"Boom"

The two alchemical ships collided violently, the intense shockwaves reverberating through both ships, causing everyone on board to lose their footing.

Red Fla stood at the bow, gripping the railing tightly, his eyes fixed on Carlotta and Alia, but he dared not jump onto the Moonlight.

Jumping into the enemy’s alchemical ship to fight would be suicidal, he wasn’t one of those strongn who had surpassed the Listeners.

All he could do was have the Blazing Fla deplete the Moonlight’s stored magic power. Only when the magic power was exhausted could the pirates swarm in and secure victory.

When alchemical ships don’t have an absolute advantage, this is the only thod.

But Carlotta and Alia had no intention of dragging it out.

"Carlotta, when will the Magic Whale arrive?"

Alia asked in a low voice.

"Soon, the Magic Whale isn’t far away."

Carlotta could sense the Magic Whale’s location.

"Later, we’ll have the Magic Whale hold off this alchemical ship. We need to leave quickly and not waste ti here."

Alia said.

Carlotta nodded.

Before the Magic Whale arrived, the Moonlight could only engage in an intense alchemical ship battle with the Blazing Fla.

The cannons on both sides fired continuously, and from ti to ti, the ships collided directly. The roaring sounds echo between the sky and the sea, the water boiling and splashing, with large amounts of water falling like rain everywhere.

After about three minutes of such fighting, Carlotta felt a stir in her heart, sensing the arrival of the Magic Whale.

"It’s here."

Carlotta said softly.

Alia imdiately took control of the Moonlight, making the alchemical ship charge at full speed to one side, intending to break through the surrounding pirate ships and escape.

Seeing this, Red Fla sneered, planning imdiately to have the Blazing Fla intercept the Moonlight. But the next mont, his expression changed.

"Boom!"

The Magic Whale surged up from the depths of the sea, slamming into the Blazing Fla from below, causing it to stagger and disrupting its original movent.

"What is that?"

Red Fla quickly used the Blazing Fla to sense the underwater area, only to find a terrifyingly powerful Magic Whale there, continuing to attack the Blazing Fla, causing one shockwave after another.

He didn’t know why such a high-level Magic Whale would appear at this mont, but he felt extrely uneasy. He quickly looked up at the Moonlight and shouted loudly.

"Stop them, don’t let them escape!"

The surrounding pirate ships, even facing an alchemical ship, had to co forward.

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The Moonlight’s energy cannons fired in all directions, one shot after another hitting the surroundings, causing the seawater to splash high into the air. One pirate ship after another had its mast broken, sinking into the sea.

In the process, many pirates were caught in the crossfire and killed on the spot, their blood splattering on the sea, creating a particularly grueso scene.

There’s a saying that has always been passed down in the Starlight sea: only an alchemical ship can deal with another alchemical ship. This refers to battles between pirates; magical creatures naturally don’t count.

Now, the Magic Whale was entangled with the Blazing Fla. Although it could only hold it off and not defeat it, this was enough to create an opportunity for the Moonlight to escape.

The Moonlight was like a beast of the sea, charging recklessly, forcefully breaking through the surrounding pirate ships, leaving a trail of wreckage and floating bodies on the sea behind it.

Carlotta just glanced back, then turned her gaze away.

An alchemical ship is hard to defeat, even with the Magic Whale, it will take a long ti. Rather than that, it’s better to leave.

As long as the Moonlight left, the Magic Whale could dive into the deep sea to protect itself, and that wouldn’t be a problem.

The Moonlight Sailed Away.

Seeing this, Red Fla on the Blazing Fla was furious. He wanted to break free from the magic whale and have the Blazing Fla chase after it, but the magic whale’s attacks grew increasingly fierce, firmly holding the Blazing Fla in place, making it impossible for him to escape for the mont.

As for the other pirate ships, they had no ability to stop the Moonlight. After being scattered by the collision, they could only watch helplessly as the Moonlight sailed farther away.

When the Moonlight disappeared from sight, the enraged Red Fla finally turned his attention to the magic whale, determined to destroy the creature to vent his hatred.

But the magic whale seed to have received so commands. With a flick of its tail, it dove into the depths of the ocean, leaving Red Fla to glare in frustration.

While alchemical ships had strong combat capabilities, they were ultimately limited to the surface of the sea and lacked the ability to dive, at least the Blazing Fla did.

Seeing the magic whale escape, Red Fla imdiately steered the Blazing Fla in the direction the Moonlight had gone.

However, after chasing for a full hour, he still couldn’t find any trace of the Moonlight in the vast sea.

This left Red Fla almost mad with anger, yet there was nothing he could do.

...

