Carlotta naturally understood what the High Priestess said. She had never underestimated those Outer Gods. However, she had always been confident in herself, especially after obtaining the Sky Island. Now, with the addition of the New Moon, her confidence has doubled!

Carlotta then found a secluded spot and began sparring with the High Priestess to enhance her strength.

Truthfully, her current power level was already extrely high. There were no suitable training partners left, so she could only rely on the High Priestess.

In the blink of an eye, several more days had passed.

During this ti, the Southern Continent was far from peaceful.

After Carlotta had previously slain the Demon King, and with the four commanders of the Demon King's faction also dead, the vast demon race was left without leadership or support, and imdiately beca the target of relentless pursuit.

Within just a few short days, the human forces advanced triumphantly. Wherever they passed, layer upon layer of demon corpses piled up. This was undoubtedly an extrely terrifying war of extermination!

This world had no need for the demon race!

anwhile, the beastn faction was also in a bad state. They too were major enemies of humanity, and to many people, beastn were even more detestable than demons, because beastn ate humans.

Many people raised their blades and swung them toward the beastn.

Originally, there were six Exalted beings on the Southern Continent, with two belonging to each of the three major factions.

The beast god Andor had been killed by Carlotta, leaving only one beast god remaining among the beastn.

On the human side, there were still the two Exalted beings known as the Sacred Sword and the Sacred Spear. They were famous throughout the Southern Continent and possessed formidable strength.

Recently, these two Exalted beings had not participated in the massacre of the demon race, since even without them, the others were more than capable of dealing with the demons.

They seized the opportunity to head towards the beastn faction and tracked down the last remaining beast god among them.

Thus, not long ago, another major event shook the entire Southern Continent.

Through their combined efforts, the Sacred Sword and the Sacred Spear succeeded in killing the final Exalted beastman.

Killing an Exalted being wasn't as easy for them as it was for Carlotta. In this battle, they had given it their all. For them, this was an extrely rare chance, one they absolutely could not afford to miss.

And in the end, they succeeded in slaying the last beast god.

With no Exalted being left, the remaining beastn stood no chance against these two. For a ti, they ruled supre, rampaging through the beastn ranks, slaughtering every beastman they could find and see.

Especially the well-known beastn, such as Weaver-rank beastn, beca their primary targets.

Before an Exalted being, even a Weaver stood no chance but to flee!

This was a complete and utter massacre.

After the demons, the beastn too left behind countless corpses in the wake of humanity's pursuit.

For thousands of years, humanity had never achieved such a massive and awe-inspiring victory, being able to single-handedly hunt down two opposing factions. This result sent waves of excitent through every human, thrilling them beyond asure.

Of course, everyone understood that this achievent wasn't solely due to the Sacred Sword and the Sacred Spear, even though those two Exalted beings had indeed contributed significantly.

The reason such a drastic result had occurred was entirely due to Carlotta White from the Northern Continent!

It was only because Carlotta had easily wiped out the demon leadership and killed a beast god that these two factions collapsed instantly when facing the human forces.

For a ti, even though Carlotta had disappeared from sight during the following period, stories about her spread wildly across the Southern Continent, shaking millions of people.

...

One month later.

Brackmore City, the Holy Capital of the Human Kingdom Alliance on the Southern Continent.

This was the largest and most prosperous city within the human faction, the central hub of human civilization.

Brackmore City spanned a vast area and teed with people. Whether day or night, crowds and lights filled every corner.

At the center of this holy city stood a towering mountain known as the Sacred Mountain, the residence of the two acknowledged figures, the Sacred Sword and the Sacred Spear, hence its na.

Large-scale racial wars erupted frequently on the Southern Continent, and battles between Exalted beings were not uncommon. Therefore, the Sacred Sword and the Sacred Spear usually stayed together, fearing that if separated, they might be ambushed and killed.

Thus, the Sacred Mountain ca into existence.

"The recent gains have truly been satisfying," said the Sacred Sword, sitting on a chair, sipping hot tea with a look of contentnt.

He appeared as a dignified middle-aged man, tall and imposing, with an extraordinary presence.

