Xueling looked at Yu Tian with a flustered expression. "You... you want to stay in the sa room?" she stamred.

"That’s right," he replied nonchalantly.

"Why?" she asked in a soft voice.

"Why? If we are in separate rooms, it’s just inconvenient since you’ll still have to co to my room for to help you with cultivation. And since we don’t really need to sleep, then we’ll almost always be together. Just thought it would be more convenient if we stayed in the sa room," he said.

"I see. So that’s how it is," she said. She thought to herself that it sowhat made sense. "Alright then, we’ll stay in the sa room," she said.

They had stayed in the sa room before, so what did it matter?

Besides, she needed to keep an eye on him just in case.

She thought to herself that her brothers were quite scheming. They might decide to do sothing to him when she wasn’t looking. Even though he was within her residence, she didn’t believe they didn’t have spies all around her, especially the first brother.

It would be really bad if sothing happened to him.

"Do you have any belongings in the outer sect? I can take you to get them," she said.

He smiled. "Even if I did, after being gone for three days, they would’ve already found a new owner," he said.

She thought to herself that the outer sect was really fierce. She then observed him from head to toe, he really couldn’t walk around like this.

"Since you’re no longer a servant, I’ll go fetch new clothes and identification for you," she said.

"No need to worry about that. I’ll go fetch them myself. I can also take the chance to look around the inner sect," he said.

"No. You can’t," she said. She then sighed. "If you go, you’ll just be looked down upon and so people might be sent by my brothers to cause a scene. Then I’ll have to co anyway to beat them up. Then they’ll develop a grudge against you and start causing problems. Then I’ll have to kill them. It’s all too much work," she said.

Yu Tian looked at her in surprise. "You’re quite creative. Were you a scholar before?" he asked.

Her expression froze. She then smiled. "Of course not. How could the daughter of the sect master have been a scholar?" she said.

Yu Tian looked at her. He confird with his calculation that she really wasn’t a scholar. He wondered if she was related to one.

[100%]

If this was the case, then she was related to a noble.

What was a noble doing in a cultivation sect?

Although there were thousands of sects in the empire, the cultivation world and the empire didn’t get along. The emperor wanted to rule the nation, but the cultivation sects didn’t want to be restrained by the empire. This is what he’d heard. Well, he supposed it didn’t really matter to him.

"Anyway, stay here," she said before leaving.

...

After Xueling left, Yu Tian looked around the large house until he ca across a library.

In the library, there were quite a number of books. What surprised him was that these weren’t manuals but rather novels. Although novels were popular in the mortal world, they weren’t as popular to cultivators.

He picked one and flipped through the pages. After so ti, he closed the book and placed it back. He thought to himself that it was quite interesting. It might even be useful for his calculation ability.

The way the ability worked was through his creativity. Although he could narrow down things by asking multiple questions, knowing what to ask was also important. If he boosted his creativity, he might be able to easily narrow down things.

He decided to check it out later.

He walked over to the entrance of the house and opened the door. "Welco back," he said to Xueling who landed before him.

The two of them walked back into the house. She took sothing out of her spatial bag. "This is your new identity plaque. Don’t lose it," she said, handing it over to him.

"You got a spatial ring before, right?" she asked.

Yu Tian nodded, showing it on his fingers. She covered his hand with hers.

"It’s better if you don’t show it around," she said. "Spatial rings are really valuable and showing it around could lead to problems. Use this instead," she said, handing him a spatial bag just like hers.

"Alright," he said, removing the ring from his finger and putting it in his pocket.

"This spatial bag has all the items you need in it. If anything is missing, just ask ," she said.

Yu Tian nodded and scanned the items in the pouch. "Everything looks fine," he said.

"Good," she said before getting up. "I want to cultivate my martial arts. Do you want to co watch?" she asked. "Maybe you can even help ," she said.

He shook his head. "Not at the mont," he said.

"But you can leave the manual you practice with and I can try to improve it for you," he said. "After that, I’ll practice my mind. Then I can help you cultivate during the night," he said. "This works for you, right?" he asked.

"Yes, it’s perfect. I normally cultivate my martial arts during the day and my cultivation at night." She then looked at him. "What about you? When will you practice your cultivation?" she asked.

"It’s no problem. If I can breakthrough to level two of the mind, my processing power will increase and I will be able to cultivate as I help you," he said.

She was shocked by his statent. How could he say such a crazy thing as if it was that easy?

Entering the mind realm was already incredibly hard below the Core Formation realm, let alone the second level. Then again, maybe her vision was too narrow. She rembered that it had taken her three months to do it. Yu Tian was much more capable than her, so it might take him a shorter ti.

"Maybe a week?" she estimated. Was she overestimating him? A week was a really short ti. Well, he had divine-grade enlightennt, so it should be possible.
