Cui Jingyan saw how determined Chu Feng was and nodded, saying, "Alright then!"

Cui Jingyan dialed Fatty Tang’s number. When Fatty Tang heard that Chu Feng was willing to go with him, he was so excited that he almost fell off his chair, and he said he would co over right away.

Hearing that Fatty Tang would co over imdiately, Cui Jingyan gave him her address.

Within half an hour, Fatty Tang rang the doorbell at Cui Jingyan’s house.

Cui Jingyan asked Fan Xiaoxiao and Fang Ting to go upstairs first, then she changed into formal clothes and went to et Fatty Tang with Chu Feng.

"Brother Chu, have your college entrance exams ended?" Fatty Tang greeted Chu Feng enthusiastically when he saw him.

Chu Feng nodded and said, "They’ve ended."

Fatty Tang said, "Seeing Brother Chu looking so relaxed, you must have done well. Make sure to let know when it’s ti for the celebration banquet."

Chu Feng said, "I’ll see how things go then. I heard from Sister Yan that you’re planning to go to Yunshuang to select raw materials. When do you plan to depart?"

Chu Feng didn’t like to beat around the bush; being straightforward was better.

Since Chu Feng was direct, Fatty Tang wasn’t vague either. He said, "To be precise, it’s the Yunxi region. If it’s convenient for you, Brother Chu, it would be best if we could set out tomorrow."

Before Chu Feng could speak, Cui Jingyan said, "Chu Feng, Yunxi is near the border and it’s very chaotic, teeming with all sorts. I advise you not to go."

Fatty Tang quickly responded, "President Cui, rest assured, I guarantee safety. The Myanmar public offering is imminent, and there will be a peaceful grace period as no one wants to disrupt the event. So, safety is absolutely guaranteed."

After finishing, Fatty Tang looked at Chu Feng and asked, "What do you think, Brother Chu?"

Chu Feng frowned and said, "I just feel that the timing is a bit rushed."

Fatty Tang said, "If Brother Chu thinks it’s too soon, we can delay a few days; but going earlier also ans coming back earlier, isn’t it? Of course, if you’re busy..."

Chu Feng thought for a mont, interrupted Fatty Tang, and said, "No need, let’s set out tomorrow. I’ll go ho and prepare."

Upon hearing this, Fatty Tang was overjoyed and exclaid, "Great! Then I’ll have soone pick you up and take you to the airport tomorrow."

Chu Feng said, "No need. Sister Yan will take there tomorrow. Just wait for at the airport, and make sure you have my paynt ready."

This trip was solely for the money for Chu Feng, so there was no room for embarrassnt.

Fatty Tang took out a cheque he had prepared earlier, handed it to Chu Feng, and said, "Brother Chu, this is the paynt for your hard work this ti. You hold onto it for now. Once we have mined sothing, I will, as usual, allocate twenty percent of the estimated value to your account."

Chu Feng took the cheque and his heart skipped a beat when he saw the amount was one million.

Although Chu Feng had seen larger sums of money, casually receiving one million as a hardship fee without mining anything yet was utterly astronomical.

However, Chu Feng didn’t know that Fatty Tang had offered the highest amount. Chu Feng’s feat of uncovering Red Jade at Old Master An’s birthday party had spread far and wide. If uncovering once could be attributed to luck, doing so twice was surely a matter of skill.

A one hundred percent success rate - Fatty Tang would willingly pay even five million, let alone one million.

After Fatty Tang left, Chu Feng handed the cheque to Cui Jingyan, saying, "Sister Yan, you hold onto this money for now. I guess by the ti I return from Yunxi, there’ll hardly be any left."

Cui Jingyan’s brows were tightly furrowed as she said, "Chu Feng, Yunxi is already at the border and it’s extrely chaotic. If possible, it’s better not to go."

Chu Feng smiled and said, "Sister Yan, I have already agreed. You wouldn’t want to break the promise, would you? Moreover, our company has just started; I can’t watch it fail. This is your dream after all."

When Cui Jingyan heard Chu Feng’s words, her nose tingled slightly, and she said emotionally, "Chu Feng, thank you."

...

Chu Feng told Qin i at ho that he would be going out the next day, but he did not ntion where he was going or what he was going to do, as Chu Feng did not want Qin i to worry about him.

Chu Feng simply told Qin i that he was going to handle so business for the company with Cui Jingyan the following day, and didn’t elaborate further.

Qin i instructed Chu Feng to be safe and then encouraged him to rest early.

Early the next morning, Cui Jingyan ca downstairs to Chu Feng’s house to pick him up.

Qin i saw Chu Feng off and the two won exchanged a few words of pleasantries. Being close in age, they directly referred to each other as sisters.

"Xiao Feng, your clothes are all on the outer layer of your bag..."

After Qin i finished giving these instructions to Chu Feng, Cui Jingyan laughed and said, "Chu Feng, you’re such a thankless guy. Sister i treats you so well, and even when you have money, you still let Sister i live in such a rundown place."

Qin i smiled slightly and said, "We’re used to living here, and besides, the company has just started; it’s exactly the ti when we need money."

Cui Jingyan didn’t ntion it, but Chu Feng had indeed forgotten about this. Now that he had money, why hadn’t he thought of getting a new house for Qin i?

"Sister Yan, during this period, could you help look for a suitable place, help find a decent house?" Chu Feng said to Cui Jingyan on the way.

Cui Jingyan was moved and asked, "How do you feel about where I live?"

Chu Feng said, "It’s quite nice, but if Sister i were to move in, us living together, she definitely wouldn’t agree."

Cui Jingyan spat at Chu Feng and said, "Who would want to live with you, you lecher? I happen to have a spare villa; I’ll go ask about the price and help you buy it."

Chu Feng said, "Okay! I guess after I co back this ti, the company’s money and the money for buying the villa should be enough."

Although he was only getting a million for the hardship fee, Chu Feng was very confident in his skill at selecting raw materials.

Chu Feng was mainly targeting the two-layer commission.

The two-layer commission was substantial; considering the price of jade could easily range in the tens of millions, one commission could easily exceed a million.

Confident that if the raw materials available there were good, Chu Feng was sure that issuing a billion would not be an issue.

However, Chu Feng misunderstood the commission sche; the so-called two percent commission was calculated after deducting the cost of selecting the raw materials from the final valuation, not from the final sale price. After all, the employer bore a significant risk in purchasing the raw materials.

If you bought raw materials worth millions and only produced items worth hundreds of thousands, the buyer would have already incurred losses, and paying a commission on top of that would be devastating.

Cui Jingyan and Chu Feng soon arrived at the airport where, in the VIP lounge, Chu Feng and Cui Jingyan t the already-arrived Fatty Tang and two n he brought with him.

The two n brought by Fatty Tang, both sporting crew cuts, wore suits but could not conceal the killing aura emanating from them. They were definitely veterans who had seen actual combat.

"President Tang, this trip to Yunxi seems more dangerous than you said, doesn’t it?" Chu Feng said with a serious face.
