His head snapped forward towards Malrik’s position as he heard the sound of footsteps. It was Malrik approaching with calm, indifferent steps, with the same smile on his face that he showed everyone.

What Threshold XI didn’t know was that Malrik’s strength was hardly exaggerated. Within the Wargrave family, he was second only to Azaron and Morthen, while he could go toe-to-toe with Damian. He was already stronger than the Elders, who were his Uncles and Aunts.

So, unless Malrik was fighting any of the Upper Thresholds, there was no way of losing in a battlefield like this.

"Aren’t you a bit too weak to be a Threshold?" Malrik asked as he walked, his hand in his pocket as Solaris was already sheathed.

Threshold XI smiled at Malrik’s words. He wasn’t offended. Although he had his pride, he wasn’t offended by such things.

But alas, the only way for him, Threshold XI, to win any battle here was to fight an Elder, and not someone like Malrik.

"It seems it’s time to stop holding back," Threshold XI spoke, his tone calm.

The next moment, his Astra energy stirred with full force as his own shadow twisted, then peeled off the earth ever so slowly as it stood and took the shape and image of Threshold XI.

Malrik arched an eyebrow, wondering if this was the holding back the man before him was talking about. He simply chuckled as he shook his head; he was truly amused. Even if the clone or whatever could use a hundred percent or even two hundred percent of the original Threshold XI’s ability, it was still useless and futile, as the gap between them couldn’t be closed by simply adding another person to the group.

An ant was no different from a couple of ants.

As Malrik opened his mouth to speak, a katana tore through his brain, tearing from the back of his skull to the front with sickening ease, blood splattering outward. Malrik stood rooted on the spot, shocked by the sudden turn of events.

He didn’t create a distance between himself and the sudden attacker. Instead, he stood his ground. His head turned, and standing behind Malrik was... another Malrik.

The second Malrik blurred backwards, putting distance between himself and the real Malrik.

Malrik frowned. He couldn’t understand how another version of himself had appeared. His eyes stayed on the ’Malrik’ before him for a moment before an idea suddenly came to him. His blue eyes shifted towards his own shadow on the ground, but it wasn’t there.

Just as Threshold XI could resurrect his own shadow, he could resurrect the shadows of his enemies and mand them to fight for him.

"So, how do you like my ability?" Threshold XI asked with a smirk on his face as ’Malrik’ walked over to his side and stood beside its master.

Malrik felt strange watching the scene. He simply shook his head as his hand rose and held the handle of the katana that pierced his brain, then he pulled it backwards. A gaping injury could be seen, but it swiftly healed under the blessings of the Sun.

He clenched his fist, and immediately the katana shattered into pieces, as at the end of the day, what ’Malrik’ had was a fake soul-bound weapon.

Soul-bound weapons weren’t so easy to replicate, as only FatelessPen remained the only person who could perform such a feat.

"Let’s test the limits of my shadow, shall we?" Malrik spoke with an interested tone.

His hand rose ever so slowly, and ’Malrik’ copied his move as they both raised their hands towards the Sun, their index finger pointing at it as the next moment, they both called upon the power of the Sun.

And the Sun answered both of them at the same time as four golden-orange pillars of Solar Energy tore downwards from the sky, tearing into both Malriks and both Threshold XIs.

’Malrik’ was stunned, as he hadn’t expected Malrik to unleash a Sun Beam on everybody at the same time.

Malrik stood with an indifferent smile as the Solar Beam transformed the entire battlefield into a literal lake of fire, as everything turned to lava, but he was unaffected. After all, he was blessed by the Sun. How could the Sun harm him?

But ’Malrik’ and the two Threshold XIs weren’t faring so well as the Sun burned them all alive, their screams echoing through the entire battlefield.

’Malrik’ immediately tapped into his Light affinity as he used his Light movement technique to escape the Solar Beam, but the moment he did, Malrik was already there waiting, as though he had anticipated the movement.

His hand rose once more, but this time it was a backhand slap as he slapped ’Malrik’ across the cheek, sending the shadow flying thousands of miles.

"It seems that whatever Shadow you call upon, they are restricted to your own power level," Malrik analyzed in a calm tone.

If that wasn’t the case, and each shadow Threshold XI called upon was at the power of the original owner, then he would be Threshold IV at minimum and not Threshold XI.

"An interesting ability, but still greatly limited," he stated in finality as he had destroyed ’Malrik’ with that singular slap.

His blue eyes turned towards the two Threshold XIs who still stood under the Solar Beam as they couldn’t escape. Their clothes had burned as they were now naked, their skin burned, their bodies breaking apart as though being erased from existence with every passing moment.

The shadow Threshold XI was the first to die, leaving only the real Threshold XI to continue screaming in pain as fear flickered in his eyes. He finally understood the distance, no, the chasm that separated him from the existence known as The Bloodline Eraser.

"Goodbye, Threshold XI," Malrik stated as he turned around, the power behind the Solar Beam increasing as it immediately erased Threshold XI from existence with no chance of resurrection of any kind.

And with that, the battlefield returned to silence as The Bloodline Eraser had triumphed without even trying. Such was the type of power he possessed, or rather... the power he showed.
