Chapter 32: Chapter 37: mories from Six Years Ago (8) Chapter 32: Chapter 37: mories from Six Years Ago (8) After the taxi driver left, she bent down to pick up the scattered luxury goods off the ground.

At that ti, the red light hadn’t yet changed to green.

So, when she passed Percy Stanton, she purposefully stopped for a mont, announced, “I’m Isabel Smith, a freshman in the History Departnt at Starhaven University. You can find there to get your money.”

After saying that, she walked past Percy without giving him a second glance. Her air of superiority could even rival her mother Emily Stanton’s arrogance when she’s being coy with his father, Quinton Thompson.

When the red light turned green and Percy didn’t think much about it, he started pedalling his bicycle onward. After a few strokes, he noticed sothing on the roadside. He stopped and picked it up – an ID card.

Isabel Smith, female.

A year younger than him, living in the most luxurious villa district in Bellshire City.

She must be the daughter of a wealthy family.

However, to Percy, who ca from a lavish lifestyle, she seed sowhat ordinary. So he turned his bicycle around, caught up to Isabel, and greeted, “Hello, classmate.”

Isabel assud he was hesitant about the five dollar bill. So, while pacing forward, she carelessly replied, “I’m the heiress of the Smith Corporation. I have no intentions of not paying you back. You can rest assured. Co find tomorrow; I assure you, fifty, five hundred, all is no problem.”

After saying so, she mumbled under her breath, “Damn, how did I lose my wallet today!”

Percy couldn’t help but smile at her remarks. He paused for a mont, then called out to the departing Isabel, “Hey, classmate—”

“Oh, will you please stop being so annoying! I’ve already told I will give it back, why won’t you just drop it? Can’t you act like a man!” Isabel stopped in her tracks, paused mid-sentence then asked out of nowhere, “Do you have a girlfriend?”

Percy was taken aback by her abrupt question and fell silent.

“Ahh, silence ans no, right? I knew it; you probably can’t find a girlfriend. You are so stingy about five dollars, it’s no wonder no woman likes you!”

Such venomous words!

Percy only had that response to her bitter tongue.

He waited until Isabel finished talking, then he calmly responded, “Classmate, you dropped your ID card.”

He clearly saw how stiff Isabel beca. She then slowly backed up without turning around, extending her hand towards Percy signalling her thanks.

Worried that she might not put her hand in the right place, she turned her head and unexpectedly caught Percy’s handso face.

Her gaze fixated on him instantly.

Imdiately after that, she turned towards Percy, smiled brightly, and complinted, “You’re really handso!”

Percy: “….”

The next second, Isabel said sothing astonishing again, “Classmate, hello, can I borrow your first kiss?”

Percy had heard of borrowing money, cars, houses, but borrowing a kiss, notably a first kiss, was unheard of.

Fortunately, his maturity rendered him unphased. Facing Isabel’s surprising revelation, he remained calm and placed the ID card in Isabel’s palm.

He, though up all night and having spent considerable energy on conducting an experint, appeared even paler against his already fair complexion. His delicate features exuded a hint of feminine beauty. Under the early morning sunlight, his skin illuminated a soft golden glow, presenting a beautiful yet defenseless image of a teenager.
