[Task: Reach Rank #1 on Any Platform]

[Reward Distribution in Progress...]

[Congratulations, Old Veteran! You have earned 10,188 Coback Points...]

[Congratulations, Old Veteran! You have acquired "syrsoN’s Scout Techniques"...]

[Congratulations, Old Veteran! You have obtained the "Battle-Worn Mousepad"...]

[Congratulations, Old Veteran! You have received one "Random Hextech Card"...]

Jiang Yang looked at the rewards from this task.

He had been anticipating this for a long ti—after all, reaching Rank #1 on any platform was no small feat for him.

Now that he had completed the task, a glance at the rewards showed they were quite generous.

First, there were over 10,000 Coback Points.

For soone as deep in debt as he was, this was a pretty hefty sum.

But he had no regrets about previously spending his points on [NIKO’s Pre-Aiming]—after all, that skill had significantly improved his gaplay.

Then there was "syrsoN’s Scout Techniques."

Jiang Yang was well aware of syrsoN—currently a sniper for the German team BIG. Due to his personality, he was nicknad "The Socially Anxious Sniper God." His skills with the Scout were one of his signature moves.

Jiang Yang had once seen syrsoN’s POV (Point of View) gaplay, and it was downright insane.

In ranked matches, syrsoN would run around with a Scout, actively hunting opponents—it was absolutely psychotic.

The way syrsoN wielded a Scout, he might as well have been a "Social Terrorist," chasing people down with a sniper rifle.

Jiang Yang himself didn’t use the Scout very often. Thanks to his ECO Clutch abilities, he rarely had to worry about his in-ga economy.

He played with the AWP much more frequently.

But the Scout was a weapon with great potential.

It dealt around 70 damage to the body and was an instant kill with a headshot.

The best part? It only cost $1700.

Sure, the Desert Eagle could achieve similar results, but at longer distances, a sniper rifle had a distinct advantage.

[Would you like to activate "syrsoN’s Scout Techniques"?]

"Yes."

The next mont, Jiang Yang found himself in that familiar training space again, surrounded by a misty white haze.

Only the computer in front of him remained clear.

A familiar little figure appeared on the screen.

[Please use the Scout to eliminate all enemies in your field of vision...]

Then, he saw himself spawn on the A Site of Dust2, holding a Scout in his hands.

He scoped in and aid at A Long, as his minimap indicated that his teammates were holding Short.

The Terrorists quickly executed their site take-over, deploying smokes and flashbangs toward CT Spawn.

Jiang Yang turned away to dodge the flash, then peeked out and aid toward Pit.

His decision-making was correct—there was indeed an enemy in Pit, and he instantly took them down with one shot.

Then, he turned to check A Long Wall for another opponent and fired his Scout.

But he was swiftly counter-sniped.

He had only managed 1.5 kills before getting eliminated—not exactly a great performance.

The next mont, a highlight clip of syrsoN’s gaplay played in his mind.

When syrsoN wielded the Scout, his playstyle was completely different from Jiang Yang’s.

Standing on A Site, syrsoN constantly peeked, playing both aggressively and cautiously at the sa ti—it was an oddly effective style.

Jiang Yang analyzed the footage carefully and tried to replicate the moves a few tis, finally understanding the difference.

He wasn't used to playing the Scout and was treating it like an AWP.

But the Scout and AWP had significant differences.

The Scout had faster movent speed, allowing for quicker repositioning.

That’s why syrsoN used his mobility to juke opponents, making it harder for them to land shots.

Moreover, when using a Scout, he aid slightly higher, prioritizing headshots for instant kills.

Understanding the Scout’s chanics, Jiang Yang’s surroundings gradually dissolved.

[syrsoN’s Scout Techniques (Beginner Level)]

[Progress: (0/1000)]

[Effect: Slightly improves movent agility when using the Scout.]

Jiang Yang then looked at the other rewards.

[Item: Battle-Worn Mousepad]

[Description: This mousepad has endured the test of ti and has completely adapted to Old Veteran’s right hand. In each ga, the more you rub it, the better your aim becos.]

At first glance, Jiang Yang saw an absolutely tattered mousepad—it looked like sothing salvaged from a junkyard.

The visible physical wear, curled edges, and layered fabric made him question if this thing was even usable.

This wasn’t just old—this was ancient relic-level.

But when he read the effect, he was pleasantly surprised.

In FPS gas, aiming precision is crucial.

And this effect basically ant "the longer you play, the sharper your aim gets."

Overti matches were common in CS:GO, and if things got intense, so gas could turn into endurance battles.

If he could maintain top-tier aim during overti, he could single-handedly clutch the ga.

(Overti Jiang Yang: 👀)

With that in mind, his perspective on the mousepad completely changed.

It wasn’t "worn-out." It was "a piece of history."

Finally, there was another Hextech Card.

His previous "Buy Now, Pay Later" card had been a lifesaver, allowing him to obtain [NIKO’s Pre-Aiming] before it disappeared from the shop.

Now, with another card in hand, he was eager to see what effect it had.

He imdiately opened his inventory and used the Hextech Card.

[Congratulations! You have obtained "Hextech: Dungeon Boss."]

[Description: Upon activation, you will enter a special simulation match. Your team will always have 3 or fewer players, but you will receive the best weapons available. Strive to win the match. (1/1)]

Holy sh*t.

What kind of hellhole was this?

Jiang Yang initially thought he was going to fight a boss.

Turns out, the Hextech system was training him to beco one.

[Would you like to activate "Hextech: Dungeon Boss"?]

"Yes!"

The next second, he spawned on Nuke as an attacker.

A briefing played in his mind:

The IGL (in-ga leader) had called for fake pressure on the inner site, while the outside group was to push K1.Inside push failed—one player down. The team regrouped to push Secret, but another teammate got sniped opening the door.

Now it was a 3v5 clutch scenario.

Jiang Yang was equipped with an AWP.

Spotting an enemy at Iron Plate, he peeked and landed a shot.

Then, hearing footsteps in Vent, he pre-aid and flicked—another kill.

He repositioned and switched to his P250, swiftly taking down another enemy.

Unfortunately, an opponent from behind finished him off.

He had clutched 3 kills, leaving the rest to his teammates.

His teammates… imdiately threw the round.

"Unlucky."

Instinctively, Jiang Yang typed a ssage to comfort his teammates, only to realize—this was just a simulation.

And this was only the beginning of his "Dungeon Boss" training…