Beside him, the Sacred Spear was a woman of pure and noble appearance, exuding a transcendent aura.

Just as the Sacred Spear was about to respond, her pupils suddenly shrank, and she suddenly stood up.

"What's wrong?"

The Sacred Sword asked in confusion.

Receiving no answer, he followed the Sacred Spear's gaze outward, his eyes settling on a figure in the air outside.

At that mont, the Sacred Sword's expression changed as well.

Then, the Sacred Sword quickly flew outside, took a deep breath, and wore a look of deep respect as he addressed the figure: "Lady Carlotta, do you have any instructions for us?"

The figure who had suddenly appeared here was none other than Carlotta White.

The Sacred Spear also flew over, her expression solemn as she said, "If the Lady has any orders, you may use us as you wish."

The Sacred Sword and the Sacred Spear were both Exalted beings, the two individuals standing at the very peak of the human faction on the Southern Continent.

Yet at this mont, facing Carlotta, both of them lowered their stances, cautiously placing themselves a generation beneath her, showing her the utmost reverence.

Carlotta looked at the two, and seed a bit surprised: "Where is this place?"

This question leaves the two montarily stunned.

The Sacred Sword was slightly puzzled but still answered, "This is the Sacred Mountain in Brackmore City."

Carlotta naturally had heard of such a place before.

"I didn't expect to accidentally arrive here. Don't trouble yourselves with , I was rely passing through. Well, see you again soti."

After saying this, Carlotta flew away.

She really had just been passing by.

During this ti, she had been continuously deepening her understanding and enhancing her strength. Aside from sparring with the High Priestess, she had also traveled across mountains and rivers, seeking enlightennt from the natural world.

Although the divine mountain of Sky Island was filled with abundant divinity, making it easier for people to gain insights, ever since Carlotta took control of Sky Island, she could easily grasp the divinity present within the high mountains. Over this period, she had co to fully comprehend all the divinity within the mountain.

Thus, her understanding of divinity once again returned to nature itself, mountains, rivers, and flowing streams.

In this world, everything that was known and worth exploring had already been thoroughly investigated by Carlotta and her companions. Therefore, Carlotta separated from the High Priestess to pursue her own enlightennt, always ready to confront the Outer Gods when they arrived.

Alia had already been brought into Carlotta's inner world, and Sky Island was stored there as well. Alia continued her cultivation and enlightennt within, having without a doubt reached the peak tier Weaver, and now, as she delved into the comprehension of divinity, she had truly beco an Exalted.

anwhile, Carlotta wandered freely throughout the outside world. She hadn't expected that, by sheer coincidence, she would end up near the Sacred Sword and Sacred Spear.

After bidding farewell to the two respectful individuals, Carlotta continued on her journey.

"In the Southern Continent, there doesn't seem to be anything left worth seeing. But… the Northern Continent doesn't have much to offer either. Hmm, should I go take a look at the Elven Holand? Or perhaps the territory of the Vampires?"

Carlotta murmured.

There were no Elves or Vampires in the Southern Continent.

However, these two races had always maintained good relations with humanity, so they probably wouldn't have any connection with the Outer Gods.

"Or… maybe I should go see the stars?"

Carlotta lifted her head.

With her current abilities, stepping into the starry void was an effortless task. Perhaps she could even go observe the Outer Gods?

After all, the Outer Gods were currently sealed and powerless to interfere with the outside world. Although she herself couldn't do anything to the sealed Outer Gods, perhaps she could at least take a look?

With that thought, Carlotta imdiately took flight, cast an invisibility spell upon herself, and quickly approached the edge of space.

Within a short ti, she had soared beyond the atmosphere. Before her eyes stretched the vast, endless expanse of the cosmos, cold, barren, imnse, and profound. rely gazing upon it made one instinctively feel their own insignificance.

"The Outer Gods co from the depths of the stars. Could there be even more life hidden deep within the cosmos?"

Carlotta murmured to herself.

She found this possibility highly likely, after all, she herself was a transmigrator.

In the end, Carlotta turned her gaze toward the direction of the moon.

