Chu Feng was deeply shaken because he found that by entering ditation in such a manner, the energy within this painting could actually enter his body, and what it replenished was precisely the Divine Sense that Chu Feng most desperately needed to replenish at the mont.
His Divine Sense had been depleted too intensely last ti, and Chu Feng had been looking for ways to recover. However, despite his many efforts, all had proven ineffective.
Yet Chu Feng had not imagined that this painting could actually replenish his Divine Sense; it was sowhat beyond belief.
The only downside was that there was very little Divine Sense Energy in the painting, and after absorbing it for just half an hour, it had already been completely exhausted.
Even so, that half-hour alone was equivalent to several days of Chu Feng’s own recovery.
Chu Feng’s Divine Sense withdrew from the painting, and it took him quite a while to erge from his shock.
"Could it be that Taoist Wu was also a Cultivator?"
This made Chu Feng suspect, and the more he thought about it, the more likely it seed.
Taoist Wu was known as the Painting Saint, and what he excelled at most was the wall paintings of Daoism. If so, Taoist Wu could very well have been an ancient Cultivator.
"What a pity, there’s too little Divine Sense Energy in the painting," Chu Feng sighed, shaking his head.
However, when Chu Feng looked at the painting once more, he noticed that the posture of the Daoist within had changed, taking on a grasping gesture.
Seeing such a movent, Chu Feng couldn’t help but be moved, and in an instant, he sent his mind back into the ancient painting.
"Just as I thought!"
Chu Feng could feel the Divine Sense Power constantly condensing within the ancient painting, and his Divine Sense settled down completely.
After withdrawing his Divine Sense from the ancient painting, he knew that this ti he had truly found a treasure.
Of course, such a thing would not be considered a treasure if it were not in Chu Feng’s hands. At most, it would be valued as an antique painting.
"Jin Yu isn’t so bad, giving such a nice thing; next ti I see him, I’ll punch him a couple of tis less," Chu Feng murmured as he put away the painting.
Such an item was a treasure for Chu Feng, so he had to choose a good place to keep it.
After putting the scroll away properly, Chu Feng pondered and said, "At this rate, if I can absorb three more tis, I will be able to review the contents of the Jade Scroll again."
Chu Feng was incredibly curious about the content in the Divine Sense Jade Scroll. For him, it represented an entirely new world.
After storing away the painting, Chu Feng thought for a mont and called Captain Huang again.
After the call connected, Chu Feng didn’t hear Captain Huang’s voice, but instead, the voice of Black Bear, who had been defeated by Chu Feng last ti.
"Where’s Captain Huang?" Chu Feng asked.
Black Bear said, "Captain Huang is out on a mission."
Chu Feng asked, "Out on a mission, what mission?"
"Chu Feng, you know we have confidentiality rules, and I don’t know what mission Captain Huang has gone on," Black Bear replied in his deep and gruff voice.
"Alright, I got it. Let know when she’s back from her mission," Chu Feng said.
"Got it," responded Black Bear.
With Captain Huang out on a mission, Chu Feng’s attempt at an apology was definitely not happening.
With nothing else to do, Chu Feng glanced at the ti in the USA and decided to give An Rongrong a call.
An Rongrong was also very happy to receive a call from Chu Feng.
"Chu Feng, how have you been getting along with Sister Zhuang recently?" An Rongrong playfully asked.
"Look, missy, I’m following your arrangent. If I had a choice, I’d prefer to be ’fixed up’ by you a few tis," Chu Feng said.
An Rongrong giggled, "Actually, Sister Zhuang is really nice. She’s beautiful and smart; we all think she’s a Goddess."
Chu Feng said, "You guys think she’s a goddess, I think she’s just a neurotic. Being with her is utterly boring."
An Rongrong laughed even more joyously, saying, "I’m going to tell Sister Zhuang that you called her a neurotic."
Chu Feng replied, "Hey girl, are you closer to your Sister Zhuang, or , your legitimate boyfriend? How can you elbow out like that? If you keep it up, I’m going to start questioning your orientation."
An Rongrong giggled and said, "I just like Sister Zhuang, what are you going to do about it, co and bite !"
Chu Feng gritted his teeth and said, "Don’t push , girl. Even a rabbit will bite when cornered. Do you believe I’ll fly to the USA right now just to bite you?"
An Rongrong’s laughter grew even happier, saying, "I finally know why I like you—it’s because you’re a rabbit, and I just love rabbits."
Chu Feng’s teeth clacked audibly as he said, "Little girl, just wait until I fly to the USA, I’ll see how I deal with you."
"Rongrong, it’s ti to eat." Chu Feng heard An Rongrong’s father’s voice over the phone.
"Okay!"
An Rongrong spoke into the phone, "Dad’s calling to eat, I’m going over. You better cooperate with Sister Zhuang well, as it’s also for helping Grandpa."
Chu Feng said, "Alright, I know, I promise to help the An Family beco a prestigious family, fulfilling Grandpa’s wish."
"Mm! I knew you’re the best, bye!"
After hanging up the phone with An Rongrong, Chu Feng was about to rest for a while when Zhuang Xinyan’s call ca in.
"How was the al with Jin Yu today?" Zhuang Xinyan asked directly.
Chu Feng responded, "The al was great, but we ran into Jin Enhui and others."
Zhuang Xinyan, being exceptionally perceptive, imdiately understood the purpose behind Jin Yu’s dinner invitation once Chu Feng ntioned it.
"Jin Yu played that card really well, but I guess, with your personality of never losing out, Jin Yu not only didn’t gain an advantage but probably also lost quite a bit of good stuff, right?" Zhuang Xinyan said.
Chu Feng replied, "Talking to you is just so boring."
Zhuang Xinyan laughed softly, "Chu Feng, in the future I’ll try to act dumber; maybe that will make things more interesting for you."
Chu Feng said, "Then I’ll find it even more uninteresting."
Zhuang Xinyan laughed heartily, while Chu Feng felt sowhat frustrated.
After resting at ho for two days, Chu Feng was back at school, ready for another week of studying.
For Chu Feng, attending school was the most relaxing thing, as he didn’t have to think about anything during that ti.
"Chu Feng, I’ve sent out all the tickets, almost everyone in our class has got them," Qi Houbo ca up to Chu Feng and said.
Chu Feng replied, "Good that they’re sent out."
Qi Houbo said, "It’s just that I feel a little embarrassed for handing out these favors for nothing."
Chu Feng laughed and said, "No need for any embarrassnt, we’re brothers!"
Qi Houbo laughed, "Class leader, rest assured, our class formation will definitely be the most lively and the wildest, guaranteed to ignite the atmosphere of the whole scene."
Chu Feng said, "I believe in your organizational skills."
"Ring, ring!"
Just then, Chu Feng’s phone suddenly rang.
Chu Feng saw that it was Cui Jingyan calling and answered the phone.
"Chu Feng, co to the company, there’s been a problem," Cui Jingyan said with a serious tone on the other end of the line.
