Ning Xiaoman was sowhat surprised to see Tang Min and Chu Feng return together. A flutter stirred in her heart when she noticed Tang Min was still wearing Chu Feng’s clothes, for no discernible reason.

"President, this is the takeaway I got for you. Has Chu Feng agreed to help us deal with Zhao Yongbin and his people?" Tang Min said excitedly.

Ning Xiaoman replied, "So when you said you were leaving early, you ant to seek his help."

Tang Min, with her head down, said, "I’m sorry, President. I shouldn’t have kept it from you. It’s just that I really didn’t know how to help you."

Ning Xiaoman was not the type to be unreasonable, nor was she prone to jealousy. She was a very rational and strong-willed woman; otherwise, she wouldn’t have been able to turn Kai Sheng Group into what it was today.

Ning Xiaoman said, "Thank you."

Tang Min looked up at Ning Xiaoman in surprise and asked, "President, you’re not angry?"

Ning Xiaoman replied, "Why would I be angry? You did it to help . Moreover, the group is facing unparalleled difficulties right now. If we can get outside assistance, I should be the one who’s thankful."

Tang Min said, "Thank you for not blaming , President."

Turning to Chu Feng, Ning Xiaoman said, "I won’t let you help for nothing. I’ll use one floor of the retail space from the Kai Sheng Place, which is under construction, as your reward."

Chu Feng shrugged and replied, "That would be best. Neither of us owes the other anything then."

Seeing the relationship between the two was still so cold, Tang Min wanted to diate but didn’t know what to say. After all, she had only known Chu Feng for a few days.

But no matter what, it was good that Ning Xiaoman was willing to accept Chu Feng’s help.

"What are the main problems you’re facing right now? Tell about them," said Chu Feng.

Ning Xiaoman responded, "There are two issues. One is the issue with the land certificate. All the group’s approval docunts are actually in order; the main issue lies with Ma Xuesong. His father is the deputy director of the Land Bureau, and he’s entirely behind this trouble. As for the bank loans, Zhao Yongbin is in charge of that. But if we can solve the issue with the land certificate, the bank loan won’t be an issue either. So you just need to help us resolve the governnt side of things."

Chu Feng fell silent after hearing Ning Xiaoman’s words.

Five minutes passed without Chu Feng saying a word, making Tang Min and Ning Xiaoman start to get anxious.

"Chu Feng, are you facing any difficulties?" Tang Min ventured to ask.

Chu Feng began, "There’s no difficulty but..."

"But what?" Tang Min and Ning Xiaoman asked in unison.

Chu Feng said, "Since we’re going to solve it, why not take care of everything all at once? It saves trouble later, especially now that I own one floor’s worth of retail space. I don’t want my interests to suffer."

"Do you have any suggestions?" Ning Xiaoman asked.

Chu Feng replied, "It’s your company; what suggestions could I have? And how would I know what issues your company has? Consider what problems there are, see how you need my help, and I will try my best to find a way."

After hearing Chu Feng’s words, Ning Xiaoman began to ponder. She thought about the problems that had accumulated over the years as the company developed. If Chu Feng truly had the capacity to help her resolve them, it would be the best outco.

It took half an hour for Ning Xiaoman to organize her thoughts before she said, "The company has indeed accumulated nurous issues during its rapid developnt over the years. The biggest issue is a group of old-tirs from when my father was in charge. Many of them hold key positions but are entirely unfit for the job. They lack the boldness, courage, and simply can’t keep up with modern corporate managent. But I can’t just easily remove them—they hold shares that have multiplied in value over the years, and the cost of moving them would be great."

Pausing, Ning Xiaoman continued, "Originally, I planned to use the profits from the new Kai Sheng Place project after its completion to buy back their shares at a high price. But now that’s likely to be difficult."

After a mont of silence, Chu Feng asked, "How much money would it take to buy back their shares?"

Ning Xiaoman replied, "I’ve made a budget before; it would take at least twenty-five to thirty billion."

"If your group’s stock price were to plumt, would you still need that much?" Chu Feng inquired.

"Of course not," Ning Xiaoman said. "If it fell by ten percent, we could save two to three billion, and if it continued to drop, we’d need even less."

Chu Feng casually remarked, "Then let it fall."

Ning Xiaoman gave a wry smile and said, "But even if the stock price falls, I still don’t have enough available funds. If I did, I would have addressed the issues with the bank first, right?"

"You might not have the money, but I do. I can lend it to you, or I could simply acquire the shares myself," said Chu Feng.

Tang Min remarked, "Chu Feng, that’s like taking advantage of a disaster. It’s not very friendly of you, is it?"

Chu Feng laughed and said, "I can’t put in all this effort without so benefit. Of course, if you prefer taking high-interest loans, I can also offer you the funds."

"You’re all about profit. I misjudged you," Tang Min said vehently.

Ning Xiaoman, looking at Chu Feng, stated, "I agree to your acquisition of the company’s shares."

Tang Min said, "President..."

Ning Xiaoman replied, "Letting him beco a shareholder of the company is better than having soone else do it. Besides, if he becos a shareholder, he’ll have to take responsibility for any company matters in the future."

Her eyes lighting up, Tang Min said, "Right. From now on, for anything that happens in the company, he’ll have to take responsibility, and see it through to the end."

"Of course, see it through to the end," Ning Xiaoman also said with a smile.

Chu Feng, looking at Ning Xiaoman and Tang Min, asked, "Is it too late for to have second thoughts now?"

"Too late!" Ning Xiaoman and Tang Min said in chorus.

Chu Feng sighed and remarked, "It seems in negotiations between n and won, n always seem to co out on the losing end."

"Giggle!"

Both won covered their mouths, laughing rrily.

"Tang Min, tomorrow, I’ll transfer one percent of my shares in my hands into your na so you’ll also be a shareholder of the company," Ning Xiaoman said to Tang Min.

Tang Min, upon hearing Ning Xiaoman’s words, quickly waved her hands and said, "President, I don’t need it. I think things are fine as they are now."

The shares in Ning Xiaoman’s hands were all bonus shares; at the current stock price, they were worth nearly ten million already. For Tang Min, this gift was far too precious.

Ning Xiaoman said, "You deserve it. It was you who brought him back. If the company’s predicant can be resolved, you’ll have contributed the most. Besides, after all these years you’ve been with , shouldn’t we no longer distinguish between you and ? Or do you think you could betray ?"
