After finishing his speech, Han Chunsheng turned his head to look at Chu Feng.

Seeing Han Chunsheng look at him, Chu Feng smiled slightly but said nothing.

Because of the arrangent made previously by Luan Fei, there were only two candidates for the class monitor: one was himself, and the other was Chu Feng.

After Luan Fei’s speech had concluded, a warm and lasting applause broke out from the crowd.

Although Luan Fei’s thods were despicable, it had to be admitted that his speech was indeed good.

It was Chu Feng’s turn, and he walked head held high to the podium.

Xie ngying looked at Chu Feng and was actually a bit nervous; she even wondered if she should use her teacher’s identity to give Chu Feng a little help.

Chu Feng cast a reassuring smile towards Xie ngying.

Chu Feng went up to the blackboard, picked up the chalk, and solemnly wrote down his na.

Back in high school, Chu Feng’s academic performance might not have been that great, but his calligraphy was never lacking.

Seeing Chu Feng’s strong and powerful character, Xie ngying nodded her head; this handwriting was enough to explain a lot.

After writing down his na, Chu Feng turned to face everyone and said, "My na is Chu Feng, and I want to be your class monitor!"

That was all Chu Feng said, then he remained silent.

Silence fell below. Was this supposed to be his campaign declaration?

"Domineering!"

Han Chunsheng blurted out after holding back for a while.

The other students, after a slight mont of astonishnt, realized that though Chu Feng’s campaign declaration was only one sentence, it was incredibly domineering. It surpassed Luan Fei’s verbose speech and proved to be unforgettable.

"Clap clap! Well done, Chu Feng! We need a class monitor with such a domineering presence like you!" Tie Mu was the first to start applauding, followed by the rest of the class joining in with enthusiastic clapping.

Even Xie ngying joined in the applause.

"This kid is truly domineering. With just one sentence, he has negated all of Luan Fei’s previous remarks," Xie ngying thought to herself.

"What gives you the right!" Luan Fei, seeing everyone’s excited faces, stood up and questioned, knowing he couldn’t let Chu Feng succeed easily.

Luan Fei’s sudden standing up brought the applause to an abrupt stop.

"Luan Fei, do you have no sha at all? We didn’t interrupt you when you were speaking, so why are you so nervous and thinking you’re going to lose even before we’ve started voting?" Qi Houbo said with a mocking tone.

Even as he stood up, Luan Fei knew he was too hasty. It was a clear sign of his vulnerability, and this act was really too impatient.

Since he had already stood up, Luan Fei had no choice but to brace himself and stand firm.

Chu Feng looked at Luan Fei and said forcefully, "I deserve it because I am Chu Feng, because I want to be the class monitor, and because I can be responsible for all thirty-nine classmates, including you!"

Chu Feng’s words were forceful, inspiring a fervor in the listeners and ringing with a profound clarity.

The class monitor they needed was soone who was responsible for themselves. This was far more impactful than Luan Fei’s lengthy speech.

"Clap clap!"

Once again, the class erupted into fervent applause, while Luan Fei sat back down, his face pale and his spirit deflated. He knew he had lost in this round.

But Luan Fei did not give up, because he believed in the vote still to co.

"Alright! Classmates, the voting will now begin. Write down the candidate you choose," Xie ngying stood up and said.

Before long, the votes from the entire class were tallied up.

Xie ngying began to count the votes in front of the whole class.

Due to Chu Feng’s domineering declaration, the other class leader positions had attracted little attention. Everyone’s focus was entirely on the position of class president.

In the beginning, a few votes for Chu Feng allowed Luan Fei to remain sowhat composed, but as the counting went on, and the votes were all for Luan Fei, his face turned extrely ugly.

In the end, the results of the vote were Chu Feng’s resounding victory with thirty-nine to one.

"So people really do have the nerve to vote for themselves," Tie Mu said loudly and sarcastically as he looked at the final tally on the blackboard.

Luan Fei’s face turned green and then red, unable to believe that the results had turned out this way.

Everything seed fine during yesterday’s dinner and foot massage, but the outco was completely different.

"Okay! The class officers have been decided. The officers should stay behind; other students may return to their dorms to rest," Xie ngying, as a teacher, couldn’t just stand by and watch this unfold.

Luan Fei had no idea how he managed to get back to his dorm room. But once there, he hated Chu Feng even more.

"You’ve made lose so much face; I, Luan Fei, will rember this. I will definitely pay you back tenfold," Luan Fei said through clenched teeth, seething with anger.

Xie ngying kept the class officers behind simply to discuss so routine classwork.

Eventually, the other class officers left, leaving only Chu Feng behind.

Seeing that the others had left, Chu Feng spoke, "Sister ngying, keeping just behind, everyone might suspect I achieved this position of class president because you ’showed favoritism’."

Xie ngying’s pretty face blushed as she spat back, "Shaless, even if I did show favoritism, it wouldn’t be towards soone like you."

Chu Feng breathed a sigh of relief, "As long as it’s not favoritism, that’s good."

Seeing Chu Feng’s reaction, Xie ngying was annoyed enough to raise her fist and smash it onto Chu Feng’s shoulder, "You naughty boy, what are you suggesting, that I’m not good enough to ’show favoritism’ towards you?"

Chu Feng replied, "Good enough, of course! How about I let you ’show favoritism’ right now?"

Xie ngying, looking at Chu Feng’s rascally air, stamped her foot in frustration and exclaid, "Shaless little rascal."

Chu Feng responded, "Sister ngying, how am I a rascal? It was clearly you who said..."

Before Chu Feng could finish speaking, he felt his ear being pinched by Xie ngying, "You dare to speak?"

Chu Feng hastened to beg for rcy, "Sister ngying, I was wrong; I won’t say it anymore!"

Seeing Chu Feng capitulate, Xie ngying finally released her hand.

Chu Feng asked, "Sister ngying, why did you keep behind? Is there sothing you need?"

When it ca to official business, Xie ngying beca serious, "Your company has so many matters awaiting your attention; do you really have the energy to take care of class affairs as well?"

Xie ngying didn’t ntion it, and Chu Feng hadn’t really thought about it, but now that Xie ngying brought it up, Chu Feng furrowed his brow.

After a mont of contemplation, Chu Feng said, "For now, the company doesn’t need to handle things. Sister Yan and Mia are there, so I don’t have much to manage. And since I have taken on the role of class president, I will definitely perform well. If in the future I really can’t devote the necessary energy, I will take the initiative to step down."

Xie ngying saw that Chu Feng had a plan and nodded, "That’s for the best, just don’t say you will do it and then not follow through."

Chu Feng nodded, "Don’t worry, Sister ngying, I won’t make empty promises."

After a pause, Chu Feng suddenly noticed a ring on the ring finger of Xie ngying’s right hand.

"Sister ngying, are you getting married?" Chu Feng asked.
