Huo Sinan’s living room was very spacious, covering well over a hundred square ters, brightly lit and lavishly decorated.

The soft woolen carpet spanned thirty square ters, and to one side of the hall was a children’s toy castle.

At first glance, one might think they’d entered an amusent park.

Little Xingxing pulled Qiao Rui into the room to show her his toy castle as soon as they walked in.

Qiao Rui wasn’t restrained at all and seed to have great fun playing with the child.

Watching the pair, one big and one small, play so rrily with the toy cars, Song Muyu couldn’t help but laugh and ask, "Ruirui, are you trying to make up for a childhood you missed?"

Ruirui replied, "If that’s how you want to see it, sure."

"There’s really no helping you," Song Muyu sighed. "Play on, you two, one big kid and one little one."

At that mont, a Huo Family servant brought over the tea and snacks, setting them in front of Song Muyu.

Song Muyu glanced at the tea and after a sniff, blurted out, "Xinyang Maojian?"

Huo Sinan raised an eyebrow, "Miss Song knows her tea?"

"Just a little," Song Muyu smiled and turned to Qiao Rui, "Ruirui, Xinyang Maojian. Would you like to co over and try so?"

"I’ll wait a bit," Qiao Rui wasn’t in a hurry, choosing first to take a couple more laps with Little Xingxing.

"Does Miss Rui know about it too?" Huo Sinan couldn’t help looking towards Qiao Rui again.

"Not bad," Qiao Rui simply smiled faintly, showing little emotion on her fair face, and even when facing Huo Sinan, seed quite indifferent.

It seed like she reserved all her warmth for Little Xingxing, being especially cold to him.

Huo Sinan felt a twinge of jealousy towards his own son, for he used to be the man most desired by won.

If it weren’t for now having a child and needing to act more staid, he wouldn’t be living a life akin to that of a monk.

It appeared as though both of the stunning won were keeping him at arm’s length.

As Huo Sinan sat down on the sofa, just about to speak and lighten the mood, Song Muyu beat him to it.

"Mr. Huo, if you’re busy, you can attend to your matters. Ruirui and I will keep your son company."

Huo Sinan was startled; this was his ho after all.

To be sent away in his own ho...

He darkened his expression and said, "I’m not busy."

Song Muyu shrugged, "The illustrious CEO of the Huo Family, with so much free ti on his hands?"

"Yes, Miss Song, I indeed have a lot of spare ti."

Song Muyu chuckled. "Since you’re so free, why not think about how to find your son’s birth mother?"

Huo Sinan was chagrined, "Miss Song, Miss Rui doesn’t seem to mind the trouble she’s helping with."

"Ruirui is too polite to say it, so I am saying it for her."

"Frankly, I really can’t think of any way to solve this, so perhaps Miss Song could help out," Huo Sinan deflected the matter onto Song Muyu.

The business world was full of such evasive maneuvers and squabbles.

Song Muyu scoffed, "Then if Ruirui doesn’t co anymore, you can entertain your child on your own."

Huo Sinan’s hand, holding the teacup, stiffened slightly as he laughed it off and said in a light voice, "Miss Song is also kind-hearted. I understand your thoughts and wouldn’t want this to affect Miss Rui."

"Since you know, then you should act quickly," Song Muyu stated.

Huo Sinan said, "Miss Song, there seems to be a destiny between the child and Miss Rui, you surely wouldn’t have the heart to break such a pure and beautiful bond, right?"

"Mr. Huo now speaks so well," Song Muyu smiled faintly, "putting on a pedestal. If I were to break this bond, wouldn’t I appear to be a person of poor character, harsh even to a little friend?"

Huo Sinan smiled mildly, "I’ve had no such intention."

"Let’s not be hypocritical," Song Muyu sighed. "I’m just worried about Ruirui. As a young lady, being called ’mom’ by your son could impact her reputation."

"I will talk to Little Xingxing about this," Huo Sinan assured.

"That’s a deadlock!" Song Muyu exclaid. "Mr. Huo, better spend your efforts tracking down the child’s birth mother."

Huo Sinan half-closed his eyes as a hint of a cold look swept across their depths, "Do you think a woman who abandoned her own child would care if there’s a child who needs her?"

Song Muyu was taken aback.

Just then, Qiao Rui walked over, glanced at Huo Sinan, and said, "I heard your discussion just now. Before I leave today, I’ll make a promise with the child to et three tis a week, to give him a transition period."

"That’s good!" Huo Sinan nodded. "Miss Rui is benevolent, for which I am grateful."

"Mr. Huo, you needn’t be so formal," Qiao Rui responded.

She picked up the teacup, sipped the tea, and savored it carefully.

This Xinyang Maojian was fragrant and elegant, the taste fresh and brisk, with a sweet aftertaste, truly exquisite.

Huo Sinan watched Qiao Rui discreetly.

She exchanged a glance with Song Muyu and comnted, "This tea is indeed good."

"Yes, the tea is excellent," agreed Song Muyu.

At that mont, Huo Sinan beckoned a servant and whispered, "Prepare a portion of Xinyang Maojian for both Miss Rui and Miss Song."

Both Qiao Rui and Song Muyu were surprised.

Qiao Rui said, "Mr. Huo, there’s no need; we don’t usually drink tea, you shouldn’t go to the expense."

"Compared to your generous help, this is nothing," Huo Sinan smiled faintly. "It’s rare to find those who appreciate my tea so much; naturally, I must share it with those who know how to enjoy it."

"Your tea?" Song Muyu, having heard about the Huo Family owning a Tea Factory, now realized the rumors were true upon hearing Huo Sinan’s words.

"We have our own Tea Factory; perhaps I can take you there to see for yourselves in the future," Huo Sinan said with a smile. "Tea that is freshly roasted has a distinct flavor."

"I would certainly like to visit soti," Song Muyu was intrigued.

"How about tomorrow?" Huo Sinan suggested, seeing that Song Muyu was interested and Qiao Rui seed eager as well.

Song Muyu paused and looked toward Qiao Rui.

Qiao Rui blinked, clearly tempted.

Visiting the Tea Factory and seeing the tea freshly roasted was indeed an attractive proposition.

Song Muyu was a bit concerned. "Going there and coming back on the sa day is impossible; it will take at least two or three days. Ruirui, does that work for you?"

Qiao Rui thought about asking Pei Liyan for ti off for two or three days.

That might be difficult, but she was very keen to see the Tea Factory.

So, Qiao Rui bit the bullet and said, "It’s alright, I think I can go."

"Then I’ll arrange it right away. We’ll set off early tomorrow," Huo Sinan said. "I’ll organize two cars."

"Then we are in your care, Mr. Huo," Qiao Rui nodded slightly.

"You’re too courteous, Miss Rui. I also have my own selfish reasons; I would like to take the child along for so fun too. On the way there, I’ll be in your debt for looking after Little Xingxing," Huo Sinan admitted.

"No problem," Qiao Rui smiled faintly.

Huo Sinan smiled.

Under the bright lights, Huo Sinan’s deep features were both strong and handso, now adorned with a luxurious halo, every move exuding elegance.

His eyes held a hint of an unusual emotion as he watched Qiao Rui.

Qiao Rui turned her head unintentionally and t Huo Sinan’s contemplative gaze, causing her to freeze for a mont.

"Mr. Huo, is there sothing on your mind?"

Huo Sinan was taken aback and a trace of embarrassnt flashed through his eyes as he replied, "No, it’s nothing."
