"Fangxin, I didn’t expect you to know how to cook, you can even scoop rice."

"I usually cook at ho. We use a big iron pot heated by firewood, so I learned how to scoop rice."

Lv Fangxin smiled warmly at Yuwei, feeling a rare sense of usefulness.

"Fangxin, I’m eting a friend tomorrow. You should stay ho and don’t run around."

"Oh!" The smile on her face instantly vanished as Lv Fangxin put down her bowl. "Sis, can I co with you? I promise I won’t say much."

"No way, just stay ho." Ye Yuwei said firmly and decisively.

"...Is it your boyfriend? Is that why you’re being secretive? You two haven’t seen each other in ages, so you’re going to get all lovey-dovey and don’t want anyone to see, huh?" Lv Fangxin finally broke her silence, throwing out a comnt that nearly made Ye Yuwei spit out her rice.

"Boyfriend my foot! I’m a proper idol. I won’t even think about dating before I turn 30, so don’t talk nonsense."

"But aren’t idols secretly dating behind the scenes anyway? Like that Chunko Deer, she has an older guy backing her up."

"Stop watching so many films and gossip from that island nation. Their idols can’t even be called proper idols anymore."

Ye Yuwei curled her lips with disdain, completely unimpressed by the sister groups from that country.

Although the girls from Galaxy often complained about various unsatisfactory aspects of the industry, whenever faced with "external threats," they always banded together. Among girl groups, they believed they were Asia’s number one.

The problem lay in the company’s lackluster support, Old Mu’s limited ability, and infighting among the team’s staff, all of which hindered their progress.

After an hour of rest, Ye Yuwei put on her headset and began practicing dance moves in the living room.

Years of relentless training had developed her muscles, making her limbs strong and her abdon defined with six-pack abs.

Her supple body shifted fluidly with the music’s rhythm, continuously transitioning between movents.

Her seemingly slender waist radiated explosive power.

Every hip movent exuded a touch of sensual allure.

Ye Yuwei’s expression transford too—no longer the innocent, unworldly young lady; she had turned into an enchanting force, a queen who could overshadow thousands of rivals.

When the dance ended, Lv Fangxin, who had been watching for a long ti, applauded enthusiastically.

"Sis, you danced so beautifully! You looked like a completely different person just now."

"What kind of person?" Ye Yuwei swayed gracefully as she walked over. Her proud figure was directly in front of her counterpart, and her eyes seed to burn with a fla capable of consuming everything.

Lv Fangxin was stunned by her sister’s intensity, frozen in place, her heart pounding wildly. Her delicate face flushed red, as if she had just been awakened to sothing unknown after years of naïveté.

Ye Yuwei smiled faintly, her gaze full of charm: "Fangxin, you’ve got quite the figure. In a swimsuit, you’d definitely shine."

"S-Swimsuit! Oh no, I wouldn’t dare. If my mom knew, she’d kill !" At that mont, Lv Fangxin’s legs and arms felt weak. Her face was filled with panic, beads of sweat glistening on her forehead, yet her eyes stubbornly lingered on Ye Yuwei.

Ye Yuwei chuckled softly, turned around, and left, no longer teasing this budding "flower."

Only after Ye Yuwei left did Lv Fangxin finally break free from her "spell," almost collapsing to the ground.

That night, as she lay on the bamboo mat, unable to sleep, her mind was consud by thoughts of Ye Yuwei’s intense gaze. Her nostrils seed to linger with a faint scent that made her heart itch.

Staring at the dimly lit bedroom, Lv Fangxin suddenly glanced at the door: "She... she wouldn’t co in, would she?"

Tossing and turning with nervous anticipation, Lv Fangxin eventually drifted off to sleep. By the ti she opened her eyes again, daylight had filled the room.

Stretching out her arms, she yawned with her cherry-like lips slightly parted. Suddenly, she rembered sothing and anxiously lifted her blanket for a look. Her face instantly flushed red.

Quickly grabbing the blanket, she tiptoed to the door and peeked outside. The living room was eerily quiet.

"Yuwei sis, Yuwei sis..." she called out faintly but heard no response. Hastily, she ran to the washroom and soaked the blanket in a basin.

"Phew! Good thing Yuwei sis isn’t here. Otherwise, I’d die of embarrassnt." Lv Fangxin let out a long sigh of relief but imdiately felt a pang of discomfort and sadness.

"Hmph! Why didn’t she take with her? She’s definitely gone on a date with her boyfriend! Ugh, so annoying!" Her imagination imdiately conjured dramatic scenes of sweat-soaked intensity and loud commotion.

"I can’t keep freeloading at her place. I should find a job." Lv Fangxin decided to take action, completely disregarding Ye Yuwei’s instruction to stay ho. She grabbed her little bag and headed off.

Ye Yuwei, of course, had no idea what Lv Fangxin was up to. At the mont, she was sitting face-to-face with Lu Bingbing.

"Leader, are you doing okay?"

"I’m not the leader of Team N anymore."

"In my heart, you’ll always be my leader."

Lu Bingbing stared into Ye Yuwei’s eyes, as if searching for sincerity behind her words.

"Just call Bingbing sis."

"Alright!" Ye Yuwei nodded with a smile.

"Yuwei, the company sent us to participate in this competition. I’m not sure what their intentions are." Lu Bingbing’s tone turned serious, resuming the deanor of a true leader.

"I heard so troubling news about this competition," Ye Yuwei said. "Competing teams include the ’Magic Numbers Girl Group,’ the ’Bright Moon Girl Group,’ the ’Milky Way Girl Group’ that just returned from that island nation, as well as lesser-known yet talented dostic groups like the ’Insect Girl Group’ and the ’Sun Girl Group.’"

Lu Bingbing shared her knowledge with Ye Yuwei, who now wore a solemn expression. This competition wasn’t just about her personal debut—it represented the honor of the entire Galaxy team.

For years, Galaxy had been recognized as Huaxia’s top girl group. Losing to another team wouldn’t just be humiliating; it would tarnish the reputation of all three hundred mbers.

"Bingbing sis, if this really turns into a team battle, we’ll be at a disadvantage. We’ve always stood out because of our MC roles and the sheer scale of our performances, which create a powerful atmosphere."

Lu Bingbing nodded in agreent. "You’re right. Two-person singing and dancing routines can feel sparse on a big stage, but the company only got us two spots."

"Bingbing sis, if that’s the case, we have to focus on refining our dance skills. Both our singing voices are just barely professional-level at best."

"I think so too. After all, we’re both professionally trained dancers and have hundreds of performance experiences. Onstage, we can definitely show sothing unique."

Ye Yuwei sipped her coffee and mused aloud, "Bingbing sis, are we sticking to our songs from Galaxy?"

Lu Bingbing sneered, "What do you think? Do you really think Old Mu would spend money on buying other licensed songs?"

Ye Yuwei sighed, "Our songs were mostly designed for large-scale group performances. They work well in a grand ensemble, but very few are suitable for a duo."

"We could choose so ballads to better showcase our dancing. I believe the final decision will still depend on the judges evaluating the perforrs’ skills," Lu Bingbing suggested.

"Aren’t the audience voting, like what we do in Galaxy?" Ye Yuwei looked at her skeptically.

"That’s what they say. But in reality, for such shows, how much of the results are really decided by actual audience votes?"

"Unless soone is a Natural Idol who naturally draws people in and wins over the crowd at first glance, the final lineup is determined by the organizers. Companies always prefer skilled professionals."

After thinking for a while, Ye Yuwei nodded, "Leader, I agree with you. Let’s focus on showcasing our strengths."
