Song Xiaoyin was almost bursting with anger!

Bei Ran was her family mber, and Song Yunyin actually bullied her way in!

"Do you think there’s anything left for us to talk about?" Song Xiaoyin grabbed Bei Ran’s hand. "Let’s go. Seeing so people really pollutes the eyes!"

Bei Ran had always thought that Song Xiaoyin was cheerful and graceful. She never expected that she could scold people without using any profanity.

"Okay, Auntie, let’s go!" Bei Ran left with Song Xiaoyin.

Song Yunyin roared angrily behind them: "Song Xiaoyin, do you really want Qingchen to beco a pawn of Bohan?"

This sentence really hit Song Xiaoyin’s sore spot.

She and Gu Qingchen had never coveted the Gu Family’s fortune; she would rather have Gu Qingchen be a good doctor who saves lives. However, she had no idea what Gu Bohan was thinking, insisting on forcing Gu Qingchen to co back and inherit the Gu Family’s business.

"Sister, I think it’s always good for us to talk," Song Yunyin lowered her voice and called her sister for once.

Song Xiaoyin turned back, looking at a face so similar to her own, "Don’t call sister! If you want to talk, follow !"

The two entered a private room, but Song Yunyin stopped Bei Ran at the door: "No need for you to co in. This is a matter between the two sisters."

Song Xiaoyin, however, held Bei Ran’s hand tightly: "She’s not only my daughter-in-law, I also treat her like my own daughter. There’s nothing she can’t know about. Either co in and talk, or leave!"

Song Yunyin looked at them and after a brief contemplation, she entered.

All three were in the room, and Song Xiaoyin closed the door.

"First of all, don’t call sister. From the mont you cleverly climbed into Gu Bohan’s bed, we have nothing to do with each other anymore," Song Xiaoyin said bluntly in front of Bei Ran, "Speak up if you have sothing to say!"

Song Yunyin’s face turned red, this was the sha of her life, and also of the Song Family.

"Do you know why Bohan is so anxious to call Qingchen back?" Song Yunyin adjusted her emotion, and spoke coldly, "If you don’t know the reason, you’ll always be just a pawn!"

Song Xiaoyin was startled; indeed, she didn’t know, "How would I know the thoughts of that old man; they’re unfathomable."

"You think his thoughts are unfathomable because you never really tried to look into his heart," retorted Song Yunyin with sarcasm, "If you did, you’d see clearly."

"You know?" Song Xiaoyin frowned.

Song Yunyin spoke solemnly, "Has he ever forced Qingchen to co back in all these years? No, right? Why now? There must be a reason! Song Xiaoyin, you don’t really love him..."

"Stop right there!" Song Xiaoyin interrupted, "I don’t like hearing any talk on this matter. Love him how you wish! State your reasons or leave!"

"It’s just my speculation!" said Song Yunyin, "Although I’ve always been abroad, the wife of Bohan’s family doctor keeps in touch with . I’m thinking, could it be related to Bohan’s health?"

Song Xiaoyin’s face changed, and although she was extrely shocked inside, her words were harsh: "Is he dying? The sooner the better! No one can threaten my son, my daughter-in-law, and my precious grandchildren!"

"Curse if you need to, why curse Bohan?" Song Yunyin imdiately got angry.

"Anything else you want to say?" Song Xiaoyin got up with Bei Ran, "If not, let’s go!"

Song Yunyin watched their backs: "At this ti, Qingchen should convince Bohan to have a dical check-up. He’s a renowned Great Doctor, not so figurehead CEO of a conglorate!"

Song Xiaoyin didn’t say anything else; she left with Bei Ran.

After entering the elevator, Song Xiaoyin slowly leaned against the elevator wall, all her strength and restraint from before slowly draining away.

How could the grudges and grievances of more than thirty years simply be scattered with the wind?

As she slowly slid to the ground, Bei Ran was taken aback, "Auntie... Auntie..."

Bei Ran imdiately dialed the ergency number 120. While waiting for the doctor and ambulance to arrive, she wished she had studied dicine, so she wouldn’t be so helpless in this mont.

She imdiately took her phone to call Gu Qingchen, but his phone was turned off.

Worried about Song Xiaoyin’s condition, Bei Ran quickly called Yang Junyi: "Junyi, Qingchen’s mother has fainted in the elevator. I have called the ergency number 120, can you please help ?"

