Chu Feng and An Rongrong fell to the ground, suddenly collapsing together. For An Rongrong, who had never had her hand held by a strange man before, such contact was already quite intimate. This made An Rongrong’s little face turn red all the way down to her neck.

"Could you... could you let go of my hand first?" An Rongrong said timidly.

Chu Feng released her hand, then helped An Rongrong to stand up from the ground.

"That... I’m sorry about before!" Chu Feng said awkwardly by way of explanation.

An Rongrong, hearing Chu Feng bring up the incident, blushed even more. She lowered her head, chest heaving, and shook it, saying, "I know you were trying to save , thank you!"

Just as Chu Feng was about to speak, he felt a strong gust of wind from behind him. His eyebrows raised, he turned around and threw a punch with equal force.

"Bang!"

Two fists collided, making a sound like ripping leather.

Their fists had barely touched before separating. Chu Feng took a step back, worried that An Rongrong could be hurt, he forcibly steadied himself, absorbing all the force.

The black-clothed man who had exchanged punches with Chu Feng staggered back three large steps before dissipating the force.

The man in black across from him looked at Chu Feng warily, a trace of seriousness appearing in his eyes.

Chu Feng shook his arm, which was feeling numb, and recognized that the other was an expert as well. The force of that punch, though not as strong as his own, was decidedly beyond that of an ordinary person.

Moreover, from the man’s style and movents, Chu Feng could tell that he must have been a soldier, and certainly not just any ordinary one.

"Release the young lady, or I won’t be polite," the man in black said with an icy tone.

"Xiao Fang, don’t attack. He’s a classmate of mine, and he’s the one who just saved ," An Rongrong, hearing the voice of her bodyguard, hurriedly walked out from behind Chu Feng to stop them from fighting again.

Chu Feng looked at the black-clothed man and asked, "You know him?"

An Rongrong nodded and said, "Xiao Fang is my bodyguard."

Xiao Fang stepped in front of An Rongrong and said, "I apologize, young miss. There was a traffic jam on the road just now. You said he saved you; what happened?"

An Rongrong imdiately detailed the entire incident to Xiao Fang.

After listening, Xiao Fang’s brow furrowed, and he quickly stepped aside to make a phone call to soone.

"Let’s go ho, miss," Xiao Fang returned to An Rongrong’s side and said, not giving Chu Feng a single glance.

An Rongrong turned to look at Chu Feng and said, "Your back is all scratched up; co to my house, and we’ll take care of it."

Spring had long since arrived, and they were all dressed quite lightly. Chu Feng, who had fallen so stiffly just now, indeed had a number of cuts on his back.

Chu Feng shook his head and said, "It’s nothing, just so minor wounds. I’ll take care of them when I get ho."

An Rongrong stubbornly said, "No way, with so many wounds, how can they be minor? If they aren’t treated properly, they could get infected. I don’t want my deskmate who can protect to die young from tetanus."

Chu Feng laughed bitterly, "I an, my lady, can’t you wish well? I’m not destined to die young in such grandeur and valor."

An Rongrong said with a giggling smile, "Co to my house and let take care of them, and then you won’t have to die young."

Chu Feng said helplessly, "Alright."

Xiao Fang regarded Chu Feng with suspicion and said, "Miss, I’m not familiar with his background..."

Before Xiao Fang could finish, An Rongrong cut him off with a stern face, "He’s my classmate and my deskmate. I’m aware of his background. We’ll go ho together; I’ll talk to Grandpa if there’s an issue."

"Alright." Since An Rongrong insisted, Xiao Fang agreed.

Xiao Fang drove quickly out of the downtown area, arriving in the East District, a villa neighborhood only the wealthy could afford to live in.

However, in the villa area, Xiao Fang didn’t stop but continued to drive on, soon climbing up a mountain, eventually stopping in front of a manor halfway up.

Chu Feng, although aware of An Rongrong’s extraordinary family background, was still shocked upon seeing where An Rongrong lived.

Luxury estates and villas were plenty in the urban area, and Chu Feng had seen quite a few of them. However, those luxury hos and villas were simply incomparable to this estate; they paled in comparison.

The entire estate was carved out of a mountainside, covering a hundred acres. With its back against the mountain and facing the sea, it was truly a geomantic treasure land.

