cui and I will take a pickup and follow, to avoid leaving the gifts behind," Heizi suggested. "Brother Fei, show your skills, since we have many people now, no fear about having too much prey."

Saying this, he called out to Old Cui, "Old Cui, let’s take the pickup, wanna team up with ?"

What a rich dude!

ng Si’an continued grumbling, hunting with a rcedes, pickups being Fords, and other transportation vehicles lined up—a whole row. Even those provided for workers, casually taken ho, starting at hundreds of thousands.

Even knowing that it’s cheaper to buy cars here, Xiao ng couldn’t help but complain.

Let’s go hunting, let vent my infinite disdain for the rich dude on the prey!
