"That’s just his side of the story. You believe it?" Gu Qingchen frowned.
"I believe it!" Bei Ran nodded.
Gu Qingchen sneered, "So you’re saying you don’t believe my analysis?"
"Your analysis is entirely subjective, filled with your own biases." Bei Ran stared at him, "And you’ve influenced Zhuo Yufeng to be subjective too."
Gu Qingchen was angered by her comnt: ", subjective? Fine, the murderer in all three cases is Lu Mojing. Let’s see who’s right in the end!"
"Fine, I don’t believe he is the murderer!" Bei Ran said coldly, "Want to make a bet on it?"
Seeing that she was challenging him, Gu Qingchen replied, "A bet? If I’m right, Ranran, you must keep at least one ter away from any man in the future, and you can no longer cook, peel fruit, or make desserts for anyone else!"

"Bei Ran—" Gu Qingchen looked at her angrily.

Gu Qingchen was full of fury, "I’m hungry!"
"Go eat outside yourself!" Bei Ran huffed.
Gu Qingchen held up his hand, "I just got out of an operation!"
In the end, Bei Ran’s heart went soft. Bet or no bet, life must go on. She glared at him fiercely, then opened the fridge and went to the kitchen to prepare sothing delicious for him.
At the police station.
Zhuo Yufeng took out several photos, "These were captured on the surveillance caras before the cri. What were you doing? Surveying the area?"

He ordered his subordinates, "No bail during this period."
When he ca out, he saw Lu Xiao waiting for Lu Mojing.
Lu Xiao ran over to him, "Senior brother, is my brother free to go after the questioning?"
"He’s a suspect in the cri, detained for 48 hours with no bail allowed," Zhuo Yufeng said, "You better go back first!"
Upon hearing this, Lu Xiao imdiately got angry, "My brother really isn’t the murderer, Sir Zhuo, go catch the real criminal!"

Gu Yucheng’s imdiate reaction was to throw Ji Su out, but tugging and pulling would wake Gu Yaowan.
Seeing the soundly sleeping woman, he refrained from doing anything for his daughter’s sake.
At dawn, Ji Su woke up.
She patted her cheeks and jumped upon seeing the ti, thinking that Gu Yucheng hadn’t returned all night.
She wondered how he could take care of Gu Yaowan like this?
