Kuoh Academy's sports field was separated from the old school building by a small grove of trees.
Riser stood at the center of the sports field with his fourteen servants, facing the woods directly and waiting for Rias and her group to walk into his trap.
Before long, Rias led her servants out of the forest path, standing directly in front of Riser.
Riser brushed his hair back, looking at Rias with a smug expression, his eyes glancing sideways as he sized her up.
"So, you've finally co to your senses, Rias! Co over then; my arms are always open for you."
He slowly spread his arms, making a gesture of embracing.
Rias frowned slightly, her gaze icy as she looked at Riser. She parted her red lips and said coldly:
"It's ti for the final battle, Riser! Let's settle this once and for all!"
Riser was montarily stunned, then burst into maniacal laughter.
"Ha~ha~ha~~ Are you joking, Rias? I have fifteen people on my side! Look at your servants, one, two, three, four, with you, that's only five!"
"What are you going to fight with?" Riser tugged at the collar of his white shirt, speaking with disdain.
"Ah!!!"
A scream ca from afar, and everyone's gaze turned toward the source of the sound.
Three minutes before Rias arrived at the sports field, Haru suddenly appeared in the woods beside the field. He noticed a blonde girl leaning against a large tree, her gaze fixed on the center of the field.
He took large strides forward.
With a light tap, Haru placed his left hand on the tree trunk, looking at the girl with a gentle smile.
Surprised by his sudden appearance, the girl trembled slightly. Her deep blue eyes reflected a mix of surprise and uncertainty, and her golden twin-tailed curls quivered along with her.
Haru's sharp gaze observed the girl. She wore a pink princess dress with a cute bow tied at the collar. Her delicate and lovely face radiated charm, and her startled expression only added to her appeal.
Unable to retreat because of the tree behind her, the girl watched as Haru approached. Shyness and a hint of apprehension filled her deep blue eyes. She stamred:
"Are you... Miss Rias Gremory's servant? Why... did you suddenly appear?"
"That's not important. What's important is, what's your na, lovely miss?" Haru asked softly, gazing kindly at the blonde girl before him.
"Ravel... Ravel Phoenix!"
Hearing his question, Ravel hesitated for a mont. But due to her good upbringing, she politely introduced herself despite the unexpected encounter.
Haru smiled warmly. "A pleasure to et you, Ravel. After the Rating Ga is over, would you like to watch a movie together? I hear there's a great educational film showing~"
Feeling a bit flustered, Ravel's cheeks flushed. She quickly composed herself and replied, "I appreciate the offer, but I must focus on the ga right now."
Haru nodded understandingly. "Of course, duty cos first."
At that mont, a scorching fireball suddenly hurtled toward them.
Haru casually waved his hand, dispersing the attack. He turned his gaze toward the center of the sports field, where an enraged Riser was launching attacks. Haru's tone was filled with annoyance.
"What are you doing? Can't you see we're having a conversation?"
Approaching his sister...
Riser's face darkened imdiately. He said coldly, "A lowly devil like you trying to get close to a pure-blood noble of the Phoenix family? I've decided, I'll turn you to ashes with my next strike!"
"Lord Riser is so cool~~!!!"
"Lord Riser is serious now; that devil is dood!"
Riser's female servants cheered for him with admiration.
Hearing their support, Riser smirked, running a hand through his hair to slick it back, displaying a roguish grin.
Golden magic power surged from Riser's body. He shouted loudly, "Cry, scream, and then... die!"
The imnse magic transford into a phoenix with a wingspan of thirty ters. Flapping its clearly defined wings, it rushed rapidly toward Haru.
The massive phoenix engulfed Haru's figure.
With a popping sound, like a balloon bursting.
Everyone's pupils contracted sharply as they stared blankly at the scene before them.
Haru was still standing in front of Ravel, unhard. The mighty flaming phoenix from earlier seed to have never existed.
Riser's face flushed red, not from embarrassnt, but from rage causing blood to rush to his face. Veins bulged on his forehead, and his hands trembled as his magic power intensified further.
One, two, three, a total of five flaming birds appeared around Riser. The sudden increase in temperature caused the air to distort, reaching temperatures as high as 1,000 degrees Celsius.
Screech~~~
The five fire-ford phoenixes let out a unified cry, flapping their wings as they howled toward Haru's back.
Boom!!
Haru's figure was engulfed in the explosion caused by the flaming birds hitting the ground, creating a massive cloud of dust.
Koneko turned her head away, unable to watch.
Akeno clenched her fists, her face expressionless as she looked at the billowing dust.
Asia trembled, slowly closing her eyes.
Rias lips curled up slightly, revealing a bright smile.
Riser regained his arrogant deanor, spreading his hands helplessly and saying softly, "As expected, it was just a fluke earlier."
Outside the dinsion, many dukes stared intently at the sports field shrouded in dust. So of them felt an inexplicable unease.
The dust gradually settled...