Once Xiao Fang confird his identity, the gates slowly opened. Looking at the plum blossom deer occasionally running through the estate and the central fountain, Chu Feng understood what true wealth was.

The BMW quickly stopped at the front door, Xiao Fang got out and opened the car door, saying, "Miss, Old Master An is waiting for you on the second floor. For this gentleman, I can take care of the wound."

An Rongrong said, "No. Chu Feng was injured saving ; I want to treat his wound personally."

Chu Feng said awkwardly, "Actually, this, it’s really nothing much. A simple treatnt would be fine."

An Rongrong, with stubborn determination, took hold of Chu Feng and said, "I said no, and that ans no. You’ll et Grandpa with first, and then I’ll take you to treat your wound."

When the Princess asserted her authority, who dared to stop her? Chu Feng could only let An Rongrong lead him to ’et her parents’.

An Rongrong and Chu Feng arrived at the second floor of this luxurious villa. Coming to her grandfather’s room, An Rongrong knocked on the door and then pushed it open.

Chu Feng looked at the elder sitting in an armchair, full of vitality despite his age, with a baby-like complexion and a kind face, and felt an inexplicable pressure.

Of course, this pressure did not co from the other being a martial expert but rather the commanding presence an authority figure naturally exudes over the years.

"Grandpa, I’m back. This is my classmate, Chu Feng. It was him who saved today," An Rongrong let go of Chu Feng and ran to her grandfather, speaking with a hint of coquetry.

Old Master An gave Chu Feng a once-over, saying amiably, "Heroes erge from the young; truly a dashing youth of heroic bearing."

Chu Feng hurriedly said, "Old Master An, you flatter . I’m just an ordinary high school student."

Old Master An’s gaze was penetrating as he said, "An ordinary high school student who can fend off one of the top soldiers in the special forces with a single punch?"

Under Old Master An’s piercing gaze, Chu Feng felt as if he had no secrets and was enormously pressured.

Chu Feng, resisting the pressure, said, "My family is poor, and I often do heavy chores, so I naturally have a bit more strength."

An Rongrong, sensing her grandfather’s change of deanor, hugged his neck and said, "Grandpa, Chu Feng is my deskmate and my lifesaver. How can Grandpa treat my lifesaver like this? If Grandpa does this, I will never play chess with you again."

Towards his most beloved granddaughter, Old Master An, with a helpless and kind smile, said, "Grandpa was wrong. I shouldn’t have doubted Rongrong’s friend."

Feeling the pressure ebb away, Chu Feng let out a breath of relief and then said, "Old Master An, An Rongrong told that today is your birthday. I haven’t brought anything; I can only wish Old Master An ’may your fortune be as boundless as the East Sea’ verbally."

Old Master An looked at Chu Feng and said, "The fact that you brought Rongrong back safely is the greatest and most precious gift. I should be thanking you."

Hearing her grandfather value her so much, An Rongrong felt sweet inside, but she cheekily said, "Grandpa, I’m not a gift, really."

Old Master An chuckled and said, "Grandpa misspoke. I heard your classmate was injured. Quickly take him to the dical room in the back to treat it."

Chu Feng, feeling out of place, took the initiative, "Old Master An, my injury is just superficial. I won’t trouble you any longer."

An Rongrong, puffing up with anger, said, "I already told you, if it’s not treated properly, you could get tetanus. Just let treat it."

When Princess An starts to be imperious, Chu Feng really isn’t used to it.

Old Master An looked at Chu Feng and smiled, "You saved Rongrong, so stay here tonight for a drink of my birthday wine; consider it my way of saying thanks."

Since the birthday boy insisted, Chu Feng could only comply with respect and, after thanking him, was taken by An Rongrong to have his wound treated.

After An Rongrong and Chu Feng left, Old Master An’s face slowly lost its smile.

"Investigate this young man’s background. If there’s nothing of concern, let him stay around Rongrong and even grant him so benefits. If there is a problem, you know what to do," Old Master An commanded in a steady tone.

"Yes, sir!" An old housekeeper in a black tailcoat, who had appeared unnoticed in a corner of the room, replied respectfully.

Old Master An paused and, with a colder tone, said, "Find out who tried to harm Rongrong and tell once you’ve found out. Anyone who tries to harm Rongrong, no matter who, must pay the price!"