Yang Junyi was on leave due to his mother’s situation, but upon hearing that Qingchen’s mother was in trouble, he imdiately said, "First, lay her flat, don’t move her recklessly, next, check her pulse and breathing, and call out to her loudly..."

"Auntie... Auntie..." Bei Ran called out loudly, but Song Xiaoyin did not respond.

Bei Ran followed Yang Junyi’s instructions, "Auntie has a pulse, but her breathing is very slow. She’s not responding to my calls..."

Bei Ran choked up towards the end.

"Keep a close eye on her breathing and pulse, I’m on my way too! It might be a deep coma, but the situation doesn’t seem too serious," Yang Junyi hurriedly drove toward the hotel without minding his leave.

"Okay, thank you..." Bei Ran put down the phone, her hand stroking Song Xiaoyin’s wrist, paying close attention to her pulse.

By the ti the ambulance arrived, Yang Junyi had also reached the scene.

He swiftly perford an examination and then got her into the ambulance, heading for the hospital.

Upon arrival at the hospital, Yang Junyi quickly changed into surgical attire and entered the ergency room.

Bei Ran waited outside, asking the two bodyguards following her, "Do you know how to contact Mr. Gu?"

"I have Brother A-Sheng’s number!" One of them said, dialing A-Sheng’s phone.

"Brother A-Sheng, Miss Bei is looking for Mr. Gu..." He handed the phone to Bei Ran.

A-Sheng imdiately said, "Miss Bei, Mr. Gu went on a business trip to Shanghai this morning, and he hasn’t deplaned yet, so his mobile can’t be reached."

"When will he be back?" Bei Ran hurriedly asked, "Auntie has had an accident!"

A-Sheng replied, "The schedule is for the flight at eleven o’clock tonight, flying from Shanghai to City A, and he will arrive in City A around midnight."

"I understand!" Bei Ran said softly.

Before long, Bei Ran’s phone rang; it was Gu Qingchen calling her back.

"Qingchen..." Holding the phone, Bei Ran’s voice trembled gently.

Gu Qingchen comforted her, "I’ve already spoken to Junyi. Mom’s blood pressure surged montarily, which caused her to faint due to acute distress..."

"I’m sorry, I didn’t take good care of her..." Bei Ran was overwheld with sadness. Song Xiaoyin treated her like a daughter, yet she felt helpless.

"Don’t say such things!" Gu Qingchen stood outside the airport, "You’ve done well! It’s fortunate that you were with her..."

"I’ll stay by Auntie’s side, don’t worry about your trip!" Bei Ran sniffled.

"Alright, no more crying..." Gu Qingchen said softly, "I’ll try to co back as early as possible tonight."

"Okay..." She hung up the phone, then looked towards the door of the ergency room.

After so ergency treatnt, Song Xiaoyin finally was out of danger.

Upon knowing this, Bei Ran wiped her tears away and then sent Gu Qingchen a WeChat ssage, informing him that Song Xiaoyin was out of danger.

At night, Bei Ran sat alone in Song Xiaoyin’s hospital room, constantly monitoring the data of the dical equipnt tracking Song Xiaoyin’s condition.

Around ten o’clock, the door to the hospital room opened.

Bei Ran turned her head and saw Gu Qingchen, who had hurried back, dusty and fatigued. She had never so eagerly anticipated his presence.

All the quarrels, all the petty fights, had dissipated into nothing.

She just wanted him by her side!

Together, they could face all the challenges and difficulties.

"Qingchen..." Bei Ran turned around and threw herself into his arms, clinging tightly to his waist. Only then did she feel the reality of life, right before her eyes.

No matter how many disagreents, no matter what grudges had been held in her heart, the mont of reunion after overcoming endless distances, especially in such a special circumstance, set everything else aside, turning into a profound longing.

Gu Qingchen wrapped his arms around her, a man always feels so much when he is needed.

Here were the two most important people in his life, one is his biological mother, with whom he shares a blood bond.

The other is the love of his life, who longs for his return with all her heart.

What’s more, these two people got along so harmoniously.

"Baby..." he whispered her na, feeling incredibly fortunate. He never had to worry about any conflict between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law; they got along as harmoniously and warmly as if they were mother and daughter.

"You’re finally back!" Bei Ran looked up at him with tearful, misty eyes.

Even her curled eyelashes were tinged with sparkling tears, and in her beautiful almond-shaped eyes reflected his slightly weary face.

Gu Qingchen tightened his grasp around her slender waist, "I’m here..."

We may have missed the most beautiful years, but hopefully, we won’t miss out anymore.
