The next morning.

The servants of the manor were intercepted on their way to the ancestral hall to deliver breakfast to Keane Lowell.

"Are you delivering this to Young Master Lowell?"

The speaker was Zane White.

He is the young master’s cousin, and she recognized him, not daring to be disrespectful, "It was sent by the old lady."

Zane White took the tray from her hand, his voice gentle, "It’s right on my way, I’ll deliver it."

The servant hesitated for a mont, hurriedly replied, "Then please, Young Master."

Zane White asked, "How do I get to the ancestral hall?"

"Just follow this road to get there."

The Lowell Family estate is vast, and it’s easy to get lost if you’ve never been to the ancestral hall.

No more words.

Zane White glanced at the dishes and headed straight towards the ancestral hall of The Lowell Family.

Although every corner of the Lowell Family ho is ticulously maintained, the ancestral hall is built in a remote location, inevitably appearing sowhat desolate.

As he stepped into the courtyard, whether it was psychological or not, he felt a chilly breeze drilling into his spine.

It was only upon seeing Keane Lowell that he eased up.

Keane was not inside the ancestral hall, but rather stood on the porch, his figure tall and broad, even when punished by the family, he remained noble, aloof, and above, making people reluctant to dare offend him lightly.

Zane White had to taunt him a bit, "How co you brought yourself into the ancestral hall?"

Keane turned around to look at him, his eyes a clear gray, with so stubble coming through, looking deep and silent.

Zane White took in his haggard appearance, "Didn’t sleep all night?"

"If you’re interested, you can try spending a night here?"

Zane White glanced inside, the place seed small, apart from offerings and morial plaques, there were two prayer mats on the floor.

It just looked eerie.

Thinking about spending a night here was enough to make him apprehensive.

But he knew it wasn’t these things that Young Master Lowell feared.

He had been obedient from a young age and had never been punished; this was his first ti in the ancestral hall.

In the height of sumr, staying in such a simple environnt without a shower at night, with only a cold, hard floor and prayer mats to lay upon, was impossible for soone who grew up accustod to luxury to bear and sleep on.

It was only this one ti in the ancestral hall, for the sake of a young girl.

Though from the mont he realized Claire Prescott was a mber of the Prescott Family, he had anticipated this outco today, yet he truly did not wish to see this scenario.

His aunt had complained to him a bit last night, so he ca first thing this morning.

He placed breakfast on the porch chair, "I didn’t expect you’d be such a romantic; willing to be punished to defy your family’s wishes for her. If I were you, I wouldn’t be this stubborn; a little pretending compliance would suffice, sparing yourself from suffering here."

Keane Lowell was indifferent, "And after that? Secretly dating my love?"

"It’s not impossible."

"That’s not the result I want." His voice remained calm and rational.

"Okay, romantic, have breakfast first. Let know if you need help."

Keane wasn’t courteous, taking a car key from his pocket and handing it to him, deep-voiced, "Go to my car and bring my work laptop over, also my phone’s out of battery, find a portable charger for ."

Zane White instantly was speechless, looking at him in disbelief, "Even now, you still have the mind to work?"

"Too much talking."

"Alright." Before leaving, Zane couldn’t help but ask, "Does she know you were punished by the family?"

"She doesn’t need to know." The voice was soft, yet it carried an especially heavy weight.

Zane understood clearly; Young Master Lowell simply did not want his beloved to know.

He took a breath, didn’t say anything further, and turned to get him the things.

However.

When he returned, he saw that the breakfast hadn’t been touched at all, and the person still stood straight where he was.

It seems, The Lancasters can elevate him to the clouds, or easily pull him down from them; although his current state can be considered quite miserable, he still retains an air of pride.

Zane handed over the items he had asked for, "Got everything for you, let know if you need more help."

"No need." Keane took them, charged his phone, then knelt on one knee on the porch chair, opened the laptop, and was about to join the video conference.

Seeing him so dedicated.

Zane helplessly left, quietly.

It seems, the most he could help with was just getting things for him.

The Lowell Family couldn’t even handle his aunt, let alone an outsider like him.

But until Young Master Lowell gave in, he feared he would remain bound here.

How could this situation be resolved?

By noon, the video conference hadn’t ended.

The old lady sent soone over again to deliver food to him.

The servant, seeing breakfast had long gone cold, couldn’t help but advise him, then reported his situation to the old lady.

"The young master has been busy with work and hasn’t even had breakfast."

Upon hearing this, Old Mrs. Lowell’s countenance carried a hint of gravity, but she said nothing.

In the afternoon, while resting in the garden.

The housekeeper ca to report, "Old lady, Assistant Cheney has brought over two foreign business partners, saying they want to discuss business with the young master."

Old Mrs. Lowell imdiately recalled her grandson ntioning business last night.

Her brows furrowed; it was clear that the priority of matters was evident; the company couldn’t do without him leading the situation.

After pondering for a mont, she finally relented, "Let him wash up and change into clean clothes."

The ’him’ in her words.

The housekeeper naturally understood who she was referring to.

Thus, instructions were issued at both ends, informing the young master and inviting the three guests outside in.

While Old Mrs. Lowell personally greeted, because she didn’t speak German, there wasn’t much talk, sparing Assistant Cheney from translating.

Only when hearing from Assistant Cheney how significant the project was and how much her grandson valued it, she inevitably found it hard to hold.

Without waiting too long.

Keane Lowell washed up and ca to et them, even though he was neat and clean from top to bottom, the trace of fatigue in his eyes remained, sothing that couldn’t be washed away.

During the eting.

The two Germans warmly shook hands with him, inquired about his situation.

Keane replied to them in German.

The magnetic German pronunciation left Old Mrs. Lowell bewildered, so when they all looked over, she hesitated for a mont, Assistant Cheney actively translating for her, "Old lady, they’re asking President Lowell to take them to tour the company’s exhibits, tested finished products."

Old Mrs. Lowell gazed intently at her grandson, exhaled deeply, and released him.

At this mont, there was no choice but to release him.

Such a significant project clearly couldn’t afford any mistakes and couldn’t do without him.

Keane politely took his leave, raised his hand elegantly to personally invite the two German friends outside, speaking in German all the way.

Old Mrs. Lowell watched their leaving figures, with a kind of deep understanding in her gaze.

Eventually, she withdrew her gaze.
