After a while, Percy reluctantly withdrew his gaze from Isabel’s face and accidentally caught sight of her mobile phone by the pillow. He suddenly rembered the three hundred dollars Raymond had asked for to take her to the movies, so he impulsively reached out and took her phone.
Isabel’s phone wasn’t password protected, and Percy easily managed to unlock it. He tapped the WhatsApp icon in the bottom right corner, and the very first ssage was from Raymond. It contained a long list of ssages, most of which were very childish from Raymond. However, Isabel seed to have a lot of patience and responded to each one without showing any impatience, even if sotis the replies took a while.
After scrolling for so ti, Percy finally found the movie plans between Raymond and Isabel. It was a Hollywood cartoon scheduled for next Saturday afternoon at a nearby cinema.
Percy silently morized the ti and location and continued scrolling through the chat history between the two. When he reached the very top, his expression darkened.
“Sister Isabel, my dad said that I think more with my lower half than my upper half. What does he an by that?”
“Your dad must be thinking with his essence-worm!”

When Isabel woke up the next day, the room was as empty as usual.
At that ti, the sunlight outside the window was bright, and it was almost noon. Isabel rarely had the luxury of waking up naturally without an alarm. She stretched lazily in bed and suddenly rembered sothing. She quickly sat up and looked at the spot where she had tripped and fallen the night before, only to find that the broken teapot and teacup shards had been cleaned up, leaving the floor spotless.
If it weren’t for her clear mory of what had happened last night, she would not have seen any trace of Percy’s presence.
