Lu Heming gave the order, and really led his n to forcibly storm into Liu Garden.

Qi Yun froze for a mont and imdiately turned off the voice chat.

Jiang Jinfeng saw her annoyed expression and sighed inwardly. "You just had to provoke them. They’re already frustrated from failing their mission and are going to face punishnt when they go back. Now you’ve added fuel to their anger. You really enjoy stirring the pot, don’t you?"

"I’ll handle it myself." Stung by Jiang Jinfeng’s words, Qi Yun imdiately prepared to go outside.

Jiang Jinfeng stopped her and said, "No need for you to step in. Let them co in."

"If the Young Master finds out, he’ll definitely co after ," Qi Yun said in a panic. "I can’t just let them in casually."

"Too late!" Jiang Jinfeng replied in a low voice, his tone firm. "You can’t always act so recklessly!"

Qi Yun pouted. "It’s not like I want to. I just couldn’t swallow my anger."

Jiang Jinfeng sighed deeply. "Ruirui turned off her phone tonight, which ans sothing has changed. Until we hear more, acting rashly is absolutely prohibited!"

"Then what should we do?" Qi Yun countered, her voice tinged with worry.

"Detain them," Jiang Jinfeng said with a faint smile. "Don’t go outside yet—light the incense first!"

Qi Yun paused, suddenly grasping Jiang Jinfeng’s intent. "Got it!"

She quickly went to prepare.

anwhile, Lu Heming and Fang Mo had already barged in with their elite team.

The people of Liu Garden were also top-notch, but they couldn’t hold off the sheer number of n Lu Heming had brought.

In an instant, the courtyard of Liu Garden was packed with people.

Jiang Jinfeng walked out leisurely from inside, his gaze sweeping over the ongoing skirmish in the courtyard.

With a slight smile, he said, "Mr. Fang, Mr. Lu, since you’re here, why not co inside for a chat?"

Lu Heming and Fang Mo saw Jiang Jinfeng and, observing his calm deanor, decided not to act aggressively. They returned a faint smile as Lu Heming said, "Sure, President Jiang."

Fang Mo whispered cautiously, "Be careful, it could be a trap."

Jiang Jinfeng found this amusing. Truly worthy of being Pei Liyan’s assistant—ever vigilant.

He almost felt guilty about setting them up.

Lu Heming, however, smiled slightly and murmured, "If you don’t venture into the tiger’s den, how can you catch its cub? Even if it’s a sea of knives and a fiery pit, I’ve resolved to face it."

Fang Mo frowned, as if Lu Heming’s words implied he himself was scared to go in.

"Fine, let’s go. It’s no big deal."

Just then, Qi Yun appeared at the door, smiling faintly at them. "Since you’ve co to capture , why not join inside? Let’s sort things out before we get physical."

"Miss Qi, you’re quite difficult to et," Lu Heming said with a slight smile. "Brothers, wait outside. Fang and I will go inside and talk to Miss Qi."

"Yes!"

The n Lu Heming had brought stayed in the courtyard and did not enter the house.

Seeing this, Jiang Jinfeng said calmly, "Serve so tea to Mr. Lu’s n. Don’t neglect our esteed guests."

"Understood!"

They all entered the house together.

The living room of Liu Garden was furnished with an understated elegance.

Once inside, Fang Mo and Lu Heming didn’t notice anything unusual.

After taking their seats, Qi Yun arranged for tea to be served.

Fang Mo and Lu Heming didn’t touch the tea.

Jiang Jinfeng picked up his teacup and smiled. "What’s this? Mr. Lu, Mr. Fang—are you worried we’ll drug you?"

The straightforwardness of the comnt made it a bit awkward for everyone.

Lu Heming smiled faintly, unmoved, and turned his gaze to Qi Yun. "We’ll skip the tea, Miss Qi. However, you will need to co with us."

"Go with you?" Qi Yun asked, her voice laced with humor. "And what’s the reason?"

