"So that's the reason why you two have been acting distant to ?" I sighed in both relief and annoyance. The annoyance wasn't aid at the twins, but towards myself, because I completely misunderstood the two of them.
I shouldn't have stayed inside the library that much, but because I did, I had no idea that Rem and Ram actually didn't have any day off and such.
Still, it's great that I found this out this early, and the solution is so easy to implent that I would be Nobita levels of stupid if I fumbled this up.
So I looked back at the twins who were sitting right in front of . Rem still looked down, while Ram looked at and awaited what I'd do.
So I didn't waste any ti and spoke up.
"Actually this is my fault… sorry, Rem, Ram. I have been so irresponsible to the both of you.
I was sad that the two of you were acting quite distant. I was afraid that you two didn't like anymore. That's why I stord off just now." I sighed once more, before I stood up from my seat and walked towards them, facing them, face to face.
I reached my hand and took one of theirs and interlocked my fingers with them, before crouching so I could face Rem who's head was lowered and continued.
"Rem, Ram… You know— I would never be able to get mad at you both. That is unless of course, you two did a bad thing on purpose.
But other than that— mistakes like these… that's basically just a misunderstanding on all our part— I would never be mad.
I would rather bla myself for it than bla it on the two of you. The two, sweetest girls I know."
"Actually, one of the reasons why I wanted to go back here with you two is so that the three of us can get closer again.
Because, as I've said before, I was afraid that the two of you had started disliking .
And honestly, even if it was only for a very brief ti, I missed living in this house with just the three of us." I grinned before I stood up and sat down between the two of them, still holding one of their hands each, and asked.
"So Rem, Ram— can you two forgive for being a bad friend?"
As I looked at the two of them, awaiting their response. Rem and Ram suddenly grabbed , and pulled into an unexpected embrace.
"Hisa-nii!!"
"*Sigh* You're so dramatic, HisaHisa… Although I didn't mind seeing your face looking like an abandoned puppy just now."
"Ack! Tight! Tight!" I groaned in pain as I hurriedly patted the twins, I felt my bones creak, feeling breathless.
Thankfully, not long after, the two of them finally let go.
Now, so might wonder how I am this weak despite being a devil. The answer to that question is— I have no idea.
In fact, despite being a half devil, I actually don't exhibit any devil features. Which, father found strange as well—
Heck, months ago, when I first told father about this anomaly, he had actually straight up teleported towards the smartest devil there is.
Ajuka Beelzebub; Latia's uncle. In fact, that's where Latia and I first t— well, on my side at least, because Latia and I were never actually introduced.
I rely saw her passing by that ti, and it was only a few weeks ago that we were properly introduced to each other.
In short, after getting examined by the smartest devil in existence, I was confird to be a mutant. Just like Sirzech, but at the sa ti, completely unlike him.
In Sirzech's case, his mutation led to him becoming a being made of POD itself, while my case is the complete opposite.
It made my human features more prominent than my devil side.
Yet— while I may not have gotten the physiology of a devil, I also didn't get their weakness for the holy elent. And in fact, it seems that In exchange for a weak body, my Demonic Energy reserves are pretty much on par with that of a Satan class and probably near that of a Super Devil.
Heck, that was pretty much the reason why my "Ti's" outburst a year ago reached that far and was potent enough to not only affect weaker devils, but even stronger ones.
Unfortunately, while I may have that huge of a reserve— or rather, it was precisely because I had that huge of a reserve that I have been experiencing difficulties in controlling my output.
This was also why I am able to pretty much manifest all the spirits. Because,
while they didn't need to use my reserves to cast magic. The spirits, not needing to dematerialize to "recharge" is pretty much because of my huge reserves.
So despite the fact that I know I am a mutant like Sirzechs, which is the reason why my body is weaker than a devil. It's true that I have no idea why I beca a mutant in the first place.
Because generally, if a devil procreates with a person of different race, the outco would always be a "half devil hybrid"
Never in history did my case happen to anyone else.
Well, not that I know of at the very least.
Still, while my physiology isn't that of a devil, I could pretty much match it if I use the "flow" thod.
But I typically don't use it unless I'm fighting sobody, and not bother using it while interacting with the two people in this world that I trust the most.

A few days have passed, and currently, Rem, Ram, and I are currently in a neighbouring town, ascending a long set of stairs that lead to a certain shrine.
This shrine was none other than the shrine where Akeno Hijima, and her mother, Shuri Hijima lived.
But right now, we didn't just go here because of them. In fact, our main goal here today is to join in the festivities, because today, the shrine is hosting a sumr festival.
Right now, Rem and Ram are wearing the Yukata that they had last year. Well, it wasn't the exact one, because the two of them had grown up.
And while their body didn't exactly drastically change— they had pretty much outgrown their previous Yukata.
So, I called a designer that has connections with the Agares Clan and had them make these Yukata which looked pretty much the sa as their previous ones.
The only difference is the size.
Similarly, I am also wearing a green Yukata for male, with golden sunflower patterns.
And if not for casting a spell that hides our presence, we would have caught lots of people's attention already.
"Hisa-nii! Rem wants to try that cloudy thing!" Rem pointed excitedly at the stand selling cotton candy. Her eyes, full of desire.
Seeing her child-like excitent, I couldn't help but be swept up as well, so— with each of their hands locked in mine, the three of us walked towards the stall and briefly deactivated the presence concealing spell.
"Oji-san, two cotton candy please."
Our sudden appearance, and my abrupt voice caught the vendor in surprise, but he just shook his head and muttered sothing about being sleep deprived before he smiled happily and proceeded to make two new cotton candy from his machine.
He then handed the two sticks of cotton candy to Rem and Ram, and I paid him afterwards.
The three of us then walked away from the stall before I once again strengthened the concealnt spell that's surrounding us.
"Waaah!! This is so great! Right, Nee-sama?" Rem bead happily after taking a bite of her cotton candy.
"mhm. It's pretty sweet." Ram responded with a calm voice, before she turned her head towards .
"You didn't order anything, HisaHisa. Do you want to take a bite?" She says, while offering her cotton candy to .
Seeing this, Rem's eyes glowed before she also offered hers.
In response, I raised my hand and shook my head.
"I'm good, just save so when you can't eat them anymore."
It wasn't an abrupt decision on my end, I just know that sooner or later, the two of them would want to try sothing new, and will shove their leftovers towards .
It already happened a year ago, when father brought us to that the park before we went to the underworld.
And just as I had expected, a minute or so after they offered their cotton candy, they saw a stall selling Takoyaki and promptly shoved their cotton candy sticks towards before they walked towards the stall, manned by yet another gruff looking Oji-san.
Rem and Ram's mouth watered, as they looked at the skillet that the Oji-san filled with batter and Tako bits and so other ingredients, looking utterly srized, as they turned their heads towards .
"Alright Alright… I promised to buy you everything that you want tonight, so go ahead." I sighed, before I briefly devoured their left over cotton candy and once again took out my wallet.
