Alia reviewed the operations of Wales Castle and, finding no issues, headed back to the Moonlight.

After arriving in Wales Castle, neither she nor Carlotta used the Illusion Mask anymore. Now, walking the streets of Wales Castle with her real appearance, people couldn’t help but marvel at the Creator’s ingenuity for allowing such a beautiful girl to exist in the world.

While marveling, the citizens didn’t forget that Alia was now the head of Wales Castle and respectfully saluted her before stepping aside.

Soon, Alia arrived at the harbor, her gaze falling on the Moonlight. She imdiately spotted Carlotta on the deck.

Carlotta was wearing a black, puffy dress with a wavy hemline. The neckline and cuffs were adorned with layers of lace, paired with black stockings and black round-toe shoes decorated with black bows, making Carlotta look like a delicate porcelain doll.

Alia was montarily stunned until she saw Carlotta waving at her, then she boarded the deck.

"Alia, co here."

Carlotta walked towards the nearest cabin, and Alia followed.

Once inside the cabin and ensuring no one would notice, Carlotta took out all the alchemy ship blueprints, stacking them into a small wall.

"What’s this..."

Alia was taken aback.

Carlotta said, "Alia, you take these blueprints. My storage card can’t hold so many things."

Feeling the storage card now had a lot of free space, Carlotta felt much more comfortable.

Alia, however, was slightly shaken. She picked up a blueprint and imdiately knew what they were, these were the treasures of the Pirate King!

Such important items, and Carlotta just handed them over to her like that?

Perhaps her storage card was indeed too crowded to hold so many blueprints, but anyone else would never hand over such precious blueprints for this reason.

Even other noble children, or even mbers of the imperial family, wouldn’t so generously hand over these blueprints.

Alia took a deep breath and said seriously, "Carlotta, these blueprints are extrely important. Are you sure you want to keep them?"

Carlotta smiled, "Isn’t it obvious? Just take them. You can even store the Moonlight, so these blueprints won’t take up any space with you."

"...I understand."

Alia stopped being coy.

As she stored these extrely precious blueprints, Alia felt her heart beat a little faster.

Although she couldn’t gather enough materials to build this alchemy ship either, the value of the blueprints still made it hard to stay calm.

’Carlotta... does she really trust this much?’

Alia thought to herself.

No one dislikes being trusted. It’s an indescribable feeling, but it truly makes one happy.

Seeing Alia had stored the blueprints, Carlotta extended an invitation, "Alia, I just found a great barbecue place in Wales Castle. Want to co try it with ?"

Any shop that made it into the intelligence reports was definitely worth it.

"Now?"

Alia asked.

"Do you have anything else to do now?"

"No, let’s go."

Alia smiled.

Carlotta was in a good mood and imdiately led Alia off the Moonlight. Following the location in the intelligence report, they found Adolf’s Barbecue.

The shop had been closed for a while and had just reopened. Many custors didn’t know yet, so business was relatively quiet.

After arriving, Carlotta took the nu and ordered most of the barbecue items, eagerly awaiting their al.

Since there weren’t many custors, it didn’t take long for the various skewers Carlotta ordered to be served.

Carlotta glanced around, picked up a skewer with at and vegetables alternating on it, the layers well-arranged, the at already golden brown, exuding a spicy aroma that hit her nose directly.

She took a bite, and the at juices mixed with the sauce exploded in her mouth, an indescribable deliciousness flooding her senses.

This made her chew faster, and even after swallowing the piece of at, she still felt the lingering flavor on her lips.

"Alia, it’s really delicious," Carlotta couldn’t help but say to Alia.

Alia smiled, also picked up a skewer and took a bite, her eyes slightly lighting up.

As a noble lady, she had tasted countless delicacies, but even she had to admit that the barbecue from this shop was exceptional.

For a mont, Alia also sped up her eating, her small mouth soon glistening with oil.

Seeing this, Carlotta couldn’t help but feel amused.

An idea struck her, and she quietly took out a photo card, aid it at Alia, and infused it with magic, capturing the mont Alia was eating barbecue with a click.

On the surface of the photo card, a picture erged and fell into Carlotta’s hand.

