When had Alia ever heard such sentintal words before? For a mont, she felt as if her head was spinning dizzily.

Taking this opportunity, Carlotta asked once more, "So, Alia, will you go out with ?"

Alia had already made up her mind about the answer earlier, so she naturally hesitated no longer now.

Blushing, she nodded slightly. "From now on, please treat kindly, Carlotta."

Overjoyed, Carlotta knew Alia had accepted her. From now on, Alia will be her girlfriend.

This outco made her want to jump and dance with excitent, barely managing to restrain herself from wildly jumping around and shouting.

She held back all her words, instead pulling Alia into a tight embrace, deeply feeling the warmth radiating from the girl in her arms.

In the past, she had hugged Alia for various reasons, but every previous sensation was completely different from now.

Back then, she had hugged her comrade Alia; now, she was hugging her girlfriend Alia!

What should couples do when they’re dating?

Suddenly, Carlotta thought of this question, a blind spot for her. She could only recall things she’d seen online in her previous life and think of so activities they could do.

Translating those into this world, it would be going to the opera, taking a boat ride in the park, watching gas at the stadium... Sothing like that?

Would these count as dates?

But what about when they weren’t on dates?

Carlotta released Alia, gazing at her exquisitely beautiful face, and couldn’t help asking, "What should we do?"

She thought it better to ask Alia and get her opinion.

Alia’s mind was still a bit chaotic. Hearing the question, her heart tightened. "Isn’t this going too fast? Let’s first get used to being in a relationship. Let things progress slowly."

Carlotta was stunned. "What’s too fast?"

"Uh... Never mind."

Seeing Carlotta’s clear, puzzled eyes, Alia realized she’d misunderstood. Carlotta hadn’t ant anything particularly intimate, rather, it was her own mind that had jumped to conclusions.

Her face began burning, her eyes flickering away nervously.

"Right, we should eat. We just woke up and haven’t had anything yet."

Alia quickly changed the subject.

"Yes, let’s eat."

Carlotta nodded repeatedly.

She truly hadn’t realized what Alia had mistaken earlier, because when it ca to emotions, she was completely inexperienced and unable of such interpretations.

The two left the bed and imdiately had the hotel send up two suitable breakfasts, though it was already night, for them it still counted as breakfast.

During the al, Carlotta felt that since their relationship was no longer what it used to be, their eating habits shouldn’t remain the sa either.

The breakfast included Alia’s favorite peanut butter chimney rolls.

Carlotta picked up one chimney roll and directly brought it to Alia’s lips.

Alia glanced at Carlotta, her long lashes trembling, cheeks flushed, as she opened her small mouth and took a bite of the peanut butter chimney roll.

After taking a few bites, she softly said, "You don’t have to feed . You haven’t eaten anything yourself yet, have you?"

"Then... will you feed ?"

Carlotta suggested.

Alia felt a little shy, but didn’t want to refuse Carlotta, so she could only eat the peanut butter chimney roll Carlotta offered her while simultaneously picking up her own food and bringing it to Carlotta’s lips.

Their breakfast slowly progressed in this intimate, tender atmosphere.

Carlotta quietly asked, "Shall we go out for a walk?"

"All right."

Alia didn’t refuse.

Their daily routine had long diverged from that of ordinary people, active at night, resting during the day. Although night had already fallen over the City, it was exactly their ti to be active.

As a border city between the Kingdom of Farrel and the Kingdom of Brandon, this city was exceptionally lively. Even at night, though the bustling scenes faded slightly, it still didn’t feel desolate.

Carlotta and Alia both put on enhanced versions of their Illusion Masks, altering their appearances to look much more ordinary. Their hair colors changed as well, both becoming blonde, resembling a pair of sisters.

Carlotta took Alia’s hand and walked onto the street.

One streetlamp after another illuminated the roadside, while passersby hurried by.

"It’s been a long ti since I’ve felt this sense of blending into daily life."

Carlotta looked around, sowhat touched.

