Qi Wen’s words revealed his attitude; Chu Feng was an opponent he took seriously, an opponent worth risking his life to confront.

In Yanjing, Qi Wen was the most elite young master, full of literary and martial prowess, and certainly blessed in both intellect and appearance. Those in Yanjing who could match him were few and far between.

He ca to East River brimming with confidence. Even though Chu Feng had brewed Immortal Tea, Qi Wen did not believe this would change anything. After all, it was just a cup of tea; it wouldn’t change a thing. The Qi Family was still the Qi Family, and Chu Feng was still Chu Feng.

Immortal Tea couldn’t save a company. He was playing the high-end ga of capital operation and strategies. He didn’t believe Chu Feng was his opponent, didn’t believe that the newly established Fengjing Group was his opponent,

didn’t believe the Fengjing Group could match the colossal Qi Family. Even though Chu Feng had the support of An Family, Zhuang Family, and Jin Family, Qi Wen still didn’t believe this would cause him any problems. After all, when the Qi Family beca a distinguished family, those three were still scrambling in small towns like East River.

But when he actually arrived in East River, reality brutally slapped him ti and again.

Upon arriving in East River, Chu Feng taught him the first lesson. He’d thought capital was king, cash was king, and he wanted to crush Chu Feng under the weight of cash.

However, Chu Feng played the ga even more thoroughly, with a cash flow of fifty to sixty billion that Qi Wen had never anticipated.

Next, he tried to manipulate authorities, trying to crush Chu Feng with channels. However, Chu Feng quickly destroyed all his channels with the latest scientific achievents.

Then he tried to woo allies to deliver a fatal blow to Chu Feng. However, his allies were disintegrated by Chu Feng over a single al, completely turning against him. The proverb, "A strong dragon cannot repress a local snake," which Qi Wen had disbelieved because he thought he was a strong enough dragon, now he understood the truth of the saying.

To be tripped by the sa stone once is carelessness; twice is carelessness; three tis is stupidity.

And now, Qi Wen had tripped over the sa stone three tis in a row, which was plain stupidity. Qi Wen didn’t even need to think to know how his comrades back in Yanjing were discussing and mocking him.

Qi Wen admitted he had underestimated his opponent and was utterly defeated in East River. However, he did not concede defeat; to admit failure and to concede defeat are entirely different concepts. Qi Wen admitted failure, much like he had with the Immortal Tea previously; he admitted he had failed. But he did not admit he had lost.

Qi Wen still had confidence in himself, still believed he could turn the tables. He ca from the Qi Family, one of the permanent council mber families of the Huaxia Family annual eting, controlling a tea market worth over a trillion and several other markets worth hundreds of billions.

If a ranking of submission were to list the Qi Family, any tycoon would be beneath their feet. As the most outstanding third generation of the Qi Family, a person of great expectations, how could he possibly lose?

...

"Haven’t you two eaten?" Chu Feng asked as he looked at the ssy table in front of Li Xiaoran and Huang Zixuan.

The two young girls wiped their greasy lips and said, "We never thought the cafeteria food could be this delicious. We always brought food from ho and never ate at the cafeteria."

Seeing how easily satisfied the two girls were, Chu Feng felt they were both fortunate and pitiable at the sa ti.

"Uncle, when are you finally going to take us to et Fan Xiaoxiao and Fang Ting?" Li Xiaoran asked.

Chu Feng said, "Wait for the National Day holidays; I’ll take you then."

Li Xiaoran said, "Okay, it’s a promise. If you don’t take us then, I’ll bite you."

Li Xiaoran was speaking while simultaneously grinding her teeth.

Chu Feng gave Li Xiaoran a noogie and said, "Eat your food, be gentle, be smart, or you might not get married in the future."

"If you dare hit , I’ll bite you to death," Li Xiaoran threatened Chu Feng.

Chu Feng stretched out a hand and held Li Xiaoran’s head, preventing her from moving.

After a playful lunch, Chu Feng also sent Li Xiaoran and Huang Zixuan to their classes.

But before Chu Feng could even leave, he saw soone with a bandaged head, resembling a pig, being wheeled over in a wheelchair.

Chu Feng recognized this "pig head," but had not expected that Black Bear would hit so hard as to turn a perfectly good young talent into sothing unrecognizable.

"Young Master Chu, Young Master Chu, don’t leave. I... I was wrong, I beg you to forgive , I didn’t recognize Mount Tai," Zhang Peng said in a panic when he saw Chu Feng leaving, and tumbled out of the wheelchair, sprawling on the ground.

"Who is this pig head?" Li Xiaoran genuinely couldn’t recognize who this pig head was.

"I was wrong, please forgive , give a chance," Zhang Peng said, imploring Li Xiaoran and Huang Zixuan, hoping they would let him off this ti.

"Young Master Chu, it really was my son’s fault, please forgive our family," Zhang Peng’s father, the one pushing the wheelchair, also ca up to Chu Feng with a worn face, earnestly apologizing.

Zhang Peng and his father could never have dread that, overnight, Chu Feng would beco their boss, and they had turned from bosses to worthless common people overnight.

They were no longer the high ranks of the Zhang Family, no longer enjoyed any privileges, and no longer had people at their beck and call.

Chu Feng looked at one person lying on the ground and another standing and bowing, and said, "Honestly, I really don’t know who you are, but doing sothing wrong cos with a price. Leave now, I won’t pursue this matter, since the Zhang Family is now my ally, my friend. I can’t leave a bad impression for others because of you two villains. Also, this is a school, don’t say you know once you leave."

After finishing speaking, Chu Feng, along with Li Xiaoran and Huang Zixuan, left.

As for Zhang Peng and his father, Chu Feng really didn’t care much about them. Although in one way they were pitiable, every pitiable person has their detestable side. Chu Feng did not want to bother with them anymore, letting them fend for themselves was punishnt enough.

That evening, Chu Feng escorted Li Xiaoran and Huang Zixuan back to their apartnt. After all, given their status, staying at the school was sowhat inappropriate. Had they really stayed at school, Li Dongsheng would probably have needed to stay on campus every day. So, not to trouble everyone, it was safest to have the two of them live outside.

After settling the two girls, Chu Feng also prepared to go ho. With Dragon Soul and guards from both families there, Chu Feng’s presence wasn’t needed anymore.

"Ding-dong."

Just as he was about to leave, Chu Feng’s phone rang, seeing it was Black Bear calling, Chu Feng picked it up.

"Captain Chu, the fish has taken the bait!"