Alia glanced at Carlotta, not minding being photographed, appearing graceful, and simply said, "Let see."

Carlotta handed the photo over.

Alia looked at the photo of herself, surprised to see herself captured with a gluttonous expression, which made her smile.

Then she said, "This photo is mine now."

Carlotta naturally had no objections, as it was Alia who was photographed.

Both of them were very satisfied with the barbecue al, and it didn’t take long after they finished at the barbecue shop.

So next, Carlotta invited Alia to visit the entertainnt venues at Star Bay.

She had previously thought that those places were not interesting when going alone, but would it feel different when going with soone else?

Alia didn’t refuse.

Soon after, they arrived at the Card House.

There were many ways to play cards in this world, and Carlotta chose a ga for two, getting a private room to play with Alia.

...

Unknowingly, the sky darkened, and a cold wind blew through Wales Castle.

Under the streetlights, Wales Castle was still bustling with people.

"I didn’t expect us to stay at the Card House for so long. I originally wanted to take you to more places," Carlotta said, looking at the sky in surprise as they left the Card House.

She took out a clock card and checked the ti; it was almost midnight.

Often, when engrossed in sothing, one forgets the passage of ti.

Alia smoothed her hair and smiled, "We’re in Wales Castle, and unless sothing unexpected happens, we’ll be here for a long ti. There’s no worry about not visiting other places."

Carlotta nodded in agreent.

Although Alia’s words had a hint of jinxing it, usually saying ’unless sothing unexpected happens’ implies that sothing unexpected will happen, but really, how many unexpected things could there be in this world?

Walking on the streets of Star Bay, chatting and laughing, the streetlights stretched their shadows long.

Suddenly, the sound of nurous hooves ca from afar, rapidly approaching, making Carlotta and Alia stop in their tracks.

They turned around and saw a large troop of cavalry galloping towards them.

"This is..." Alia’s eyes showed surprise.

She recognized the cavalry; from their armor and armbands, she could tell they were the Imperial Army directly under the Wendell Empire.

But the question was, why would the Imperial Army of the Wendell Empire appear in Wales Castle?

As they approached, the cavalry stopped, and the leader quickly dismounted, kneeling on one knee before Alia.

"I am a ssenger from the First Division of the Imperial Army. Miss Fenwick, the Empire is about to invade the Velmoria Empire. Please gather all the garrison troops from Wales Castle and follow us into Velmoria."

"What’s going on?" Alia frowned, feeling everything was very sudden.

The ssenger didn’t say more but handed over a docunt detailing the surprise attack.

Alia took the docunt and read it, her expression changing repeatedly.

Carlotta, however, understood and couldn’t help but show surprise.

She had previously seen related intelligence, knowing that the Wendell Empire had a grand plan to surprise attack the Velmoria Empire, expanding vast resources to transport a million troops to the Francis front, catching Velmoria off guard.

But in just a blink, this plan was already being executed?

After reading the docunt, Alia also understood the situation, frowning at the Empire’s grand gesture.

The Empire’s move was indeed grand, but the cost was also imnse, sothing only those of high status could comprehend. Was it really worth it to pay such a price for a surprise attack on Velmoria?

Alia didn’t understand the thoughts of Emperor Alex, nor did she intend to speculate too much. Since the Emperor had made this decision, she would follow it.

"Understood. I’ll start making arrangents now. You all take a rest," Alia said.

"We’ll wait outside Wales Castle," the leader ssenger stood up, remounted, and quickly led the troops away.

Watching the ssengers leave, Alia said to Carlotta, "Let’s hurry back to the Moonlight. We’ll be busy from now on."

She had already moved the Wales Castle office to the Moonlight, finding it much more comfortable to work there than in the baron’s mansion.

They headed towards the Moonlight, and on the way, Alia kindly explained the situation to Carlotta, which aligned with the intelligence Carlotta had seen.

The Wendell Empire was clearly determined to carry out the surprise attack, not only choosing to transport a large army but also selecting a ti close to midnight, clearly aiming to deliver a heavy blow to the Velmoria Empire.

As they neared the Moonlight, the ti finally struck midnight.

Carlotta walked while summoning the intelligence panel to check, and when her eyes scanned through the various intelligence, her expression drastically changed.