During the ti she was in Sky Island, every day and night had been filled with conquest and hunting, with no legal constraints or atmosphere of normal life, only blood and fire remained.

It had taken her a long ti after returning before she could once again feel this sense of ordinary living, and she felt deeply relaxed.

Passing by a newspaper stand, she bought an evening paper and glanced through it. The front page still covers the Sky Island incident.

Other sections mostly contain familiar news, such as the political coup in the Kingdom of Brandon.

Still, there were occasional local events.

Carlotta noticed an article announcing a famous singer’s performance at a certain opera house, which would last late into the night. Imdiately, she asked a passerby for directions to the opera house.

She hadn’t forgotten that Alia loved opera.

"The Ocean Opera House is very famous in the Kingdom of Farrel. Every larger city has one. I believe their opera performances are of high quality. Let’s go take a look."

Carlotta invited with a smile.

"Now that you ntioned it, it has indeed been a long ti since we watched an opera together. The last ti was in Kestholm."

Alia’s eyes show a hint of nostalgia.

Thinking of the imperial capital Kestholm, she unavoidably recalled her own Fenwick family, causing a strange feeling within her heart.

She wondered what her father’s reaction and feelings would be upon learning she had truly begun dating Carlotta. But no matter what, she had grown up. Her own matters should naturally be decided by herself, and even parents couldn’t interfere with all her choices.

Not long after, Carlotta and Alia arrived at the Ocean Opera House, successfully bought tickets, and entered, taking seats at a fairly good location to enjoy the singer’s performance.

After a while, Alia murmured dreamily, "Carlotta."

"Yes?"

"I feel like I’m dreaming."

"Because of the opera house?"

"Because of you."

Alia relaxed, leaning against Carlotta, resting her head on Carlotta’s shoulder.

Softly, she said, "I never expected that one day I’d be in a relationship with soone. But I’m glad it’s you."

Carlotta held Alia’s hand, gently caressing her fingers, and whispered, "Only you could make want to confess and give the courage to do so. You are my dream, my dream has walked into reality. Everything is happening right now. I feel so happy."

Carlotta and Alia huddled together, watching the opera performance while whispering softly. The atmosphere between them had changed completely from the past, now much more intimate.

Unconsciously, the opera performance ended, and the theater approached closing ti.

Carlotta held Alia’s hand, leaving the opera house together with the crowd of spectators.

The night in Bor City wasn’t dim. Streetlights flickered, many shops along the roadside remained open, pedestrians ca and went, still bustling.

After leaving the theater, Carlotta didn’t know what to do with Alia next. At night, most people rested, and many places were closed.

She could only walk along the city streets holding Alia’s hand, feeling a quiet serenity deep within her heart.

Until the arrival of dawn.

Carlotta glanced at the ti, her eyes instantly lighting up with surprise.

Today’s intelligence reports contained quite a lot, telling her about several scenic spots in Bor City, several good places to eat and drink, and several ideal spots for entertainnt. Was this information secretly suggesting date locations?

Carlotta originally had no goal, but after seeing the intel, her destination was imdiately set.

Right away, she led Alia toward the nearest ice cream parlor.

...

One night passed in the blink of an eye.

When gentle morning light fell upon Bor City, Carlotta had already taken Alia on a full tour of the city, visiting many different places. The entire night had been deeply satisfying for both of them.

Seeing sunlight spill across the waking city, Carlotta gazed into the distance, her mind briefly dazed. She never thought she’d actually win Alia’s affection, successfully start a relationship with her, and turn past rumors into reality.

She looked at the person beside her, and the dazed feeling quickly faded. What she felt through her palms was undeniably real.

With daylight ca the city’s revival. Carlotta and Alia didn’t return to rest too early; they wandered the city a little longer before heading back to their hotel room.

Seeing the single bed, Carlotta’s eyes instantly sparkled with anticipation. She quickly stripped off her outer clothes, dove under the covers, and then beckoned Alia over.