"Our president requests your presence," Fang Mo replied.

"If your president wants to invite , he should personally co and ask," Qi Yun said matter-of-factly, her clear eyes eting Fang Mo’s gaze without wavering. "If he lacks the sincerity, then don’t bla for declining."

"This..." Fang Mo hesitated. "That’s impossible, Miss Qi."

"In that case, I’m sorry," Qi Yun said with a faint smile, repeating her stance. "It seems we’ll have to resolve this with force."

"Miss Qi," Lu Heming spoke up at just the right mont. "Do you have any specific concerns about coming with us?"

"Of course." Qi Yun responded candidly.

"Oh?" Lu Heming raised an eyebrow. "If you don’t mind, Miss Qi, could you share them?"

Qi Yun didn’t hold back. "First, I have no obligation to attend to your so-called invitation. Second, this isn’t even an invitation—it’s outright banditry. Third, your President Pei has proven himself untrustworthy, betraying the faith our boss placed in him. This has been discussed ad nauseam already—no need to elaborate."

"Miss Qi, you truly have a sharp tongue," Fang Mo said with a cold snort. "So you’re refusing to give us any face?"

"That’s right, not a shred of face," Qi Yun replied, raising her cup to sip her tea.

Jiang Jinfeng also took a sip.

The two of them savored their tea leisurely, as if relishing the flavor.

Lu Heming and Fang Mo exchanged a glance, finding their behavior deliberately conspicuous, which only heightened their apprehension.

Fang Mo, at this point, looked quite comical—his face bruised and swollen, his lips puffed up, courtesy of a severe beating from Song Xun. His mouth now looked like two little sausages.

Qi Yun, sipping her tea, glanced at him, and Fang Mo shot her a look in return.

Suddenly, Qi Yun couldn’t help but burst into laughter. "Pfft!"

This left Fang Mo utterly embarrassed.

He knew he looked pathetic at the mont but being mocked openly still left him feeling humiliated.

"What’s so funny?" Fang Mo snapped.

"Nothing," Qi Yun replied with a smile, checking the ti. "Well, Mr. Lu, Mr. Fang, it seems you won’t be able to capture today."

Jiang Jinfeng nodded slightly in agreent.

Qi Yun suddenly began tapping the table lightly with her fingers, as if keeping a rhythm.

"Five, four, three, two, one... ti to topple!"

In the next mont, both Lu Heming and Fang Mo felt their strength drain away.

Their heads grew dizzy, and to their shock, they found they couldn’t rise—they were completely powerless.

From entering the house until now, it had only been a minute. Everything happened so quickly they couldn’t react in ti.

"You..." Fang Mo managed to mutter weakly before collapsing.

Lu Heming shook his head, similarly overco with weakness, as if he had inhaled so kind of anesthetic.

Qi Yun approached them, smiling softly. "Relax, gentlen. This ti, I’m being polite. I won’t turn you into Chen Haimin. At most, you’ll just take a nap. But if you cause trouble again, next ti, I won’t go easy on you."

Ludao.

a.m.

Si Ran had no choice but to knock on Pei Liyan’s door.

At this mont, Pei Liyan and Qiao Rui had just fallen asleep. After an intense night, the two were still basking in their passion.

Awakened by the knocking, Pei Liyan got up to dress.

Qiao Rui hooked her leg around his. "Where are you going?"

"Soone’s knocking," Pei Liyan replied.

"Let them knock," Qiao Rui dismissed it, unconcerned.

Pei Liyan chuckled softly. "Still not satisfied?"

Qiao Rui rolled her eyes. "Just go!"

With that, he threw on a robe and opened the door.

Si Ran stood at the entrance, montarily stunned to see Pei Liyan. The president’s neck had a noticeable red bite mark.

"What’s the matter?" Pei Liyan asked in a low voice.

Snapping back to his senses, Si Ran quickly replied, "President, President Lu and Assistant Fang didn’t return all night. They’ve been detained in Liu Garden."
