Reflections in the Evening Calm 1
After receiving a ssage from Tenjō-san that she had t up with Kaguya and they were heading ho, I decided it was ti for to return as well.

Akira had gone out of her way to purchase the clothes that Kaguya had forgotten to buy at the register and handed them to .

My internal assessnt of Kuhouin Akira shot up rapidly.
Despite her blunt appearance, she was compassionate and conscientious.
“Hey, Ririka also chipped in for half of it! Make sure you make up with your stepsister, okay?”
Mayuzumi-san was as lively as ever, and I was grateful for her thoughtfulness.
“Thank you both of you. I’ll make sure to deliver it.”
I packed the clothes they bought and the items I had purchased myself into my backpack.
“Make sure you hand it over in person. Don’t just send it by courier and settle things with a phone call or ssage.”
“That’s right. There’s aning in making the effort to go there in person.”
“O-Okay. I’ll take that to heart.”
The two girls seed to sense my reluctance and firmly tell to do it.
To be honest, I was at a loss. I couldn’t fully understand Kaguya’s feelings.
I had no idea what she was thinking or how I should approach her.

She passionately preached about making the most of the weekend right at the entrance of my room.

The weather is perfect for an outing and it would be a waste to stay cooped up inside.

While I want to agree, I can’t just casually ignore the rules we’ve set.
“A car is just a moving box, which ans it’s broadly an extension of a room, right? The first clause of the Neighbor Agreent is that ‘The fact that we are neighbors is a secret just between the two of us’. We’re not breaking anything.”

The main premise isn’t violated as long as our relationship isn’t discovered by a third party.
In fact, yesterday was far riskier. Kaguya, Akira, and Mayuzumi-san were all together.
It could have easily been revealed that Tōmi Rei’s real na is Tenjō Reiyu if we weren’t careful and that she’s our horoom teacher.
Compared to that, today’s trip is safer.
“I’ll be spending today as Tōmi Rei. Going out with your neighbor should be fine.”
Tōmi Rei, how convenient.
It’s a great idea considering it was just a na that she ca up with on a whim.
“Well, it should be fine as long as it’s not too close.”
It’s unlikely we’ll run into classmates iof we’re traveling by car to a distant place.
Moreover, I owe her a lot for leaving Kaguya in her care yesterday.

She adds it as if to seal the deal.
Clasping her hands in front of her face, she looks up at with a pleading gaze that’s hard to reject.

I may appear reluctant, but inside, I’m cheering with a standing ovation.
I get to go out with Tenjō-san!
It feels like I’m getting a share of good fortune out of nowhere.
