Ning Xiaoman stood up when she heard Tang Min’s words and said, "Tell them to wait for in the eting room."
"Okay, Chairman," Tang Min agreed and went out to inform the directors.
After Tang Min left, Ning Xiaoman turned to Chu Feng and asked, "Do you want to co with to listen to the board eting?"
Chu Feng replied, "Not interested, I actually want to have a proper internship."
Ning Xiaoman said, "Alright then, is there anything else you want to do before I leave?"
Chu Feng said, "How about you pour another glass of water?"
Ning Xiaoman glared at Chu Feng and said, "Do you want to turn around and stick my ass out for you to get a good look?"
When Chu Feng heard Ning Xiaoman’s words, his face turned red, and he said, "You caught ."
Ning Xiaoman snorted coldly and said, "Pervert, always a pervert."
Chu Feng replied, "If I’m a pervert, so be it, but calling it an ass is so vulgar, it should be called a beautiful buttocks, okay?"
Ning Xiaoman said, "Only soone like you would have such a term."
Ning Xiaoman sat opposite Chu Feng and continued, "Now, we already have, absolute control of the company. Next, it’s all up to you. The news is out now, they must all be going mad."
Chu Feng assured, "Don’t worry, I’ll definitely do what needs to be done, and I will do it well."
Ning Xiaoman said, "Pleasure doing business with you."
...
At that mont, inside the eting room, the directors of Kai Sheng Group were indeed as anxious as ants on a hot pan.
They had sold all their shares, and at a very low price at that.
The continuous limit-downs had virtually ant they were giving their shares to Ning Xiaoman for free.
Having lost their shares, they were nothing. The money they got from the shares was substantial, but not enough to satisfy their previous lifestyle.
They used to be directors of Kai Sheng Group, holding stature in society. But now, they were nothing. They could no longer enjoy the respect and fear in the eyes of others, nor the treatnt they used to receive at any hotel in East River.
The upper echelons of East River had totally bid them farewell. And the most critical issue was, they were too old now to even consider starting a business again.
They hadn’t realized it before, but now they truly understood how comfortable and pleasant their past lives had been.
They all deeply regretted it. The directors who had sided with Zhao Yongbin against Ning Xiaoman now wished they could strangle Zhao Yongbin. If it hadn’t been for Zhao Yongbin’s instigations and promises of benefits, they would never have chosen to oppose Ning Xiaoman.
As for those directors who had chosen to remain neutral, they regretted it as well. Had they firmly stood by Ning Xiaoman’s side, they wouldn’t be facing this situation now.
They were old, but they were not stupid. After such a turbulent event, they all understood.
All of this had been preditated by Ning Xiaoman, a retaliation against them.
They couldn’t believe that Ning Xiaoman could secure a contract worth over three billion with the Fengjing Group in such a short span of ti. They knew they had been calculated against by Ning Xiaoman for quite a while. Ning Xiaoman had rely forced them to choose sides, but they had chosen the wrong one.
Of course, that was just the shareholders’ fantasy. In reality, Ning Xiaoman’s contract with the Fengjing Group was settled in just five minutes. It was simply beyond their imagination and belief.
"Secretary Tang, why hasn’t the chairman arrived yet?" Ten minutes had passed, and Ning Xiaoman was still absent, making the shareholders restless. Every additional minute they sat seed like a needle pricking their backsides.
Secretary Tang looked at the shareholders, who were now trying to please her, and felt a wave of disgust.
Tang Min said icily, "The chairman is discussing the possibility of deepening cooperation with the chairman of the Fengjing Group. Fengjing Group is planning a joint developnt of Kai Sheng Place with our Group. Moreover, there might be more aspects of cooperation unveiled, with continuous investnts coming from Fengjing Group into our company."
That was certainly a fabrication from Tang Min. Her aim was to make these shareholders, who usually acted so arrogantly and never took Ning Xiaoman seriously, suffer. She wanted them to realize the extent of their happiness in their regular lives.
So say that one doesn’t know their fortune when living in it; previously, these directors didn’t understand. They were already fortunate, but they still weren’t satisfied, continually feeling it wasn’t enough.
Now that they had truly lost it, they understood what happiness they had enjoyed before.
As expected, upon hearing Tang Min’s words, their expressions beca even uglier.
If only they hadn’t chosen to collaborate with Zhao Yongbin, if they hadn’t chosen to remain neutral before, then perhaps they would be celebrating success with Ning Xiaoman, clinking glasses in triumph, while watching their stock values soar.
Since the news had been released, the stocks they had sold off had hit the upper limit four tis in a row. Their current stocks had nearly doubled in value.
"Secretary Tang, what exactly is the background of Fengjing Group?" soone curiously asked.
Secretary Tang sneered inwardly and said, "I don’t know the exact background of Fengjing Group. But I know that it’s very significant, extrely significant. All I know is that our cooperation with Fengjing Group will be long-lasting and continuous."
After Secretary Tang had spoken, their faces looked even worse. They had let go of a goose that laid golden eggs so carelessly.
"Secretary Tang, do you think there’s any chance we can redeem our stocks?" Finally, soone shalessly began to ask this question.
Tang Min’s face showed a hint of disdain as she responded, "I’m sorry, but I can’t answer that question for you. I’m just a secretary; what the chairman decides to do is not within my knowledge."
"Secretary Tang, you are close to the chairman. How could you not know the chairman’s decisions? Give us a hint, so that we can also behave ourselves. After all, we are all employees of the Group, our own people," soone requested with unusual politeness.
Tang Min looked at these n, all of them past fifty, fawning over her, and felt indescribably disgusted.
Before, they had never treated her as one of their own, nor had shown her such kind regard.
Tang Min bluntly replied, "I’m sorry, directors, but as I said, I’m just a secretary. If you have any questions, you can ask the chairman when she arrives, and she will naturally provide answers."
After saying that, Tang Min bent her head down and started organizing the work in her hands.
Seeing her attitude, the shareholders were angry, yet completely helpless.
"Just a secretary, what is there to be arrogant about? We are the veterans of the company. The company’s success today owes a lot to us. I just can’t believe that Ning Xiaoman, that girl, dares to kick us veterans out of the company," soone finally couldn’t contain their anger and blurted out.
"Secretaries indeed have nothing to brag about, but a company’s director has a much higher status than you all," just as the words were spoken, Ning Xiaoman pushed open the door and entered from outside.
