The next day, Wren Wynter woke up early. After washing up, she changed into a sharp, professional outfit.

She was going to the Xavier Group today to discuss the collaboration project with Kaden Xavier. She knew this was another unavoidable eting.

When she ca downstairs, Butler Chandler had already prepared breakfast.

"Miss Wynter, you look much more energetic today," Butler Chandler said with concern.

"Yes, I feel much better after a night’s sleep."

Wren Wynter smiled and sat down at the dining table.

She tried her best to remain calm and not let the shadow of Kaden Xavier affect her professional mindset.

After breakfast, Wren Wynter drove to the Xavier Group. Along the way, she repeatedly went over the details of the project proposal in her mind, striving for perfection.

She didn’t want to show any flaws in front of Kaden Xavier.

When her car entered the underground parking garage of the Xavier Group, her heart couldn’t help but beat a little faster.

She took a deep breath, trying to calm the turmoil in her heart.

She took the elevator straight to the top floor.

When the elevator doors opened, she imdiately saw Assistant Lynch waiting by the entrance.

"Miss Wynter, you’ve arrived." Assistant Lynch stepped forward and greeted her politely.

"Assistant Lynch, is Mr. Xavier in his office?"

"Yes, Mr. Xavier has been waiting for you for quite so ti." Assistant Lynch led Wren Wynter toward Kaden Xavier’s office.

Pushing open the office door, Wren Wynter imdiately saw Kaden Xavier sitting behind his desk.

He was wearing a dark suit today, which made him seem even more composed and reserved.

Although his face was still a bit pale, his spirits were clearly much better than yesterday.

When Kaden Xavier saw her co in, he put down the file in his hand and looked up.

"You’re here." His voice was deep, carrying a hint of barely perceptible tenderness.

Wren Wynter nodded and walked to the front of the desk.

"Mr. Xavier, shall we begin?" she said, getting straight to the point.

Kaden Xavier didn’t answer right away, instead studying her carefully.

There was a trace of exhaustion in her eyes, but it was overshadowed by a look of resilience and focus.

A surge of pride welled up in his heart. ’This was the woman he had once loved so deeply, and still loved deeply now.’

"No rush."

He gestured for Wren Wynter to sit. "Have a cup of coffee first. I had Assistant Lynch prepare one for you."

Wren Wynter didn’t refuse and sat down. Assistant Lynch quickly brought over a cup of fragrant coffee.

"Thank you." Wren Wynter took the coffee and had a sip.

Kaden Xavier watched her, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"I gave your proposal a rough look-over last night. There are a few points I’d like to discuss with you in person."

Wren Wynter’s heart skipped a beat. ’He actually read it last night? It seems he’s taking this project very seriously.’

"Of course, Mr. Xavier. Please, enlighten ."

Kaden Xavier picked up the docunt on the desk, pointed to a few pages, and began to discuss them with Wren Wynter.

His thinking was clear, and the questions he raised were sharp and to the point.

Wren Wynter listened attentively, responding from ti to ti. The exchange between them was efficient and professional.

Several hours later, the details of the proposal were mostly finalized.

Kaden Xavier closed the file and looked up.

"Wren, I hope we can have a pleasant collaboration on this project."

" too," Wren Wynter replied.

"Also, regarding the dical equipnt donation for Aferia, I’ve already made the arrangents. The hospital here has also begun its expansion to prepare to receive more injured patients. I plan on taking you all for a tour."

Kaden Xavier abruptly changed the subject.

Wren Wynter was a little surprised. She looked at Kaden Xavier, an inexplicable emotion welling up inside her.

’He really hadn’t gone back on his word. He truly supported her going to Aferia and had even done so much for her.’

"Okay." In the end, she only said that one word.

The next day, under Kaden Xavier’s guidance, Wren Wynter and her seniors went to a hospital under the Xavier Group.

This hospital had recently been invested in and expanded by the Xavier Group; it was massive in scale and had advanced facilities.

Kaden Xavier walked in front, his posture ramrod straight, his presence powerful.

Wren Wynter and her seniors followed behind, sowhat surprised by the hospital’s scale.

"Mr. Xavier, the scale of this hospital is much larger than we imagined," Ho-ran Park said sincerely.

Kaden Xavier glanced back at them, a faint smile on his lips.

"The Xavier Group has always invested in the dical field. This hospital is our latest project, aid at creating a first-class dical center."

As they spoke, they arrived at the dean’s office.

The dean was a woman in her fifties nad Luna Lee. She wore a pair of gold-rimd glasses and looked shrewd and competent.

Seeing Kaden Xavier enter, she imdiately stood up to welco him.

"Mr. Xavier, you’re here."

Dean Lee said respectfully.

"Dean Lee, let make so introductions."

Kaden Xavier gestured to Wren Wynter and her seniors. "These are Elder Hawthorne’s students: Miss Wynter, Mr. Park, Mr. Shaw, and Mr. Crowe."

"They’re here this ti to discuss collaborating with our hospital on a dical project."

When Dean Lee heard Elder Hawthorne’s na, a flash of surprise crossed her eyes, and she imdiately beca even more enthusiastic.

Elder Hawthorne’s standing in the dical world was monuntal, so his students were naturally bound to be extraordinary.

"I’ve heard so much about you. Welco, everyone."

Dean Lee enthusiastically shook hands with Wren Wynter and the others.

"Mr. Xavier, rest assured, we will give our full cooperation to Miss Wynter and her team. I’ve already assigned them several experienced nurses, one of whom is our hospital’s head nurse and is very familiar with our procedures."

Dean Lee said.

"Good. Thank you for your trouble, Dean Lee," Kaden Xavier nodded.

Afterward, Dean Lee led Wren Wynter and her team on a tour of the hospital.

During the tour, Dean Lee introduced several nurses to Wren Wynter and her team.

One of the nurses, nad Audrey Aldridge, was rather attractive, with a slender figure that was particularly eye-catching even in a nurse’s uniform.

Audrey Aldridge’s gaze unconsciously fell upon Leo Crowe.

Although Leo Crowe was married, he had a gentle, scholarly appearance, a mild temperant, and was very polite to others, making him quite popular with won.

A strange gleam flashed in Audrey Aldridge’s eyes.

But when her gaze landed on Wren Wynter, a flicker of disdain passed through her eyes.

In her eyes, Wren Wynter might be pretty, but she was just here to coast on her connection to Elder Hawthorne and pad her resu.

’What could a woman like her possibly understand about a dical project?’

After the tour, Wren Wynter and her seniors discussed the project details in one of the hospital’s conference rooms.

Audrey Aldridge and two other nurses were assigned to assist them.

During a break in the eting, Audrey Aldridge took the opportunity to strike up a conversation with Leo Crowe.

"Dr. Crowe, are you satisfied with our hospital’s environnt?"

Audrey Aldridge’s voice was saccharine sweet, tinged with a deliberate gentleness.

Leo Crowe responded politely, "It’s very nice. The hospital’s facilities are comprehensive."

Audrey Aldridge then looked at Wren Wynter, a hint of barely perceptible provocation in her eyes.

"Miss Wynter, you’re Elder Hawthorne’s student, so you must be very capable, right? Simple nurses like us will have to learn a lot from you."

Audrey Aldridge’s words seed complintary, but they were laced with condescension.

Wren Wynter just smiled and said nothing.

She wasn’t interested in such verbal sparring; her focus was entirely on the project.

However, Audrey Aldridge wasn’t finished.
