Fu Yichen found it unbelievable, staring dumbfounded at Pei Liyan, "Pei, I apologize to her?"
"Apologize!" Pei Liyan commanded again in a deeper voice, with an indisputable tone.
Qiao Rui was also puzzled, as Pei Liyan just now had not held this attitude; his sudden change to defend her left her sowhat confused.
This man really was fickle.
Fu Yichen, seeing Pei Liyan’s overbearing attitude, opened his mouth reluctantly and said to Qiao Rui, "I’m sorry."

"What?" Qiao Yufei’s voice rose sharply upon hearing, "I heard that the eldest sister has moved to the villa area where you and Pei Liyan live and even started working at Pei Liyan’s company. Why didn’t she invite us other sisters to warm the house?"
"Oh, the eldest sister said she will invite you later, to do it separately."
"Bullshit!" Qiao Yufei scoffed, "I know what she’s thinking. I’m going to gather the other sisters and head over there right now."
Qiao Rui looked at Qiao Xiang and said into the phone, "Second sister!"
But the call had already ended.
And then, Qiao Xiang’s phone rang.
The call ca from Qiao Yufei.
Qiao Xiang had no choice but to stiffly answer the phone.
On the other end, Qiao Yufei said, "Big sister, we other sisters definitely have to co to your housewarming, otherwise it would be too rude."
"Second sister, so other ti," replied Qiao Xiang, not wanting them to co over and cause trouble.

"Big sister, I heard you’ve started working at the Pei Family company, double congratulations," Qiao Yufei said with a hint of sarcasm.
Qiao Xiang looked at her. "Thank you, second sister."
She was very cold to Qiao Yufei.
Qiao Yufei didn’t care, glanced at the n, greeted them, and then ran off to find Qiao Rui, whispering, "So you just ignored what I told you, huh?"
Qiao Rui shook her head. "Not at all, second sister."
"Why didn’t you tell earlier? Were you planning not to tell about big sister’s housewarming if I hadn’t called?"
"It’s not like that. Big sister said to do it separately."
"She just wants to show off," Qiao Yufei said through gritted teeth.
Although she didn’t like Qiao Rui, the thought of Qiao Xiang’s tactics made her dislike for Qiao Xiang even greater.
So now she was switching sides, deciding to join forces with Qiao Rui against Qiao Xiang.
Of course, this was all wishful thinking on Qiao Yufei’s part.
Qiao Rui was the type who wouldn’t start trouble with others unless provoked.

His attention wandered between Qiao Rui, Qiao Yufei, and Qiao Xiang, treating Qiao i perfunctorily.
Qiao Lanqian and Qiao Xiguang also sat down. With each girl being both beautiful and well-dressed, the Qiao Family was indeed a sight to behold.
Noticing how well Qiao Rui and Qiao Yufei seed to be getting along, Qiao Xiang subtly signaled a servant to bring sothing to drink.
"Second Miss, Sixth Miss, have so beverages as well," the servant offered with drinks and liquor.
Qiao Yufei reached for a glass of liquor, while Qiao Rui spotted apple juice. She preferred not to drink alcohol, and the green apple juice looked refreshing and crisp.
Just as she was about to take it, the servant’s hand shifted.