After a brief mont of contemplation, she decided not to go in person. Instead, she cast a spell, using magic power to create a manifestation of herself.

This was a doppelgänger spell, an entity imbued with a portion of her own strength, completely under her control.

Carlotta herself remained in space, while the doppelgänger quickly flew toward the moon.

Not long after, the doppelgänger reached the moon.

This moon resembled the kind Carlotta rembered, its surface scarred with craters, appearing desolate and lifeless.

However, upon careful sensing, one could detect dense reflections of magical energy covering the entire moon, lending it an aura of profound mystery.

The doppelgänger flew forward and stepped onto the moon's surface, then began to carefully sense her surroundings.

She detected a faint, heartbeat-like rhythm coming from within the moon, two distinct rhythms, to be precise.

One rhythm was strong and vigorous, pulsing with life.

The other carries a scorching heat, as if ready to burn anyone alive.

"Who's there?"

Suddenly, a wave of ntal energy emanated from within the moon. It wasn't spoken language, but rather a psychic transmission similar to thought-speech, capable of directly conveying one's intent with perfect clarity.

Alongside the ntal wave, an attempt was made to establish a ntal link, an assumption that the other party couldn't communicate in the sa way, so a bridge was being ford for easier conversation.

The doppelgänger did not accept the ntal link, instead directly using thought-speech to transmit her own ssage back.

"I co from the depths of the stars, rely passing through. In my world, I am revered as a god, worshiped from all directions. Who are you? Trapped here, hidden from the light of day, prisoners, perhaps?"

When the doppelgänger's words reached them, the two Outer Gods sealed within the moon fell into silent shock.

Prisoners, what a sarcastic term, to be applied to beings such as themselves?

Finally, a will send forth a ntal wave: "I am the Undying God. In my own world, I too was a god."

The Sun God added: "I am the Sun God."

The doppelgänger feigned surprise and said, "You, calling yourselves gods while clearly being prisoners? Has the title of 'god' beco so cheap these days? No true god would be imprisoned. Those who suffer such a fate are unworthy of the na."

Inside the moon, the sealed Undying God and Sun God were so enraged their very essence trembled.

"Who exactly are you?"

The Undying God coldly demanded.

"I am the Goddess of Fate, sovereign over the destinies of all existence."

The doppelgänger declared without a hint of sha.

The Undying God and the Sun God didn't believe her words easily.

Still, the Undying God transmitted, "If you truly govern fate, why not take a look at our fates? Let see whether this so-called Goddess of Fate can truly control destiny."

The doppelgänger smiled faintly. "That is no difficulty. Let see your fate, Undying God… sealed away. Indeed, this imprisonnt is not the end for you. Soon, you shall break free and regain your freedom."

The sealed Undying God was secretly shocked. Of course he would be freed, it was only natural. Suddenly, he found this so-called Goddess of Fate not quite as irritating.

Then the doppelgänger suddenly shifted tone, "But sotis, freedom is worse than continued imprisonnt. While sealed, you are rely a prisoner. But once freed, what awaits you will be a thunderous strike, ultimately, you will perish at the hands of a lovely young girl."

Upon hearing this, the Undying God beca so enraged that his entire being trembled violently, causing the moon itself to quake.

"Do not be angry. This is rely the interpretation of fate. If you wish to change your fate, you may choose to remain sealed."

The doppelgangeränger said calmly.

"If I remain sealed, will I live?"

The Undying God didn't believe it.

"If you remain sealed, you'll live a little longer."

The doppelgänger replied.

"Get lost!"

The Undying God couldn't help but shout in fury, feeling that this Goddess of Fate was rely mocking him.

Moreover, he doubted her identity, suspecting she couldn't possibly be a true identity.

"What about my fate?"

The Sun God asked.

The Undying God almost wanted to tell the Sun God not to humiliate himself, but after a mont's thought, he held his tongue.

The doppelgänger smiled and said, "Sun God, your fate… is exactly the sa as the Undying God's. Break free and you die. Remain sealed, and you live a little longer. Life is precious, rember to walk the path of fate and extend your life for just a while more."
