After getting up at noon on the third day... well, that’s right, the third day.

I had been at the ranch for a while, spending a few more days with Director Lin, and finished selling the cows, feeling completely relaxed. So now, it’s ti to ’catch up on so sleep’, and in between, I also discussed Xu Xiaoyan’s advertising ideas.

But today, I can’t stay at the hotel any longer, Yan Fei has a gathering to attend.

It was sothing agreed upon on the cattle-selling day, the association president Patrick invited Yan Fei to attend an association council eting—a formality really, the main purpose is to welco new council mbers, for everyone to get together and get acquainted.

Yan Fei originally thought it was just a small gathering, but upon arrival, realized his expectations were too simple.

There really were quite a lot of people, not a dinner-style gathering, but more western-like. Everyone was wandering around with wine glasses, and Patrick was taking Yan Fei and Xu Xiaoyan around the hall, introducing him to a group of council mbers first.

Then there was a large group of experts and leaders in the industry, including the sa experts as those who attended the auction last ti... such as Benjamin, Justin, Kent, and Kirk.

These experts are quite grounded; so of their research is private, so public. But even the public ones can accept private donations for private projects.

Everyone’s common goal is currently to prevent mad cow disease from entering Australia. Even for research, it’s done in laboratories on certain islands, decidedly not bringing it onto the mainland to avoid problems.

In this regard, there’s no doubt everyone is here to ensure the sustainable developnt of the industry. Secondly, to ensure the dostic livestock industry does not face serious infectious diseases; if small problems arise, there’s imdiate mobilization to nip them in the bud.

They study issues occurring in other parts of the world and develop effective preventive thods for major disease problems, which everyone follows together.

In short, there may be competition within the industry, but issues that could affect the entire industry must be addressed collectively. At tis, there are even ’prefer safe over sorry’ policies, consensually agreed upon.

Of course, there are other considerations at this gathering, such as trying to understand so of Yan Fei’s inclinations. These are necessary; it’s impossible for him to beco a council mber and remain completely indifferent, with all council mbers treated equally. If so of his views don’t align with the group, he’ll likely be marginalized in the future—although these people are seasoned veterans and won’t make it too obvious.

If their views are similar, that’s good news! Ultimately, it’s an association, and their purpose is the sa, to develop the industry well, while minimizing political entanglents.

In Australia, the association is also a behemoth, so it must maintain as neutral a position as possible to prioritize industry developnt. A neutral position allows them to maintain friendly relations with any ruling party, thereby better serving the industry.

Moreover, it’s essential to make Yan Fei feel welcod and encourage his developnt.

That’s about it for now. Regarding his fattening techniques, so will certainly be interested, but they absolutely cannot be obtained through regular ans. This is a shared understanding, even concerning cow breeds, the ranch will strictly control them, since no one is a fool—just like a beverage company keeping its formula secret for years to stay at the industry’s pinnacle.

For now, others seem quite reassured.

Yan Fei simply chatted with a few big ranch owners in the industry, and then... got more and more enthusiastic chatting with a group of experts!

Not everyone has a photographic mory, supported by, if not a world-class, at least a top-notch research team—Boss Yan’s dinosaur world’s experts are no slackers either.

In so aspects of farming research, and disease prevention and treatnt, his hard-working experts are not weak.

Especially in cloning technology, Yan experts are at the forefront of the world—compared to the Australian experts, he’s not much behind, and many of his insights are enlightening to local experts.

Of course, these people will never know that those insights and technologies are completed by a team potentially larger than even their research institutes.

Initially, Patrick was standing with a few association council mbers, smiling and quietly listening, but before long, they found they couldn’t quite understand what was being discussed.

This includes the ranch owners as well, and they had to ask soone more professional nearby to explain.

Yan Fei even showcased the cattle slaughtering techniques he learned before, where they use electric shock in Australia. Yan Fei, on the other hand, used a small tool, even just a screwdriver, to sever the cow’s entire nervous system.

The reasoning behind it was clear to everyone once explained, but no one thought of doing it before it was ntioned.

Yan Fei explained, "Where I was before, it was a relatively underdeveloped agricultural village, and we hadn’t thought of using electric shock. So, I developed a thod to slaughter cattle that makes it less painful while maintaining beef quality."
