"These are the spirits of the slain Human Race, with nowhere to go, they can only wander aimlessly, and eventually either get devoured by demons practicing evil skills or turn into evil ghosts."

With each devouring, the number of ghost souls on the ground dwindled, until at last, all were consud entirely.

For he realized that the devoured ghost souls did not disappear but existed in a brand new form within that shadow.
That shadow was no demon, but an evil ghost!

Watching a battle about to unfold, just then, the first evil ghost suddenly raised its head, its pitch-black eyes flashing with cruelty, its raging emotions making it frantic.
The shadows beneath its feet gathered into a mass, forming a huge black vortex, rapidly drawing in those ghost souls.
One by one, the ghost souls were sucked into the vortex, becoming part of it.
And those absorbed ghost souls had no ability to resist, or perhaps they had no idea how to resist.
Houtu Ancestor Witch saw Yu Yuan staring intently at the evil ghost and sighed softly, "Fellow Daoist seems unfamiliar with these ghost souls and monsters…
At the dawn of Creation of Heaven and Earth, all things were sentient; death was nearly non-existent.
But as ti passed, Fierce Beasts wreaked havoc in the Primordial Land, spurred by murderous and ferocious auras to slaughter massively.
So of those who died had their souls disperse, while others left their souls behind.

He knew that in the Netherworld of later eras, there were countless evil ghosts, and among the Reincarnation Six Paths, there was also an Evil Ghost Path.
But now, reincarnation is not established, nor is the Netherworld ford yet.
