It was not only because they respected the Jiang family but also because they loved Jiang Yao. They did not want her to suffer any injustice.

She t a man in the city who would take her to high-end shopping malls. When that man bought things for her, he did not seem to care about money. No matter what she bought at the mall, he never asked about the cost; he just paid for it.
That was not all. That man would also take her to high-end restaurants for western food, to see new movies, and to places that she had never thought of. She finally knew what Jiang Lei had lacked.
In the past, she felt that Jiang Lei was not rich enough for her. However, after she t that man, Yang Gaoshu finally realized that Jiang Lei was relatively poor.