After shaking off the Blaze Pirate Crew, Carlotta and Alia both breathed a sigh of relief. They weren’t afraid of this pirate fleet, but being entangled with them would definitely not be a good thing.

"This journey south isn’t going to be simple either."

Alia murmured softly.

Not only did they have to watch out for pursuers like Alistair, but the thousands of pirates on the Starlight sea were also a concern.

Carlotta understood this as well and could only steer the Moonlight in a direction, away from the coastline and northeast closer to the Forbidden Sea.

Pirates generally didn’t approach the Forbidden Sea, as their purpose was to plunder rchant sailing, and rchant ships would avoid far from the coast if they could.

Of course, this didn’t an that the waters near the Forbidden Sea were completely safe, as there were still many pirates searching for the Rose Pirate Crew, and these pirates wouldn’t be limited to coastal waters.

Still, regardless, the chances of encountering pirates were lower when closer to the Forbidden Sea.

Another day passed in the blink of an eye.

Night once again fell over the Starlight sea, and the ocean shimred with brilliant lights, making it feel as though they were sailing through the stars.

Carlotta stood on the deck, gazing at the dazzling night scene, feeling as though a lifeti had passed.

Just last night, she had been happily playing cards with Alia in the card house at Wales Castle. Yet in the blink of an eye, she and Alia were now on the run.

It just goes to show how unpredictable life could be.

"You should get so sleep tonight, Alia. They probably won’t catch up."

Carlotta said to Alia.

"I can’t sleep. If you’re tired, you can go ahead and rest."

Alia shook her head.

"Then forget it..."

If Alia wasn’t sleeping, Carlotta obviously couldn’t rest easy either.

Truth be told, everything that had happened had kept her emotions highly tense for a long ti, and her mind had been on edge. This ant that even after two days and a night without sleep, she still didn’t feel drowsy.

She took out her clock card and checked the ti. Seeing that it was only 8 PM, she felt a bit restless. She was waiting for midnight, eager to see what kind of information she would receive once the day passed.

For Carlotta, this waiting process was sowhat agonizing. She didn’t know what information she would receive, whether it would be bad news or good news. The uncertainty leaves her feeling uneasy.

"What’s wrong, Carlotta? Are you nervous?"

Alia noticed the change in Carlotta’s expression and asked with concern.

"A little bit."

Carlotta had wanted to say she was fine, but such a lie would be easily seen through, so she decided not to pretend.

Alia gently hugs Carlotta, "Don’t worry, I’ll always be by your side."

Carlotta pursed her lips and nodded.

Indeed, feeling Alia’s presence made Carlotta feel much more at ease.

She relaxed and leaned into Alia’s embrace. Alia didn’t refuse, allowing Carlotta to rest against her.

Neither of them spoke further, simply sitting quietly on the deck, watching the Starlight sea rise and fall.

In such a mont, the passage of ti beca almost imperceptible.

Carlotta found herself thinking about many things, both the past and the future.

By the ti Carlotta snapped out of her thoughts, it was already midnight.

She silently summoned the information panel in her mind and scanned it.

[ 1: Alistair Carlisle is growing anxious as he continued to fail in finding Carlotta. Fortunately, along the way, he occasionally encountered pirates who have seen Carlotta’s alchemical ship. These pirates guided him, which slightly eased his mind, as he believed he will eventually catch up to Carlotta.]

Seeing this piece of information, Carlotta was montarily stunned, but then she understood.

Although she had roughly guessed how Alia would use the pirates she had recruited, it was only now that she confird her suspicions.

Those pirates were ant to mislead their pursuers.

If they kept misleading Alistair and the others like this, the pursuers would only get farther and farther away. Did this an she was already safe?

Thinking about how Alia had worked quietly so hard for her, Carlotta felt a warmth in her heart, and her sense of security reached its peak.

[ 2: The news of Carlotta kidnapping Alia and escaping from Wales Castle has spread. Although the empire’s main focus is on the war against the Velmoria Empire, they have still allocated so attention to this matter. Imperial officials have now dispatched the navy into the Starlight sea, determined to capture Carlotta, the criminal.]

Carlotta took a sharp breath.

The navy was on the move!

This cast a shadow over her heart once again.

Even the Pirate King, as powerful as he was, had ultimately t his end at the hands of the navy. The empire’s navy was not sothing to be taken lightly.

Although the current navy might not be as formidable as it was during the Pirate King’s ti, she, Carlotta White, was far from being as powerful as the Pirate King.

She absolutely could not run into the imperial navy!

After so thought, Carlotta took out the magic whale horn and summoned the magic whale. She planned to have the magic whale guard the southwestern direction, as any naval forces would likely co from the direction of the land, the southwest.
