A streak of golden light and clouds traversed the sky.

Yu Yuan laid between two cal humps on thick felt, his mind continuously echoing the golden scripture, frustrating and perplexing him.

This thod of enlightennt through dreams had deeply imprinted itself in his mind, as if it had its own consciousness, appearing intermittently trying to tempt him to cultivate.

It was like the joyful little mare standing in front of the shop, nodding its head, and beckoning every so often: "Handso boy, co play with ~"

If it were any other Immortal Gods, including Daluo Golden Immortals, they probably couldn't resist such temptation.

After all, that was the supre Dao initiated by Saint Zhunti!

The thod is known as the Great Dream Heart Sutra.

As the na suggests, it is a magic that achieves enlightennt through entering the world of dreams.

A flower one world, a dream one Bodhi.

The Tao of Dream Cultivation has endless marvelous thods and infinite divine principles, which are extrely coveted by many Quasi-Saints.

However, Yu Yuan knew very well that Saint Zhunti forcefully pushing this thod onto him was definitely not well-intended.

If not for brainwashing, then for creating discord.

The ultimate goal is likely to convert him into the Western Sect.

Sadly, what Saint Zhunti couldn't calculate was that Yu Yuan was punished by the Heavenly Dao.

In his eyes, any supre magic thod is toxic and evil!

Once cultivated, there's an eighty to ninety percent chance that his strength would greatly regress!

If he could cultivate like others, why would he spend his days bumping into mountains, soaking in poison water, taking magma baths, and enduring lightning strikes to forge his physical body?

It's being forced that he chose the path of Ancient Body Cultivation—a desperate yet best choice.

Now Saint Zhunti actually wants him to cultivate this Dream Enlightennt thod... Is that possible?

Impossible, not in this lifeti!

Unless his brain Yu Yuan's is broken, he would never cultivate it.

Thinking so, yet that passage of the Great Dream Heart Sutra erged again in his mind, deeply vexing him as he couldn't expel it from his thoughts.

Is this what a Saint's mighty power is used for?

Yu Yuan scoffed inwardly and then uttered a light surprise.

At this mont that passage of the Great Dream Heart Sutra was scrolling in his mind along with Saint Zhunti's annotations:

A flower one world, a dream one Bodhi.

Dream enlightennt possesses endless marvelous thods, infinite divine principles, but it also cos with certain risks.

To cultivate this thod, one's Dao Heart must be firr than rock, one must remain uncolored when Mount Suru crumbles before the eyes, and the heart does not waver when the world perishes at dawn, and one must also be able to discern the true from the false, not acting recklessly within the dream world...

Otherwise, the Divine Soul and will can easily get deeply mired in the dream world, unable to extricate oneself, ultimately leading to the exhaustion of the Divine Soul and the dispersal of the will, until the Primordial Spirit perishes, leaving only an empty shell.

"Hmm?"

A crazy idea developed in Yu Yuan's mind.

The thod of Dream Cultivation had so many restrictions, and a slight mistake could endanger the Primordial Spirit…

If he intentionally pushes towards the destruction of his Primordial Spirit while cultivating, could his Primordial Spirit Strength potentially increase inversely due to the effect of Reverse Action?

At this thought, Yu Yuan felt a surge of excitent, eager to try imdiately.

If this thod succeeded, he could even look for other magic thods with side effects.

Wouldn't that an he could "officially" cultivate?

Yu Yuan took out the Chaos Bell and the Treasure Money, ticulously analyzing the situation.

There was still so ti before catching up with the distant Cloud-Winged Peng, and he could take advantage of this ti to test if this thod was feasible.

After all, this held significant aning for him!

Now his physical body was already comparable to the top Great Witches, and ordinary thods hardly enhanced him further.

Even his relatively weaker Primordial Spirit, long enduring the curse of Profound Black Treasure Arrow and Nail-Head Seven Arrows Book, was beginning to see diminishing effects.

His strength enhancent had now reached a bottleneck; tools like the Profound Black Treasure Arrow could hardly cause substantial damage to him anymore.

Hence, he urgently needed a new thod to improve.

He had previously considered finding people to duel, relying on combat to improve—like heading to the Blood Sea to find Minghe Ancestor. * is the ho of this chapter

But such a thod too noticeably attracted attention, and who knows what kind of trouble it might invite if so great power spotted a flaw.

And this approach would also worry those who cared about him.

Considering these factors, he had been looking for other ways to improve.

Now, this thod of Dream Enlightennt seed like a good experint!

"Just try it... I won't die anyway."

With not much hesitation, Yu Yuan instructed the Golden-eyed Five Clouds Cal briefly, then laid comfortably between two cal humps on the thick felt, and started to sleep.

It had been a long ti since he last slept.

For an Immortal God, there's no need to restore energy through sleep.

An Immortal God just gathers the Spiritual Energy from the Heaven and Earth.

Sleeping for Immortal Gods is rely a pasti, or rather, a habit, and most Immortal Gods do not dream when they sleep.

Unless upon sleeping, they happen to feel that sothing special is about to occur.

