Chapter 665: Information-1

"Before you and everyone else left, we traded information, but you’ve not fulfilled your own side of the bargain," Asher spoke as his mind snapped back to the information exchange between him and Malrik that had begun this entire madness, the information regarding who had attacked Wuthenya, the Second Moon, still lingering heavily in his thoughts.

Hearing Asher’s words, Malrik nodded his head, as that was one of the reasons he had co to Asher’s room; after all, their father had told him that if he had anything to tell Asher, he should do so, as Asher needed to return and complete his mission without unnecessary delays.

"Hmmm... where do I begin," Malrik stated as he fell into his thoughts, his gaze briefly lowering as he considered how best to phrase what he was about to say; after a mont of contemplation, he spoke, "just as you know, Emovirae are beings, creatures born from emotions, emotions that seem to originate from the soul itself," he paused for a mont, then added, "but there is a higher class of beings above these Emovirae."

Hearing Malrik’s words, Asher froze in his seat again, stunned by the information he had just received. He already knew how dangerous upper-level Emovirae were, they were intelligent, cunning, patient, and now, he was being told that a higher class of beings than them existed.

Malrik simply ignored Asher’s shocked expression as he continued speaking, "these beings are called Sinvaira(s), but unlike Emovirae that are born from emotions, these beings are born from the sins committed by the Human race," Malrik t Asher’s gaze as he spoke, his tone steady and deliberate, "unlike Emovirae who are born and have to cultivate their own power and strength, Sinvairas are already born at the Crownstar Life Rank, aning all they need to do is master their innate ability and grow stronger," he paused for a mont as though allowing Asher’s thought process to catch up with the weight of his words.

’Born at the Crownstar Life Rank?’ Asher could barely believe his ears; he could already imagine how terrifying such beings would be, and now, one such being had attacked Wuthenya, turning what he had assud to be an isolated incident into sothing far more ominous.

"No one knows when they started to appear; after all, they are extrely mysterious. Everyone who has ever seen one has ended up dying to their formidable power; hence, we barely have any records on them," Malrik continued speaking, his tone unchanged, "but according to so old records, they are said to have been here since the first Emovira was born, aning they have been surviving for almost twenty thousand years, if that information is true, that is. So old records also state that they appeared much later than that tifra, but nobody from twenty thousand years ago is still alive to verify that information, so we don’t exactly know," he sighed as he shook his head, the uncertainty of it all evident even in his composed deanor.

Asher stayed silent as his thoughts ran at full throttle, his mind rapidly attempting to process everything he had just heard. Originally, when he had transmigrated into this world, he had started guessing which cliché this world would follow, clichés like dungeons and towers, or perhaps a Demon invasion with a Demon Lord waiting in the background for the Hero, who was undoubtedly a commoner, to rise to his level before they finally clashed in so grand, inevitable confrontation.

But now... it seed as though those clichés were the easy modes in novels and fantasies, simplified narratives that paled in comparison to the reality of this world.

After all, if one thought about it, beings born from the sins of the Human race would be anything but weak, and they were the very definition of ancient in every sense of the word, with almost no reliable information about them.

And now, there was the organisation known as ’The Maddened,’ or ’The Consud,’ or ’The Corrupted,’ entities that were just as mysterious and unsettling as the Sinvairas themselves, their existence adding yet another layer of uncertainty to an already dangerous world.

With these two behemoths, how could one possibly live freely in such a world? And on top of that, various territories experienced Monster Tide invasions intermittently, without rest or warning, making stability nothing more than an illusion.

This world was the real definition of Hell Mode, if it were a ga.

Asher couldn’t help but feel thankful to the system. He wasn’t delusional; although he was intelligent and possessed a perfect mory, at the end of the day, that didn’t translate into any form of talent or ability in the world of Crymora. If he hadn’t obtained the Absolute Physique from the system, all he would have had was his mory, and even with that perfect mory, he couldn’t sche as effectively as he had tried to back on Earth during his ti as Ethan.

He would struggle just to survive in this world, and that was an undeniable fact.

Asher suddenly felt an imnse pressure to beco stronger; these Sinvairas had attacked Wuthenya, who was to say he wouldn’t be next? Although Malrik had saved Wuthenya, who was to say Malrik would be there to save him? Such a being could end him before he could even bring out Malrik’s talisman from his system inventory, and even Virelass’ Position Marker would be useless, as such beings could move at speeds that surpassed thought itself, and both Asher and Virelass required conscious thought to activate the Position Marker ability.

’Maybe I should have really jumped from the window back then,’ Asher thought to himself; back when he had transmigrated, he had been tempted to jump through the window and end it all so he could return to Jennifer, but there had been no guarantee he would return, and he wasn’t a suicidal person to begin with.

’Sigh... I’m already missing my past life as Ethan,’ he massaged his temples as his thoughts spiraled further out of control, each realization weighing heavier than the last.

[It seems the Host finally understands that the Host is only alive due to the Newbie Gift Package]

The system chid as though bragging, its tone almost smug as Asher ca to his realization.

’More reason you should give

more gift packages,’ Asher replied, using the mont to push his luck and ask for another gift without hesitation.

[....]

The system seed to regret ever speaking, choosing silence instead, as though reminded of just how greedy its Host could be when given even the slightest opportunity.

’Sigh... so many enemies,’ Asher shook his head as he remained silent, the weight of everything pressing down on him.

’I wonder what their goals are?’ he couldn’t help but think; surely these Sinvairas had been alive for thousands of years, what goal could they possibly have that they hadn’t achieved after all this ti, despite being born at the Crownstar Life Rank?

’Destruction of the world?’ he considered it, but it seed almost unrealistic, as that would be a suicidal goal, as they too would perish in the process; ’maybe summoning so kind of higher existence,’ he shook his head, choosing to set aside their possible motives for now, as speculation without evidence would only lead him further into unnecessary confusion.