"Carlotta... you..."

Alia blushed slightly.

"What about ?"

"Nothing."

Alia felt a bit embarrassed. After officially becoming a couple, lying on the sa bed imdiately gave her a subtle sensation she’d never felt before.

Though shy, she still removed her outer clothes and slipped under the covers, moving a little closer to Carlotta, their bodies pressed tightly together, sharing each other’s warmth.

Carlotta wrapped her arms tightly around Alia and grinned, "Before, I always wanted to hold you while sleeping, but never dared to make a move. Today, I can finally hold you openly, right?"

Alia couldn’t help rolling her eyes. "Didn’t you already hold every single night before?"

"Did I?"

Carlotta was surprised.

She knew her sleeping posture might not be the best, this morning, upon waking, she’d found herself hugging Alia. Could it be that every single day before, she’d been doing exactly the sa thing?

Alia sighed helplessly. "You always woke up later than before, so you truly had no idea about these things. But at least yesterday, you woke before , you should understand what I an, right?"

Carlotta chuckled awkwardly. "Is my sleeping posture really that bad?"

"Other than your habit of hugging people, there aren’t any other problems."

"That’s great. Before I could say it was just my bad sleeping posture, but from now on, it won’t be about sleeping posture anymore, right? Because this will simply be natural."

Relieved, Carlotta tightened her embrace around Alia, draping her legs over Alia’s body like a koala.

At such an intimate gesture, Alia’s face visibly reddened.

Back in their private room, they removed their Illusion Masks, revealing their true appearances.

Looking at Alia’s flushed, exquisite face, Carlotta couldn’t resist leaning a little closer.

"Carlotta, what are you doing?"

Alia grew even more nervous.

She could feel Carlotta’s breath as she approached, warm air brushing against her face.

"Kissing you."

Carlotta’s answer was direct.

And she acted exactly as she said.

With a soft pop, she planted a kiss on Alia’s cheek.

In that instant, Alia felt her mind spin, an unprecedented sensation flooding through her, causing her brain to temporarily stop thinking.

Carlotta laughed at Alia’s expression. "Alia, you’re really innocent, huh? You can’t even withstand this? If I did sothing more aggressive, wouldn’t you completely collapse? What would you look like then?"

Though slightly dazed, Alia still clearly heard Carlotta’s words, a faint panic rising in her heart. She never expected Carlotta to be so bold and composed about such things, her courage far exceeding her own.

"Carlotta, don’t get carried away."

After giving a warning, Alia asked curiously, "Why are you so at ease about this? Have you dated soone before?"

As she asked the question, Alia tried her best to appear indifferent, but deep down, she cared imnsely, her heartbeat montarily slowed.

"No, of course not. But just because I’ve never been in a relationship myself, does that an I’ve never seen others in one?"

Carlotta smiled.

As a transmigrator, the flow of information in her previous world far surpassed this world. She’d passively absorbed quite a lot about such matters, so she naturally wouldn’t feel awkward.

"I see..."

Alia silently breathed a sigh of relief.

Seeing Carlotta still staring intently at her, she quickly added, "Let’s sleep first. There’s an auction tonight, don’t oversleep."

"Alright, alright. Kissing you once a day is enough. I’ll kiss you again tomorrow."

Carlotta said with a bright smile.

Alia’s face flushed red once more.

What did she an by "kissing you once a day"? What bold, suggestive words were these?

Though she’d never heard these exact phrases before, when Carlotta said them, she instantly understood their aning.

Carlotta, how daring.

Carlotta stopped teasing Alia, took out a Sleep Card, activated it, and placed it beneath her pillow. Then, still holding Alia, she sank into a deep sleep.

...

When they awoke again, night had already fallen.

Carlotta found her arms empty and instantly snapped awake, propping herself up. She imdiately sensed magical fluctuations from the living room. Taking out a Light Card to illuminate her surroundings, she stepped out and saw Alia already deep in cultivation.
