Outside the venue

The bus incident continued to fernt.

In a fit of rage, Qiu Fan directly posted a lengthy rant on Ye Yuwei’s public forum:

Ye Yuwei is really the first person in the entertainnt industry to personally go down to diss teammates and incite fans to tear apart her teammates!

So manipulative, even with her own teammates she doesn’t hold back.

Ever since being at the base, it’s been all about competing, showing off, and even bullying other girls during performances.

The slander targeting ixuan, Zixuan, and Yang Ni was entirely engineered by Ye Yuwei’s fans.

On the surface, she acts all friendly with everyone, but in reality, it’s all forced sisterhood.

She’ll do anything to climb the ladder. Lv Fangxin is supposed to be her closest friend.

But have you ever seen her comforting the local flower sister even once at the base?

Instead, she leeches off them effortlessly.

The woman’s personality is despicable, and her fans are just as malicious.

And that so-called "Wei Poison" fan who attacked the bus hasn’t even been confird whose fan they belong to. Just because she said so, we should believe her?

I honestly suspect it was one of Ye Yuwei’s fans pretending to boost her popularity.

After debuting, think about how much grievance my ixuan endured. Without ixuan, who would even pay attention to this group?

Now she’s branding herself as a tough and independent woman.

Back in that lousy group, wasn’t she playing coy and pandering to male fans?

Such a calculating, manipulative person!

Qiu Fan’s remarks completely enraged Ye Yuwei’s fans, as well as Lv Fangxin and Yang Ni’s fans.

The accusations in her post were outrageously nurous.

Qiu Fan seed to have lost it, spewing rumors and sars with reckless abandon.

Li Ke, upon seeing her rant, was so infuriated he laughed out loud, then practically wanted to kick this woman to death.

In his anger, he also penned his own lengthy rebuttal:

How can ng ixuan’s top fan be so shaless in washing her hands clean?

From the "Heavenly Idol" program, which group started the sar campaign to grab the center position initially?

You think people have forgotten? Or are you "Wei Poison" folks just losing your minds?

That "cult-like fan" incident was already proven to involve one of yours.

Don’t you all have a secret chat group?

Let’s see what’s been said in there. I’ll post screenshots for everyone right now.

Weren’t you all discussing sending Yezi packages with blood, viruses, blades, or trying to ruin her appearance with acid?

Didn’t those words co from soone in your group?

Now that sothing has actually happened...

Initially, we thought "Wei Poison" existed among every fanbase and that we should collectively resist such twisted minds.

Turns out we were wrong. Maybe so of you are even regretting that bus fan didn’t succeed.

Now you’re dumping every bla on our heads with malicious intent!

Claiming we spread slander? You’re the ones fabricating those rumors.

Probably doing that sneaky stuff in your group altogether, right?

You "Wei Poison" think just casually spreading rumors and gossiping about them like any ordinary chat will leave you scot-free?

I’ve put up with you for so long, but the thought of enduring another year with you makes want to vomit.

Why didn’t she step down completely back then, and yet shalessly co back for the center position?

The battle between these two key fans escalated straight away.

The fans on both sides were instantly ignited.

All sorts of vulgar words flew back and forth, coupled with blackmail and exposés.

Both fanbases had similar numbers, and they were fighting evenly matched, with relentless attacks.

Yang Ni and Lv Fangxin’s fans also started directly clashing with ng ixuan’s fanbase.

Fans from other groups joined in with alt accounts, secretly fueling the fire.

All in all, although the 11 girls weren’t fighting, their fans were deep into full-blown battle mode.

Originally, Penguin intended to use this sports event to enhance the group’s unity, but they could only sigh in disappointnt.

This was just impossible to handle.

But how could Penguin’s decisions simply be disrupted by a few minor fan battles?

That night, the 11 girls gathered again in the villa for a "pastry" unity eting.

"Why do we always have to eat pastries? Can we switch to stir-fried dishes?" Lai Ruoxuan voiced her dislike of pastries.

"Isn’t this more sophisticated? Stir-fried dishes and hotpot in a castle setting would be too low-class," Fu Xiaoyu joked.

"Seafood would work too! We hardly dare to eat these pastries!" Yang Ni shook her head in frustration.

Jiang ngqi was opening a bottle of high-end red wine: "But even seafood packed to-go wouldn’t work either!"

"Snack on so treats with wine! Zixuan has plenty of supplies."

"Ah! Don’t you dare think about my stash!"

"Still have a stash? Didn’t Yushen take all of it earlier this morning!"

"Yeah, wasn’t that the dried bean curd and chips we ate at lunchti?"

"Ah! I’m going crazy! I’m losing it! What am I supposed to eat tonight?"

The group once again entered a playful teasing mode, noisy and chaotic.

Still, whatever needed to be fild had to be done.

When the big ship released the photos of them showcasing group unity together...

The official website nearly crashed under the flood of complaints.

One photo showed ng ixuan and Ye Yuwei sharing a toast.

The two even perford a skit of "romantic best sisters" for the cara.

Fans on both sides were furious, feeling like the big ship was making a mockery of them!

Finally, under pressure from all 11 fanbases collectively "greeting" the ship, those two photos had to be deleted.

The attempt at unity failed completely, but they managed to stir up a ton of drama instead.

The three negotiated collective brand deals disappeared as well.

Originally, Penguin’s plan was to create a strong brand for the group.

First, to align everyone’s contributions and distribute profit equally.

Second, to maintain the group’s brand identity, ensuring that even after disbandnt, they could rebuild the group with newcors.

Now, it’s basically only four fanbases generating inco, split among the 11 mbers, and this put heavy pressure on Penguin’s operations.

Night fell, and the commotion gradually subsided.

"Zijing, why aren’t you resting yet?"

"I’ve got my period!"

"So you’re..."

"I ran out of pads!"

Seeing Zhang Zijing’s serious and anxious face almost made Ye Yuwei laugh uncontrollably.

"What? It’s not that funny!"

"Isn’t it hilarious? A celebrity struggling late at night in darkness... just to realize she ran out of period pads."

"Ugh, stop! You’re starting to sound like those out-of-touch guys online!"

Ye Yuwei had already gotten up and handed her one of her own.

"Yezi!"

"Hm?"

"My periods have been irregular lately."

"... Maybe you’re overworked."

Ye Yuwei was startled by her slightly shy deanor, and even began doubting herself.

"Maybe... This period has been truly exhausting!"

"Zijing, if it’s overwhelming, you should take so ti off."

"No way. I’m already holding the group back; how could I skip collective activities?"

Ye Yuwei felt bittersweet hearing these words, almost like a joke yet deeply resonant.

Currently, the 11 mbers’ popularity was fragnted.

Even though Zhang Zijing wasn’t prominent, she still had to fulfill the role of a background prop.

This reality was truly harsh for them.

"Zijing, honestly, being part of this group already puts you on a great starting point."

"I know. I’m clear on my position, which is why I have to work even harder."

"We’ll work together, like Mr. Long said—five years from now, our nas will still resonate in this circle."

Ye Yuwei smiled, holding Zhang Zijing’s hand, their eyes eting in the moonlight-darkened room, clear as the night sky.

In life, to encounter a friend like this is truly a stroke of luck.

Zhang Zijing understood Ye Yuwei, just as the latter understood the forr.