Yu Yuan doesn't sleep much either; on the rare occasions he does, it's not for rest, but to recapture the sensation of letting his mind go completely empty, free of all thoughts.

In such cases, he wouldn't dream either.

But this ti, his sleep was for cultivation, and he had to dream, not just one, but many.

He closed his eyes, swiftly revisited the Great Dream Heart Sutra in his mind, and quickly grasped the essence of its profound thods.

As Saint Zhunti had said, he indeed possessed great talent.

Anything he found interesting, he almost always grasped it in one go.

Monts later, Yu Yuan was fast asleep with thunderous snores, sinking into a light slumber.

Under the influence of the Great Dream Heart Sutra, his Primordial Spirit dispersed into wisps and threads, then regathered into thousands of miniature Yu Yuans.

These miniatures of Yu Yuan began constructing various dream realms.

Transforming into thousands, he sought true realization through dreams!

Worlds within dreams shifted endlessly, illusory yet concrete, blurring the lines between reality and fiction.

According to the annotations by Saint Zhunti, if powerful enough, one could reverse illusion and reality, turning the dreams into actuality!

In other words, the cultivation accomplishnts in Yu Yuan's dreams could also be transmuted into real gains!

Thus, the efficiency of cultivation could be drastically improved!

This was precisely the power of the Great Dream Heart Sutra.

At this mont, although Yu Yuan was deep in sleep, his consciousness was still overseeing countless dream worlds.

These dream realms all differed; so resembled the Primordial Heaven and Earth, while others were exactly like the mories from his past life, and so were even indescribably bizarre places.

Within each dream realm, a Yu Yuan lived.

Each one followed a vastly different trajectory of life.

So were born into affluence, living a life of luxury and debauchery; others were born lowly, striving hard for daily sustenance; so juggled multiple spouses and spent their days in entertainnt; so devoted themselves to the Dao, spending days in ditation and scripture recitation; so delved from twisted dark voids…

These diverse and vibrant dream realms resembled a kaleidoscope.

Yu Yuan, in varying identities and roles, ventured through these dream worlds, experiencing distinctly different lifetis.

So long, so brief; so joyful, so mundane; so lonely, so noisy; so sweet, so sorrowful…

At this mont, Yu Yuan couldn't help but admire how remarkable Saint Zhunti truly was.

His experiences in these dreams were imbued with intense, lifelike emotions, making him feel as if he had stepped into the cycle of reincarnation.

No wonder Saint Zhunti dared to boast that mastering the Great Dream Heart Sutra to a high level could aid him in attaining the Quasi-Saint status by severing the Good and Evil in his being.

Such tempering of the ntal state was indeed perfect for this purpose.

It must be said, the thod of realizing the Dao through dreams created by the Saint was truly extraordinary!

However, there was one aspect of the Great Dream Heart Sutra that was not so favorable for cultivators with lower Dao Xing or unstable Dao Hearts.

That is, after scattering into thousands of forms and then reassembling, the various experiences, emotions, and ntal states endured would rge in a flash, causing a violent impact on the cultivator's Primordial Spirit.

If the Dao Heart were unstable, one could easily be completely lost in it.

If lucky, one might face exhaustion of the Divine Soul and dissolution of the will; if unlucky, they might entirely perish, leaving behind an empty shell.

Saint Zhunti's annotations specifically ntioned that while reassembling the myriad forms, one must guard the mind and stabilize the Dao Heart, and be sure to wait for the dream to end.

However, Yu Yuan was deliberately courting 'entering the demonic path.'

Just as he was getting to the good part in his dream cultivation, he suddenly woke with a start.

As he opened his eyes, each dream world imdiately collapsed and disintegrated, and the thousands of miniature selves instantly returned to their original state.

In that mont, thousands of different lives were forcibly rged into the sa Primordial Spirit, making Yu Yuan feel as if his mind was hosting a wild party.

Countless chaotic thoughts and complex emotions surged forth, as if a bomb had exploded inside a sealed barrel.

And at that mont, Yu Yuan's Primordial Spirit was that sealed barrel.

In that instant, his Primordial Spirit was completely torn apart.

Starting from the inside, tearing outward, his soul, essence, will, spirit, and all other elents exploded apart…

[Primordial Spirit sustained severe damage: Primordial Spirit Strength 22732, Essence 2230, Soul Consciousness 2342, Will 2982…]

[Primordial Spirit sustained severe damage: Primordial Spirit Strength 29213, Essence 3109, Soul Consciousness 3921, Will 2201…]

[Primordial Spirit sustained severe damage: Primordial Spirit Strength 29728, Essence 2820, Soul Consciousness 2902, Will 3008…]

"It seems… it's done!"

Yu Yuan vividly felt his heavily injured Primordial Spirit rapidly recovering under the effect of Reverse Action, and the strength of his Primordial Spirit also dramatically increased within a short ti.

The increase was even greater than what the Nail-Head Seven Arrows Book had provided.

Clearly, his idea was confird!

He had found a unique thod of cultivation suited for himself!

At this mont, he only wanted to shout towards the west: "This thod of realizing the Dao through dreams…"

"Absolutely wonderful!"
