Thursday – 8:44 AM – Containnt Facility Theta-9
The door clicks.
A man in a suit steps in.
"Miss Aya. Ti for your reassignnt transport."
She smiles.
It's not friendly.
"Oh, perfect. I was getting bored pretending not to know where the ergency override panel is."
He blinks.
Then she moves.
anwhile – Kazuki & Yu – Approaching the Facility
Yu leads him through an overgrown trail.
Kazuki clutches the map Natsuki gave him.
"She's here," he mutters. "They locked her up like she's the problem."
"She is the problem," Yu says, calmly.
Kazuki stops.
She continues:"She's the reason you haven't gone nuclear yet. The system hates that. They want you controllable. Not grounded."
Kazuki clenches his fists.
"Then they're going to learn what uncontrollable looks like."
Inside the Facility – Hallway Gamma
Sirens blare.
The ergency lights kick on.
A guard crashes into a wall.
Aya strolls out of the control room wearing his ID badge, holding a stun baton, and sipping soone else's vending machine coffee.
She's not even out of breath.
"Honestly," she mutters, "this place is less secure than our fridge back ho."
She walks into the main hall—And stops.
Kazuki's standing at the far end.
Covered in leaves, dirt, and the faint shimr of psychic reality fog.
"...Kazuki?"
He blinks.
"Aya?"
A long pause.
She frowns.
"You were supposed to rescue ."
"You already broke out?!"
"I was bored!"
They stare at each other.
Then they laugh.
Yu, from behind Kazuki:"God, you two are sickening."
Elsewhere – Observation Room
Two agents watch them on cara.
"...Did the civilian just defeat three of our staff with a mop?"
"Yes."
"And the boy just... erased a wall with his emotions?"
"Yes."
"Do we call for backup?"
"Sir, at this point, I think we just resign."
In the Hall – Reunion Complete
Kazuki steps forward.
"Are you okay?"
Aya flicks his forehead.
"I've been eating cafeteria rice balls and plotting prison break fanfics for two days. I'm thriving."
He pulls her into a hug.
Reality hums.
The hallway flickers.
Yu raises an eyebrow.
"...Your powers are literally stronger when she's touching you."
Aya: "Sounds about right."
Kazuki: "Please don't weaponize that."
Aya: "Too late."
Later – Roof of the Facility
They sit under the sky.
Yu stares at them both.
"I'm leaving," she says.
Kazuki blinks. "What?"
"There's a place. People like us. Not just thought-manifesters. Drears. mory-twisters. Regret-loopers."
Aya leans in.
"Are you making those nas up?"
"No. They make the system scared."
She looks at Kazuki.
"You're not a glitch. You're a preview."
Then she walks away.
And Kazuki realizes:
She's not warning him. She's inviting him.
Final Scene – Train Back to Camp
Kazuki and Aya sit side-by-side in the nearly empty car.
She rests her head on his shoulder.
He's still half-wired from adrenaline.
"You really scared ," he says.
"You scare every day," she replies.
He turns to look at her.
"Then why stay?"
She smiles.
"Because your brain's stupid, and I love watching it suffer."
Pause.
Then softly—
"...Also because I think if I leave, the moon might actually turn into boobs."
Kazuki sighs.
"I only imagined it once."
"And that's one ti too many."
