Liu ihua sat in the main hall opposite three n.

"Where is the Sect Master?" one of the n asked.

"The Sect Master is currently busy with cultivation. Feel free to tell what you want, and I’ll pass on this information when she cos out," she said with a sweet smile.

Another of the n got up, drawing his sword. "What is this? A small eighth-grade sect dares to put on airs with mbers of the Dark Moon Hall?" he questioned angrily.

Liu ihua was taken aback when she heard that na. Dark Moon Hall was a nearby demonic sect. Although the area around them had three seventh-grade righteous sects, they still didn’t dare to easily provoke the Dark Moon Hall.

She wore a serious expression. She understood why the Dark Moon Hall had sent people here - they were probably thinking of taking this newly ford sect under their wing before the righteous sects did.

Things were getting complicated, she thought. Although she didn’t want to be part of the demonic faction, she wondered what the Sect Master would choose. After all, offending the Dark Moon Hall wasn’t a good idea.

"I’ll go notify the Sect Master," she said, standing up.

The man who had stood up before nodded in satisfaction. This was how a lower-tier sect was supposed to act in front of them.

As Liu ihua was about to step out, a voice cut through the hall.

"No need."

It was Xueling’s voice.

Liu ihua’s face brightened upon hearing the sect master’s voice. The Sect Master would surely know how to handle the situation... or not. Her earlier smile slowly faded as she watched the heads of the Dark Moon Hall mbers fly off their bodies.

She hadn’t even seen the Sect Master yet - just heard her voice - yet she had already executed these people. Just how strong had she gotten in that short period of ti?

No, that’s not what’s important. To think that she would actually kill mbers of the Dark Moon Hall so openly, without even giving them a chance to speak.

"Why did you allow such trash into the sect?" Xueling asked as she walked into the hall, followed by Yu Tian.

It was then that Liu ihua finally saw her. She was frozen for a mont, unable to speak. The Sect Master seed to have changed - not just in appearance, but also in the aura she exerted. At the mont, she wasn’t letting out any aura, yet it made her Daoist heart tremble slightly.

Was this the level of geniuses?

"My apologies, Sect Master," she said with a bow as Xueling reached her position.

Yu Tian, who was walking next to her, didn’t stop and walked over to the bodies of the demonic cult mbers. She glanced at him, thinking to herself that he was even stranger than the Sect Master.

Even though he didn’t let out any aura - not even the passive intimidation of a high-level fighter - she knew he couldn’t be underestimated. She even suspected that he was the true mastermind behind the sect.

She sighed internally. Two monsters had awakened in the cultivation world.

...

"Sect Master... isn’t it dangerous to offend the Dark Moon Hall?" Liu ihua asked.

"Do you want us to join the demonic faction?" Xueling asked.

"No," Liu ihua said with a sigh. Even so, weren’t there better ways to go about it? This was a clear declaration of war, and the Dark Moon Hall would never let this slide. With their sect having just recently ford and without any backing...

Xueling placed her hand on Liu ihua’s shoulder and gave her a reassuring smile. "Don’t worry. Everything is going according to plan," she said.

ihua’s eyes widened. Was the Sect Master scheming sothing? If so, then it was bound to be sothing big.

"I see. Then I’m relieved to hear that," she said. "I’ll excuse myself now."

As she began walking, she thought to herself that she was worried about the potential retaliation. But if those two knew what they were doing, then there was probably nothing to worry about. Even so, she would prepare for trouble just in case.

Xueling watched her leave before turning around. "Did you find anything interesting?" she asked.

"You could say that," Yu Tian said.

"What is it? A treasure? Spirit stones?" she asked in excitent.

"A demonic manual," Yu Tian responded.

Her face dropped. "That’s what you call interesting?" she spoke in disappointnt.

"You rember that I have an inner core, right?" he asked.

She nodded.

"From what I can see, demonic thods are based off monsters... do you see where this is going..." he spoke.

Her eyes widened. "Since you’re like a monster, they’re perfect for you," she said.

Yu Tian looked at the things he had gotten from those three. There were so spirit stones - not worth much. There were also so basic pills, and finally, the demonic manual. Although it was compatible with him, he didn’t want to use it as it was still a disgusting thod, mostly relying on refining others, just like Su Qing’s thod.

Even so, the thod was great. It could give him the basics of the cultivation ideology and the thod they use to harness the power of monsters. With this basis, he could make sothing great for himself.

"I’m going back. I need to research this," Yu Tian said, flying away.

Xueling watched him fly off. She then looked at the corpses in the hall and sighed, her shoulders sagging.

Yu Tian arrived in her residence and instantly went to the study room, picking up pen and paper and beginning to decipher the thods used by the demonic sect.

A few hours later, Xueling returned.

She noticed Yu Tian - he was still in this state, trying his best to analyze the thods. The entire study room was filled with paper. She walked in and sat in the corner, choosing not to disturb him.

As she observed him work more and more, her face began reddening slightly. She thought that he looked quite cute when he was so serious like that. She covered her face in embarrassnt. She then straightened herself and decided to cultivate to calm herself.

She rembered that during the battle before, when Yu Tian had called for help, her mind was able to breakthrough the barrier and enter the third level. She decided to pay so attention to it.

...

A/N: Error in last Chapter, it says yu tian enters 5th level mind but actually, its 4th level as he was in the 3rd level.
